  1. I lost all respect for him after I saw him park his Ferrari in a disabled spot outside the Pizza Hut on the silver link before climbing out wearing a fur lined leather jacket. I don't think he was injured at the time and he had no excuse for the jacket. He was quality on his day mainly down to his pace but I think his lifestyle was only ever going to shorten his career, his clobber choices were as questionable as Tim Krul's in all. He still gave us THAT picture of him dressed as Austin powers with a mortal Bramble dressed as Batman.
  2. Sounds like the sort of player Colo will get frustrated with and lash out on, similar to when Suarez was at his heels for a match and he ended up hoofing him.
  3. Chat shit get banged. We will cuff them 3-0, I have no reason for thinking this other than we surely will cuff someone soon.
  4. As Richard Keyes says "It was just banter"
  5. Agree with this, saw it last night and it just felt like it was missing something the whole way through. The bond lady was very nice on the eyes and the action scenes were class (some started edging into that Pierce Brosnan Bond ridiculousness a little too much for me at times). Skyfall's definitely the best modern Bond movie for me as well, this one just felt like they phoned it in a little for Craig's last one. Still enjoyed it like but I think I was expecting too much after Skyfall and the hype.
  6. I bet the King took Klopp's dinner before running onto the bus home.
  7. Aye I've no doubt that Savage is a complete bellend. I get the sense that he thinks when most rip into him it's 'banter' which is why he has taken the Terry criticism really hard as it's clear Terry was just calling him shit and not even trying to make a joke of it. I think he forgets that although he was a Premier League player he was nowt more than a destroyer really, the fact he tries to act and dress like a flair player doesn't change that fact.
  8. I agree they're not invincible, they're just quite clinical and we tend to struggle for goals. I think if we can put in a performance like we did against Stoke we will get points from them.
  9. We're nee Arsenal mind, I think Leicester will be a very tough game for us as they really do have a good system and some good players like Mahrez. Palace I'm more confident about especially as they've come off the boil a bit.
  10. Rio called the book a 'sleeping tablet', and judging by this extract from the book, he may be right. "Having shorter hair certainly took some getting used to," Savage writes. "I got in the shower, reached for the shampoo, and before I knew it, I was done! "I don't really follow fashion, I create it."
  11. My fear is we don't seem to be all that arsed against smaller name sides, disinterested against Sheff Wed and Bournemouth. We were up for it against Norwich so there is hope but we've got two games coming up against smaller name sides who are far more lethal going forward then Bournemouth. It was good to see Elliot perform really well and Thauvin come on looking like he gave a shite so there were some positives from the game. Like I said I'll take the win as they've been nearly unheard of away from home (first since January iirc) but I just hope McClaren can knock what looked like complacency out of them.
  12. We're just lucky they're completely hopeless, and of course for having the Dilsch in net.
  13. "line up the pints and get on your knees lads! we're thanking the Dilsch in style tonight!"
  14. Utterly fucking embarrassing, happy for the 3 points but it is really worrying how disinterested the team looked there.
  15. Eh? I don't even think we've been time wasting that much either. The ref is surely the only person that wants 6 more minutes of this shite match.
  16. Leicester next, so no doubt our team of billy big bollocks will turn up with no interest in playing a smaller name side then get battered by Jamie Vardy.
  17. Aye at least he is wanting to play football, the rest of the team look like they'd rather just be sat at home.
  18. Two horrible sub choices, we need to bring people on that can get and keep possession so McClaren swaps two of the only outfielders that have contributed for a stiker that can't trap a bag of cement and a flair player who is trying to find his feet in the league
  19. Should have been aye, very close to the same sort of challenge as neither had a chance of getting the ball.
