  1. I agree to a point but I think the players are better than what we're seeing (I don't think they're great mind). We got completely bossed by Bournemouth who had a central midfield of Surman and Gosling, our central midfielders are without doubt better than them two. There just doesn't seem to be any sort of tactic other than trying to retain the ball, no real runs are made etc. I agree the players should also shoulder blame because they simply aren't performing but I'm really struggling to see much of an improvement tactically over the Pardew/Carver shite and while I was happy to give McClaren time it's starting to get a bit worrying as he has had 5-6 months now to make some sort of impact.
  2. Aye his track record is worrying tbh. Joe Kinnear, Alan Shearer, Kevin Keegan (to try and get fans on side but he had been out of work for years), Hughton, Pardew, Bassett and now McClaren, all the cheapest option he thought could do a job and as you say a good few of them had been sacked by lower league sides and the others either had no experience or had been out of football for years.
  3. Do you honestly see any sort of system though? We done okay early on in the season and had a lot of the ball against good sides and we could write off the lack of chances due to it being against top sides but those lack of chances has continued against everyone we've played. He put on the same side that he did against Bournemouth which was an appalling performance, we're in real danger of relegation the way we are playing. I don't disagree that if we do get someone it'll be another shite to average English manager who is out of contract but the fact is McClaren has had no more impact than John Carver did so far.
  4. English managers out of contract? What is Phil Brown doing these days, it'll be some knacker like him.
  5. It's a contender like, we look so poor. Ashley needs to learn we can't keep being cheap with the manager position.
  6. Anita pulling out of the challenge there, I know he is on a yellow but we need a player with a bit more confidence and presence there as without Sissoko's foul that probably would have been 3.
  7. We've had 64% of the 2nd half possession, we're so wasteful of possession because you would never think we'd have had that much of the ball watching this.
  8. They gave up after the first goal tbh (debatable if they were even bothered from kick off), no one wants the ball, no one looking for it, once a player runs by them they give up the chase. Shameful at this stage of the season to see this.
  9. It is aye but he literally just stood there 8 yards from his man marking fucking nobody and made no attempt to do so. Sadly we probably have seen defending of that level mind.
  10. What in the fucking hell was Janmaat doing? That was the most pathetic piece of defending I've seen in years which is saying something.
  11. But all we do is defend, the fact that we have Mbemba back there rather than Mike Williamson is probably a big reason for us looking more solid. This is fucking embarrassing,
  12. We're fucking shocking like, the last two games have been really worrying. We simply aren't in games at all, is McClaren bothering with any sort of tactics? We never get shots, when we go forward we look clueless. It's getting frustrating as they've had enough games to be showing signs of a system but we look worst than we did earlier in the season.
  13. Little twat, Sissoko should have pushed him away from goal rather than letting him get on his inside. The commentator has just jizzed all over the place about the record, fantastic that him and Van Nistelrooy both got this record against us at home. We've looked poor yet again like, the commentator on mine keeps saying he expected more from us after the win away from Bournemouth so I assume he didn't watch us play Bournemouth.
  14. I lost all respect for him after I saw him park his Ferrari in a disabled spot outside the Pizza Hut on the silver link before climbing out wearing a fur lined leather jacket. I don't think he was injured at the time and he had no excuse for the jacket. He was quality on his day mainly down to his pace but I think his lifestyle was only ever going to shorten his career, his clobber choices were as questionable as Tim Krul's in all. He still gave us THAT picture of him dressed as Austin powers with a mortal Bramble dressed as Batman.
  15. Sounds like the sort of player Colo will get frustrated with and lash out on, similar to when Suarez was at his heels for a match and he ended up hoofing him.
  16. Chat shit get banged. We will cuff them 3-0, I have no reason for thinking this other than we surely will cuff someone soon.
  17. As Richard Keyes says "It was just banter"
  18. Agree with this, saw it last night and it just felt like it was missing something the whole way through. The bond lady was very nice on the eyes and the action scenes were class (some started edging into that Pierce Brosnan Bond ridiculousness a little too much for me at times). Skyfall's definitely the best modern Bond movie for me as well, this one just felt like they phoned it in a little for Craig's last one. Still enjoyed it like but I think I was expecting too much after Skyfall and the hype.
