Mental really, falls into a similar category as Tiote leaving for me in that I think he can definitely do a job for us but McClaren doesn't seem interested. I'd rather sell him because loaning him out doesn't really do us much good does it? Utter embarrassment this club like, fully agree with the lad Fish is on about saying we've basically spunked 25m on Ben Arfa replacements. This is a lad many on here were adamant would come and fail and he has came and failed (of course there is obviously blame at the feet of management for this but either way), worrying that people on a forum saw what our scouting team were blind to. I've started reading the book soccernomics and I couldn't help but think of the Cabella and Thauvin mess when he was discussing player relocation. I know many have probably read this but the jist was some clubs are willing to spend up to 25k on a relocation agent for new players who would set new players up with phones, cars, apartments as well as assist their girlfriends/wives getting settled, basically allowing the new player to concentrate on football however some clubs baulk at that extra cost (despite the player costing millions). I do wonder if we're one of the clubs who don't bother with that sort of thing, especially with our cheap cunt owner.

Can't say I'm fussed either way, I agree with Andrew mind that we aren't in a position to sell players atm. Hopefully there's a fee and we can bring in a player who is a bit more capable of contributing.
-
Aye true enough, it also means Swansea are further weakened as a starter is now banned next match (unless they win an appeal).
-
Doesn't matter anymore, above us on GD now.
-
Mackems go above us on the head to head if the score stays the same?
-
Fuck me, Defoe must have been 5 yards off there and the linesman hesitated like fuck. Shambolic ref and two shambolic teams, meanwhile the commentator wanking himself daft saying it's the best game he has seen all season.
-
Mackems winning after an offside goal for Defoe, referee is having a nightmare tonight.
-
Mackems equalize, despite me wanting a draw I was still a bit gutted when they equalized.
-
Aye he had a canny game, shame he showed he can still play well when he seems to have one foot on the plane. Should be playing over one of Colback or Anita, I know he picks up yellows but Colback is almost as prone to picking them up and I think Tiote offers more.
-
Rooney just made a comment along the lines of "it's not just because of the refs decisions it's on us" not sure what game they were playing in but the one I watched they had a lot of help from refereeing errors.
-
Aye Van Gaal proving what an unlikable prick he is, poor manager and his analysis of the game makes it clear why he makes some of the horrific team selections and subs that he makes.
-
Mackems v Swansea tomorrow, hoping for a draw in that one.

Dirty manc twats, should have been down to 9 men by the end of the game. We had 3 strong pen shouts alongside the one we got. Ferdinand says Man Utd will be disappointed not to win there and I think he's completely wrong, we deserved the 3 points there and the ref assisted in the mugging there. We need to start playing like that against lower opposition because they showed there today they have the talent to open teams up.

Never doubted the lad

Honestly cannot stand that fat mackem wank Waddle, he sounded like he was blowing his load when Rooney scored and when Depay picked up the ball on the wing there he went "Oh here we go!" almost audibly moving to the edge of his seat. How can a bloke as fucking stupid get a job commentating.

Here's Gouffran lads

Worth 60 quid apparently, not sure when anything Everlast make was worth 60 quid mind.

I enjoyed it for sure, just unsure of all the hype. I'm sure Alejandro is gutted about my review.
-
All over these shitters here. Have to win this man, can't have another game where we play well and fail to pick up points.
-
Watched it last night and thought the same, I understand how difficult a lot of the scenes were to shoot and how well acted etc it all was but it still wasn't particularly entertaining to watch. Hardy, Di Caprio and that Domnhall Gleeson were all good in it but the film didn't live up to all its hype for me. I also thought Birdman was utter bilge so Inarritu will be upset to know he's on thin ice with me now.
-
Aye honestly man Waddle is thick as pigs muck. He went on to say "he eventually played the ball and that's what saved it from being a pen" he may have touched the ball but that was after taking out Janmaat by going through the back of him, it's all the more ridiculous considering the soft pen given against us.
-
Mitro showed his power well there and a tidy finish from Winny. No clue how that wasn't a pen for us mind slid straight through the back of Janmaat, Chris Waddle said it was shoulder to shoulder so I've no idea what that fat cunt is watching.

I was reading the stuff about him on the Swansea thread someone posted and it seems he lives in a rough part of Swansea as well, seems a bit of a loon but I agree it's something the team has been lacking particularly in central midfield. Totally agree with AH that his range of passing and better shooting ability is something our CM has been crying out for, we have been persisting with 2 players that can only really do anything defensively Shelvey adds a player who is a bit more willing to gp forward and link up. 12m is a decent fee but the prem has been going mental money wise, if a player like Rodwell goes for around 10m then 12m for a bloke that regularly plays, is still young and is in the England picture isn't horrific.
-
Confirmed that he is signed by the club.
-
He is capable of some really canny play but he can be a right lazy twat defensively, we do desperately need a CM that is more offensive minded though and I think in our current mess we can't really turn our noses up at him. Not wanting to spend 19m on Cabaye in the summer looks dafter the longer the season goes on.
