This fucking club, bet the daft cunts were sat on their hands waiting to offer him a contract on a free at the end of the season (which I'm sure they would have been outbid for anyway). Shown to be a pretty clinical finisher at a shite Premier League side that weren't creating much, no chance will they find a striker as good as him for 4m.

I don't think he will be too bad mind, we desperately need a left back though and if that isn't prioritized now the club are crackers.
-
Aye he must think he has missed his chance to move to a higher level team after not getting a move following the 5th place season. A shame as I still think he's better than Anita and Colback, still suppose it doesn't matter too much as McClaren clearly sees him below them two shitters in the pecking order so now he'd be 5th choice. I hope the money is re-invested in a left back, it's not just the defensive frailty that Dummett costs us but a fair amount of potential attacking moves due to his tendency to just howk it up field if it comes to him or run into dead ends.
-
Had the same promo for the Man Utd game, think they'll be waiting a while for them free jackets mind as West Ham have been good this season and we had no answer to Payet last time. I'm hoping that Shelvey coming in for Colback or Anita will give us a better platform to build attacks from resulting in more chances for Mitrovic, Wijnaldum etc, hopefully our lot put in a performance like Tuesday nights.

Fucking hell, he was barely injured at Ajax was he? The daftest bit is most of the injuries have been unusual, collapsed lung, poked in the eye etc.
-
Especially Thauvins.

West Ham are a decent side this season, 5th at the minute so hopefully our lot will be up for it. I don't agree that the club think they can gamble with what they have and I think spunking 12m on Jonjo Shelvey proves that, it's radically different to any transfer behavior under Ashley so I think the club know this squad can't do the business.

Generic small time football blather thread 2015/16
Howay replied to The Fish's topic in Newcastle Forum
Aye they'll either just buy like mad now or appeal and have it pushed back like barca did, it's not much punishment if they're given a window to prepare for it is it? surely it would be more punishment if they said they weren't allowed anyone from now onwards. Barca made the thing a fucking joke as well, even buying two of the leagues best players and just not registering them for 6 month so I expect more of the same from the Madrid teams. -
Perhaps, I'm just worried that in the current mess we're in we now have Gouffran, Tiote and Thauvin apparently leaving and so far only Shelvey and Saivet in. We have time to get replacements etc of course but I'm not so sure the ownership deserves our confidence. I'm not too worried about losing Gouffran mind, just think our thin squad is getting ridiculously thin now (and it's mostly clogged up with shite anyway). He'd probably be of use in the Championship mind...

Mental really, falls into a similar category as Tiote leaving for me in that I think he can definitely do a job for us but McClaren doesn't seem interested. I'd rather sell him because loaning him out doesn't really do us much good does it? Utter embarrassment this club like, fully agree with the lad Fish is on about saying we've basically spunked 25m on Ben Arfa replacements. This is a lad many on here were adamant would come and fail and he has came and failed (of course there is obviously blame at the feet of management for this but either way), worrying that people on a forum saw what our scouting team were blind to. I've started reading the book soccernomics and I couldn't help but think of the Cabella and Thauvin mess when he was discussing player relocation. I know many have probably read this but the jist was some clubs are willing to spend up to 25k on a relocation agent for new players who would set new players up with phones, cars, apartments as well as assist their girlfriends/wives getting settled, basically allowing the new player to concentrate on football however some clubs baulk at that extra cost (despite the player costing millions). I do wonder if we're one of the clubs who don't bother with that sort of thing, especially with our cheap cunt owner.

Can't say I'm fussed either way, I agree with Andrew mind that we aren't in a position to sell players atm. Hopefully there's a fee and we can bring in a player who is a bit more capable of contributing.
-
Aye true enough, it also means Swansea are further weakened as a starter is now banned next match (unless they win an appeal).
-
Doesn't matter anymore, above us on GD now.
-
Mackems go above us on the head to head if the score stays the same?
-
Fuck me, Defoe must have been 5 yards off there and the linesman hesitated like fuck. Shambolic ref and two shambolic teams, meanwhile the commentator wanking himself daft saying it's the best game he has seen all season.
-
Mackems winning after an offside goal for Defoe, referee is having a nightmare tonight.
-
Mackems equalize, despite me wanting a draw I was still a bit gutted when they equalized.
-
Aye he had a canny game, shame he showed he can still play well when he seems to have one foot on the plane. Should be playing over one of Colback or Anita, I know he picks up yellows but Colback is almost as prone to picking them up and I think Tiote offers more.
-
Rooney just made a comment along the lines of "it's not just because of the refs decisions it's on us" not sure what game they were playing in but the one I watched they had a lot of help from refereeing errors.
-
Aye Van Gaal proving what an unlikable prick he is, poor manager and his analysis of the game makes it clear why he makes some of the horrific team selections and subs that he makes.
-
Mackems v Swansea tomorrow, hoping for a draw in that one.
-
Dirty manc twats, should have been down to 9 men by the end of the game. We had 3 strong pen shouts alongside the one we got. Ferdinand says Man Utd will be disappointed not to win there and I think he's completely wrong, we deserved the 3 points there and the ref assisted in the mugging there. We need to start playing like that against lower opposition because they showed there today they have the talent to open teams up.

Never doubted the lad

Honestly cannot stand that fat mackem wank Waddle, he sounded like he was blowing his load when Rooney scored and when Depay picked up the ball on the wing there he went "Oh here we go!" almost audibly moving to the edge of his seat. How can a bloke as fucking stupid get a job commentating.
