I feel a bit for Dummett as he has the desire and commitment but he simply isn't a Prem player, saying that Mike Williamson has managed 150 Prem appearances so he could well get more.
-
Aye just Paul Dummett struggling to bring a dead ball under control instead.

I watched half of the first episode and it seems they changed a few of the characters backgrounds and where they are. Juliana seemed to be in the Pacific States rather than Carson City (or wherever she starts in the book) maybe it could be starting before where the book was set? As I know Juliana makes references to how she used to live in the Pacific states. I'll be giving it a go as well like.

 As if some bloke in Rotterdam is watching that tragic Sunderland side as well as watching Sparta.
-
Penshaw Monument always cracks me up, it's on their fucking club badge as well as if to signify Roman history or something when in reality it was built in the mid 1800's.
-
Sparta Rotterdam, really trying to force some link to Rotterdam I guess
-
Btw the Feyenoord link they always spout off about, did it just come about after we gave Feyenoord a few kickings in Europe and they took a bit of a disliking to us so some Feyenoord fans went to mackem games or was it before that? Fucking hilarious trying to find any team in red and white and claiming some affinity with them. I just find it class that some nob made the post on the same day I was griefing them for it on here.

Funnily enough the day I posted that this thread was put up on their forum: http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/another-foreign-club-with-a-link-to-sunderland.1169416/ "Another foreign club with a link to Sunderland?" Why are they so fucking desperate for these sort of links? My only guess is that since they've basically never played in Europe (a kicking from Ferencavaros or whatever aside) they're trying to pretend they have any sort of presence in Europe.

The fat lasses christmas avatar is up, the one on the left of the picture reminds me of the marshmallow man from Ghostbusters is that the look she was going for? it was probably meant to be 'sexy sailor' or some other failed attempt.

They're fucking knackers, I never saw any of the posts Scoobos was referring too but I've no doubt some were being disrespectful towards the incident and jealous (as the 'closet mag' shite shows) towards any attention we get.
-
He just has no ability on the ball whatsoever, it is something that is exposed less at CB. At left back he is often asked to overlap or initiate attacks (without just launching it forward), I can't remember which game it was but in a recent one the ball came to him in the opposition half at nothing more than a roll and he took three ridiculous touches just to get the ball moving in the vague direction of their goal (wouldn't say he really had it under proper control) it was horrific.
-
It is going on a bit long now mind, at this point when does it stop? it was the whole of last season and it has been through 13 this season, is it just something the fans will do indefinitely? It was an awful incident but we need to move on from it.

We can only hope the win can start a little run (even if it's just a win over Villa) but we've seen them do well against bigger sides only to not bother their arses against lesser ones, so we wont really know until next match. I'm chuffed we won but it's still concerning that we didn't really get many shots on target (just 1 iirc which came in the 93rd min), it's been a problem all season for us. It would be great to see a committed performance like that against Villa with a lot more shots on target. I still think we should move Sissoko inside as having Colback in the side at the expense of one of Perez/Wijnaldum/DeJong/Thauvin isn't worth it. Thauvin actually had a few nice touches and runs at the end, albeit against a tired side, it would be nice to see him get some more game time but it's hard to drop Perez/ De Jong or Wijnaldum (obviously out of the question) for him.

Agree with that, his goals only really came when he had drifted centrally in the 2nd half (which it seems like he was told too as in the first he barely got a touch), it's a complete waste having him in front of Dummett as Dummett's control and passing is horrific it just never looks under control until he eventually just belts it up field. -

While the medias pathetic reaction has been funny, I must admit it's a little sad to see that when a Premier League side beats another we see stuff like "The five reasons Liverpool lost to Newcastle United" and the BBC having Joey Barton dissect Liverpool's loss to Newcastle United. Then people saying shite like "well it's because Liverpool's midfield was Lucas and Allen" fair enough but they were against Jack Colback and Vernon Anita so not really the most valid excuse is it? The Moreno goal is a fair moan as he was onside, Origi was off mind and he was in an active zone for sure and took defenders off Moreno, Alex may also be right that he may have saw the flag and just attempted it, in any case it's still no guarantee they would have won or even drew had that counted. We were the better side, our players worked harder, ran further, pressed more and had more chances (despite there only being 1 on target each iirc), I just find it a bit daft that nowadays when one Premier League side beat another it is treat like a League two side just beat the Prem champions, the Bournemouth v Chelsea game saw a similar sort of theme and that wasn't a shock at all to me as Chelsea have been fucking shite all season. -
They also kiss up too and force connections to any fan of another club who says something positive about them and insults us.

Aye they just call all of our players complete shite, get annoyed that the media rates our players more than theirs and then says "well he has done fuck all for weeks" after one of them plays well. Knackers to a man that lot. The Newcastle fans that frequent that board and constantly attempt rational conversations with them baffle me man, may as well just smack your head off a wall all day it would probably do less lasting damage as well. -

Top dergs trophy will be heading back to Tyneside, in the anniversary week of the momentous 9-1 as well, must be galling for the poor lads. It'll be that little bit harder to get out of bed and head down to the job centre queue to sign on for them lot tomorrow morning. -
