Generic small time football blather thread 2015/16
Howay replied to The Fish's topic in Newcastle Forum
Aye I just remember it having a lot of average players in it, I'd forgotten it was actually 125 as well . Just had a look and the two U.S.A players who made it are both female players so he must have been forced to include the USA in the list and couldn't think of any American men -

Aye bringing up the FIFA 100 list is ridiculous, was Pele not made to pick at least 1 player from every country that had qualified for the world cup? I think Mia Hamm is on the list ffs. -

The thing is he wasn't rated highly by anyone I know to begin with. About the most glowing praise on here is along the lines of he's an average player who will give you 6/10 performances, so why are you so desperate to see him get called shit when most didn't really call him much better than that to begin with? -

Fwiw Anita was better than Colback tonight imo. Anita dropped off Payet so got the blame from the commentators but Colback upon seeing this simply ran past him into the box rather than picking him up, giving him space to pick his place. I blame the two of them for the first goal. As Stevie says once Colback picked up that daft booking he was terrified to put his foot in, his passing was horrible too. -

Aye it's a lot like watching Cattermole clatter into players for no reason whatsoever, giving away penalties and free kicks all over the place. No idea why you're on here btw your lot are fucking tragic as well and have played far worse teams than our useless lot. -

Haidara is fucking crap. Was at fault for the second (admittedly it was a team effort but he could have just stayed on his feet and give Moses a slight degree of difficulty) but in general his play has been shit all season, regularly out of position defensively and constantly ruins attacking moves. Most said we needed a left back all summer and watching him struggle every week is going to get increasingly frustrating (alongside our pedestrian attacking build ups). -

Aye, most teams have had more goals than we've had chances so far this season. -

Sissoko in the centre, Aaron's and Perez on the wings and we look lively. -

Perez again looking like he knows what to do with a football, if he doesn't get a start next week then I've no idea what McClaren is watching. -

Aye Haidara is fucking wank, any coaching he has had from when he started playing to now would have told him to stay on his feet in that situation. Not blaming the goal squarely on him mind the full useless 11 are to thank for that. We look fucking crap tbh and it's terrifying that we look completely toothless. I can't be arsed to watch the midfield duo of Anita and Colback anymore tbh as they're tragic as a pairing, if they are the starting pairing again next match I'll be switching off. -

We have nowt here like. The CM partnership of Anita and Colback isn't working and needs changed, I don't know if Sissoko,De Jong or Wijnaldum are the answer but it needs changed around. I'd like to see Sissoko put there with Perez brought on to play wide. -

Aye I'd prefer to see Perez up top alone than Cisse as Perez is far better at keeping the ball and bringing others into play. It's frustrating that Perez isn't starting because any time he has played recently he has been amongst the best on the pitch. -
Moussa Sissoko signs for Spurs for like £30m or WatEVA
Howay replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
Aye it may have been twisted like, think he was more angling that Cabaye had played for PSG and then moved for big money to Palace than actually saying Palace are a bigger club. Regardless he should focus on actually playing the game of football better rather than being so worried about who he's playing for, he neglects the fact that all the players he mentioned have been far better than him on a regular basis for the last few year which definitely helps get them games over him at the international level. Cabaye received nearly half of his international caps while he was at us and Sissoko has had 22 of his 29 while at us, so I don't think either were hampered by playing for us. We'll be the biggest club he plays for if he keeps up the sort of attitude he played large stretches of the last two seasons with.- 1745 replies

Aye, massive legend on their forums for holding up a misspelt sign outside of SJP in the middle of the night. Middle aged charva hanging out with his 16 year old nephew and they all respected him .

Can't really remember tbh, I know finishing 5th was a dissappointment (looks daft now but higher aims etc back then) and iirc we had a poor start then Freddy chucked him. As Tom rightly said the majority wanted him to get at least the season, so no idea where this hounded out bollocks comes from.
-
Aye to be fair towards the end he had a tough time keeping those bellends under control, hence Souness coming in to crack down on them... which ended up as a failure.
-
Could be, I'd heard about it but didn't see it myself. I remember there were fans unhappy with Sir Bobby after we had finished 5th but it definately wasn't a hounding out, most were annoyed with Dyer, Jenas, Bramble and co for being cunts as well as Freddy fucking Bobby over

Did he not have Bovril thrown at him back when he was England manager? So basically he wasn't spat on and it wasn't even anywhere near him being manager of Newcastle.

Do they not teach how to correctly write a contraction or use an apostrophe in Trampsville? It is 'it's' not 'its' you fucking moron.

The state of the entire crowd in that picture man. The old woman standing up on the left is no doubt shouting something horrific relating to Lukaku's skin colour. The best one is that monstrosity with the green headband on, wtf is it? . Good amount of weathered pink seats on show as well in their fucking hovel of a stadium.

One bloke punches a horse and they bring it up as if it's something all people from Newcastle do, going by that logic all mackems must regularly impersonate murderers since you have wearside Jack fucking scumbags.
-
The disheveled clip of that bloke man, he actually looks like that when he's doing his v-blogs so I imagine that's him thinking he's dressed up. Fucking huckle.
