It’s honestly insane how they think we’re the deluded ones yet regularly come out with stuff like this.

So it’s literally one of the fucking examples in the rule of what constitutes deliberate play. It was a staggeringly bad decision. The ref (and VAR) also both missed two scissor tackles through the back of our players by Dennis as Shelvey as well which iirc are pretty well defined examples of red cards in the rules too. The officiating team for this one should be suspended or removed from their positions imo.

He’s an absolute cunt. I said it for the whole time he was here and it holds now, just an utter fucking scumbag. He basically spent the whole game intentionally trying to injure Bruno, I’ve no doubt whatsoever that was his intention but of course like most things for him he was incapable of executing it despite going through the back of the player three times. He’s a bitter, small, pathetic man. Was overhyped as he has a decent pass on him but the issue is he’s a loser mentally, no fight in him and he has rocks in his head so while he can physically play the ball well he can’t read the game. Hopefully his career ends soon, or fizzles out, I expect he will end up penniless given the way I’ve heard he acts off the pitch. So fucking glad we’re rid of him finally the spineless, violent little prick.

How the fuck do Forest still have 11 men on the pitch . One of the dirtiest sides I’ve seen is play, both Shelvey and Dennis should have two yellows each at least, not a clue what game the ref is watching. Quality goal by Isak after Botmans fucking disaster. We need to stop these sloppy back passes to Pope.

Oh aye totally got your point, I was just having a go at the shit seater for having the brass neck to compare SAFC to those clubs. It’ll go tits up next season iyam, the loans they get next season probably won’t go as well as the ones this season (I mean they loaned a bloke Manchester United paid £40m for, there’s not many like that go out on loan), once that doesn’t work out they’ll immediately be on Mowbrays back - as they were a few months ago tbh.

The arrogance comparing themselves to Brighton, Southampton, and Brentford btw Those three teams built good footballing sides, had a direction and aligned their managers with that direction, they bought under the radar players who fit their system and grew with the side. In what way are Sunderland emulating that? They’ve went from Alex Neil to Mowbray, no cross over in style and when you look at other candidates (such as Keane) there clearly is no philosophy in place. They’re heavily relying on loans, and those loans are ones which won’t become permanent. They had a little run of results which took them to solid mid table in the championship, under a heavily experienced manager that is a known quantity. I can’t see any comparables between the sides they think they emulate and themselves other than two of them also play in red and white Fucking basket cases.

Aye his turnaround is incredible and as you say massively down to him, he never dropped his head and always put in a shift under Bruce no matter how bad it got. He’s flying now under Howe in the current system which uses more running power and physicality. I think in future he will be a James Milner type player for us, he’s such a good athlete that he can put in a shift across the attack and midfield which is a real asset to have given squad size limits etc. He’s also an intimidating bloke which is a good thing to have as the squad improves in flair/quality.

Broken clocks and all that. Looking back on this thread I had forgotten how much essembee fucking hated Joelinton, I wonder how angry he is that now most people rate Joelinton.
-
He does know they’re the nonce sympathizers aye?
-
He looks a real threat, I like how direct he is and how he’s always looking for the positive move or ball. His pace is fucking blistering, once we improve our central midfield so they’re making that through ball to him more consistently defences are going to have fucking nightmares. Only 23 as well

It can’t be a pen and a red card anymore anyway, unless it’s violent play iirc. It would have been a pen and a yellow, for me it would have been a soft pen as Jiminez clearly dived the only contact was on his trailing leg that he dragged to try and make contact with pope (the Harry Kane classic), he’d also just booted the ball right out of play to ensure Pope couldn’t get it while he looked to dive - he wasn’t getting to that ball even if he hadn’t went down. I was surprised it wasn’t given mind as it’s exactly the sort of soft pen usually given nowadays, obviously pleased it wasn’t given and I’m loving the comments from the media crew. Regardless we had a stone wall pen away to them, plus for me it was a red card offense for the last man dragging Murphy down - no chance the other defenders were catching Murphy. We also had a fairly clear hand ball claim in their area ignored.

The ones complaining will be the first to whinge when they see that Targett isn’t very good even if he did get the chance. Very good win that, important too. Thought we really deserved it, Trippier needs to switch his head back on, Pope as well as the two of them have been making odd decisions recently. That was one of Willocks best games for us, Murphy had a good game, ASM too so I’d keep the same front three that started. I think Miggy is really good coming on in that situation as he struggles against sides that sit deep so once we went a goal up he become a good option - really good movement by him for the goal.
-
Why do they keep saying it? It can’t even be both any more per the rules can it? If it’s a pen it’s a yellow, either way Jiminez ran and booted the ball away then dived over he had no chance of getting the ball ffs. Good first half by our lot, Isak looks fucking quality and a constant threat huge upgrade on Wilson. The good thing is Wolves have to open up which lets us in behind.

T’Leeds doing us a favour as well

Far from triggered, I’m more than happy for it to continue given the reason it’s went so long.

Honestly man they have to be one of the most deluded fan bases going.
