  1. Aye Waddle said it was not a pen because "There's not much Rooney could do about it" he could have had his hands in a natural position rather than lifting them that high, fucking mug. If that was Defoe in the mackem box they'd never shut up about how the ref missed a stone waller.
  2. That argument also takes them down a really dark path of when do they stop counting as a 'little kid' thus ending his title as being a 'proper paedo'? 16 would have meant he was legally in the clear but I'd still think he was a bit of a dodgy cunt trying to shag 16 year olds at his age.
  3. Aye it's utterly grim man. He would have legally been in the clear if she was 16 aye but howay man for fuck sake, grown men would really be comfortable with the idea of a bloke pushing 30 trying to have sex with a 16 year old? legal or not I think that's dodgy.
  4. The mackems are now branding him as a Geordie!! "massive Newcastle fan, never ends well when we get mags does it?" and they accuse our fans of point scoring! I'm not interested with where he's from, who he supports etc he disgusts me, the thing is I find it abhorrant that Sunderland played the prick after he was charged, should have suspended with full pay if they were using the innocent until proven guilty reasoning.
  5. Agreed, some of the comments of people are foul with blaming her. I can't understand how anyone would blame her. 15 year old lass and a star player from her favorite footy team is giving her attention, it seems like it took Johnson a fair amount of time to coax her into doing anything as well. Dirty fucking bastard.
  6. Didn't he leave his Porsche behind at a Spanish train station after his spell with Zaragota? I must admit I don't know his story but I can't see it being all too different from a lot of players from rough areas surely? Like Alex said the bloke pissed away his talent, wore a electronic tag during games for Pompey etc. There's not going to be an amazing ending to that movie is there, unless it's him signing for Liverpool and they ignore everything that has happened after.
  7. I'm shocked by the amount of people sticking up for him, not just mackems. On a facebook post by some footy group I looked at the comments and there were people from all over sticking up for him, obviously with horrific understanding of what the charges actually mean along with utterly incorrect knowledge of facts (most of them saying shite about how he wouldn't know how old she was because he met her in a nightclub, morons)
  8. Case in point tbh, trying to draw parallels between Remy and Johnson? You're thicker than I thought you were. As far as I was aware Remy was never charged? He was arrested under suspicion, the same that Johnson was (which is when your club suspended him) except Johnson was then charged with crimes (as far as I know Remy never was) which is when the club lifted the suspension and begun playing him. Your team played a nonce, pack in trying to defend it.
  9. I'd hope it's not even that, his stuff is horrific and he's never really the one breaking the news in fact he often remarks about the other Newspaper or Website he first read about it.
  10. You can almost hear the crowd of people who he has now influenced hoying out their soup from Subway (they do soup?) "Aye yee kna what fuck this Subway soup, I'm off to get some from the Grainger Market... man". Utter fucking knacker, how he has a job as a writer I'll never know.
  11. So they have no real basis for the claim? By the time he writes something everyone in Newcastle has already heard of it anyway.
  12. He'll be hyping that up in his diary no doubt. How would they even work that out? More a rhetorical question as I can't be fucked reading the article and don't expect anyone else too.
  13. This whole thing is utterly shameful tbh, agree with Renton that Sunderland should have suspended him after he was charged. Ewerk is right that they clearly avoided suspending him to save their club rather than any sort of ethical 'he's innocent until proven guilty' ideal, now they look horrific whether they knew he was guilty or not (I agree with those that said they probably didn't know he would plead guilty to some of the charges). The people saying stuff about how she was nearly 16 fucking disgust me as well, this is a married bloke with a kid who is pushing 30 picking a lass up from school who is yet to finish her GCSE's and still over a year off her provisional driving license. Even if she was 16 and he was legally in the clear I'd think he was a total fucking creep. I remember the horrible cunts that used to park their Corsa's outside my school to pick up their 'lasses' when we were around 15, I always thought they were a total bunch of paedo's and regularly told them exactly what I thought of them. In reality they were probably 20ish, so again Johnson looks worse than them to me. I just imagine getting out of school for lunch and rather than seeing the burberry capped crew with their Corsas there it's Adam Johnson sat in his Ferrari waiting to pick a 15 year old lass up, it's completely fucked and I cannot believe there are blokes acting as if that's fine because she was really close to 16. This has to be the end of his career, I don't know why Sunderland didn't cancel his contract as soon as he plead guilty to fucking grooming a 15 year old and kissing her (or whatever his other guilty plea was), what are they waiting for now? Do they deem grooming and kissing a little girl acceptable behavior? Abhorrent club. The most ridiculous part is I guarantee a fair few of the people that are trying to (still!) defend him were going mental when Newcastle refused to rip up Barton's contract after he beat up a 17 year old lad "fucking disgusting beating up a young lad like that, should be in jail and have his contract torn up" aye? well that lad would be liable to face charges if he had done what Johnson had at that age and he could still be in fucking school with her man. The whole age of 16 being the age of consent is a gray area anyway, I simply don't deem a 28 year old trying to / having sexual relations with a 16 year old girl as decent let alone that the lass Johnson was doing this with wasn't even at that age. As I say, utter abhorrent club. They rolled the dice on him being innocent and they've lost, it was a scummy move in my eyes but I see the argument that people make (even though I think the level of charges being brought should have moved the club to suspend him with pay anyway) but not cancelling his contract after he has now pleaded guilty to grooming a minor and a count of having sexual activity with a minor is disgraceful.
  14. Aye, I didn't know it was that bad but I remember when we were a good side they were always a team we seemed to lose too. I normally predict a howking in these type of games mind so now I'm predicting a draw we'll probably get embarrassed. I think you're right though the few wins in recent years have sort of overruled the facts for me and I now see us as some sort of 'bogey' team to them when in reality we probably aren't.
  15. We've done well against the in recent years iirc. I think this is the sort of game the players will turn out for and we'll get a draw.
  16. I watched all of season 1 of Topboy and thought it was class, season 2 has been a considerable drop off in quality.
  17. It can be aye but at times it's down to McClaren setting the team up to defend or trying stupid things like he did vs Everton. We've won 6 games out of 25 and lost 13, he has got a long way to go before he has earned praise. Beating a team so shit they couldn't register a single shot on target against us at home isn't the game to use as evidence of him being a class manager tbh. He has done a shit job this season.
  18. Until we see some form of consistency I won't change my opinion of him, you can't let one narrow win where we created lots of chances at home obscure the fact that Everton and matches like it happen all too regularly.
  19. Aye I'm almost certain they're drunk. Merson has clearly forgotten that incident and probably remembers them all backing him.
  20. Agreed, there's no reason not to just go out and attack from the off. Our defence simply isn't strong enough to try and play a counter game so we have to try to maintain possession and attack, we have had a good record against the 'bigger' sides this season mind and players like Sissoko normally bust a gut in this type of game so we may do well but like you say it all depends on the set up from quiffy.
  21. Aye it's a stupid fucking argument, teams like Swansea City, Birmingham City, Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday, Oxford United, Luton town etc have won the League Cup since we last won something (excluding tripe like Championship and Intertoto) they're all utter wank and have been for fucking yonks. It's just odd, the mackems go mental that the media always talk about us then go on about how they're bigger than us, blokes like Merson in the media never stop talking about us but say we're a nothing club if that's the case why aren't you talking about a club like Stoke? That group of utter alchies on Soccer Saturday are horrific for it ('Champagne' Charlie Nicholas, Paul 'having a kip at the wheel' Merson, Phil Thompson etc), in fact they often talk so much shite I've often thought they must be half cut on the show.
  22. Aye they're poor but we're playing away so there's a good chance we'll play too deep and hand them possession as we always seem to away from home, if we can play anything like what we played against WBA we'll pick up points but how many times have we said that this season before watching a horror show the next game?
  23. So according to his logic Nottingham Forest are bigger than both clubs, he's just a fucking plonkie. The final sentence of his rant sort of messes with the initial argument, the football isn't good so no body bothers going... BUT THEY'RE MASSIVE!! Why bring Newcastle into it? that's what gets me, everytime one of these nobs tries to big up whatever shit club they have ties too it's always us they compare them too, if we're so small and irrelevant then pack in talking about us. I'll happily be 'smaller than Villa' to Merson and he can have the biggest club out of the relegated teams when Villa, Mackems and Norwich go down. It always makes me laugh when they refer to people like Merson as experts, aye the bloke played professional football but he's an utter fucking moron and I'm yet to hear him make a good or insightful point about the game.
