Nice touch Cisse.
-
Alli falling all over again.
-
He's out of position and has Paul Dummett behind him who just howks it forward anytime he gets the ball. Last match against Liverpool he done nowt until he was moved more centrally (or at least drifted there out of frustration) and he 'scored' two (I know one was given as an own goal), compare that to Cisse who is playing in his position and doing absolutely nowt anytime he does get the ball.
-
Fully agree, we weren't in that half at all so if he thinks he can set up the same way with the same players and get a different result he's off his rocker.
-
Same problems over and over again like, having Colback and Anita as a midfield pairing is a massive disadvantage then having De Jong ahead of them staying completely immobile means a massive disconnect in the centre of the park. Cisse is a waste of space up top, I know the ball rarely reaches him but when it does the play immediately breaks down due to his horrific control and poor decision making. Wijnaldum needs to be behind the striker for me, try De Jong in Colback's place or drop him as it's just not worth having a disconnect in midfield for his leadership.

That Alli's spent half the game rolling about the ground. I've got Townsend commentating and what a bellend the bloke is when Alli tripped Mbemba over early on he goes "in fact Mbemba did actually come across the front of Alli" he did aye so that excuses Alli having a look and lifting his foot up to trip Mbemba up? the sly little fucker.
-
Because he's finished.
-
Anita is so fucking short btw even with a jump he was no where near the ball
-
I was about to say our keepers tend to have stormers against Spurs until that went in.
-
I'd much rather see us play Perez or Mitrovic over Cisse, if we're going to try and whip in crosses Mitro is the better option as Cisse tends to make a looping run towards the far post on the opposite side of his marker making it really difficult for the crosser to get him the ball and if we're trying to pass it through the middle Cisse cant tramp a bag of cement so he isn't much good in that option. I understand the experience argument to a degree but the bloke seems a bit of a knacker and doesn't seem to do much leading anyway.
-
Colback with his obligatory yellow, we need to sign someone to replace him in January.
-
Aye, starting Cisse is a waste as well as possession just breaks down anytime the ball goes to him.

Massive lads fan though. Ftm.
-
They put in a good morale boosting performance last week that shows we're canny when they actually decide to play so I fully expect them to let us down completely and sit on the pitch as Spurs walk all over them.
-
 I love how the Sir Bobby thing is always escalated, from watching some games now and again to him basically being a massive lads fan. Honestly man they're sad as fuck, as soon as there is anyone connected with us there is a mad dash to declare he's a massive lads fan (a fucking daft phrase to begin with) as if anyone not from Sunderland (or with some trampy family members) would actually give a fuck about one of the worst teams in Premier League history.

Vieira's nee Jamie McClen, that's a real box to box midfielder. -

I thought the same when rumours he may get the sack a few weeks back started so I went onto a Swansea forum to get their side and they seemed (for the most part) pretty frustrated with his tactics and team selections, they've also only had 1 win in 11 or something. I know he had that good season but Pardew had one here and the majority wanted shot of him too, I rarely see Swansea play so the people who watch them every week would know best (as we did when watching Pardew compared to others who just yelled about beating bigger sides and 5th place finish) I really think the move has been made to bring Rodgers in which is probably a smart move tbh. -

Yeah I mean there's nothing much we can do until Jan (short of trying the Sissoko option, which in all honesty is worth at least trying), a left back and CM would be my priorities in January mind. Saying all that your first point about how we can persist with them is exactly the major issue because that's exactly what we will do with an owner like Ashley, we can probably just about manage with them so we will continue. -

Aye I know you don't like him Anorthernsoul but the lad being a good pro isn't a negative. I don't think he brings much at all to the side, he played well against Liverpool by being clean in possession in our half, going off what HF said earlier it seems once he got into the opposition half and nearer their box that's when he become pretty ineffective and that's the issue really. We have 2 CM's who contribute basically nothing in the opposition half, they struggle when their options are less and they have less time to make a decision, we really can't persist in playing both but Anita is the better of the two. If he can put in performances like he did against Liverpool regularly he will be very low on the teams list of problems, he will need a CM partner in Jan mind unless Tiote can miraculously capture some form. -
We give the mighty Northampton a right kicking, do you guys mean you want them to try further than the 3rd round? Fully expect Watford to humiliate whatever squad we put out, if we go under-strength our lot will probably be too shit and if we put the first team out they wont be interested in playing Watford.

Colback with 69% of his passes complete, considering the majority of them seem to be 5 yard side-ways or backward passes that's fucking atrocious. -
Aye it's fucking hilarious, they moan about stuff like that but still declare their shithole town as being better than Newcastle. Agree with the Fish that they have some brass neck calling our stadium a landfill, ours is historic and is right in the City centre, meanwhile there one is a shitty bland stadium made in the 90's which may as well be the Madjeski or any of the other flat pack type shite. Going back to the wanting to tie themselves to other teams they use the fact their ground is named the Stadium of Light to do that as well. Bunch of fucking losers, forever in our shadow and all that.
