  1. True, they also claimed to have over 80 applicants for the role the week he left before spending 6 month chasing a bloke who repeatedly turned them down while he self destructed at Derby. I guess I'm more hoping they might actually learn from past errors but that is probably unfair on poor old Lee, it's okay Lee you take your time on the decision we've clearly got time. I'm beginning to think Lee Ryder would do a better job than Charnley at the minute, maybe they could do a trading places type of deal to take the pressure of the decision off Charnley.
  2. It's completely mental, why do they have to 'prepare' to sack someone for four days? This all seems like it was a sudden shock to them that they might have to get rid of him, even the most positive fan would have started looking at the options in recent weeks ffs. Surely they should have been sorting their options and perhaps even quietly sounding out candidates in the last month or so? It's absolutely crackers that they're only now debating possibly getting rid of the bloke and having to figure out who is available. IF we do get rid I can't see it being a capable bloke like Moyes, it'll be a twat like Pearson - a man that had a squad that is now top of the league almost relegated is something that sounds like an Ashley appointment. I'm fucking sick of this club like, how on Earth does a bloke like Charnley get the job he has? Ashley would never have this clueless cunt running one of his stores so why let him run a 100+m investment/.
  3. Within 48 hours, just fucking sack him then why wait 2 days? which will be 4 days after the debacle of a game. Honestly man this Charnley is a fucking disgrace, why did he have to go to York to then decide he needs more time to decide? I still don't think anything will be done and he will be in charge next game.
  4. Maybe he has a desk down in London he can go cower under? That way he's even further removed from the decision.
  5. Aye there's just nothing, anytime we get the ball around half way and there is a decent amount of ways the play can go from the position it just stagnates. It honestly seems like all they focus on is counter attacking because anytime the play is slower there is no real purpose or direction, they try switching the ball to catch the defence unbalanced but they do it far too slowly so the defence gets into position etc, I thought at first it may click and he was just trying things out but it's been 8 months or so now ffs there should be some semblance of a plan out there.
  6. Hitting pause and making sure Saturday doesn't influence the decision too much. He is fucking trembling under his desk today, McClaren has had 28 games to show he is up to task and he has been hopeless, we still go out looking confused and without motivation or game plan. I knew Charnley wouldn't sack him.
  7. Aye, it won't take long for it to blow over as they are a complete irrelevance.
  8. Aye Sissokos should get about 0.5 the fucking fraud.
  9. It's nailed on to be a British manager which ruled Benitez out. I fully expect it to be Pearson if McClaren does go, Moyes would want £2m or so a year which would probably rule him out.
  10. Great to see, completely flapping. He really is a complete prick.
  11. Charnley currently crying under his desk praying McClaren accepts an offer from another club. I honestly would be (happily) shocked if he is sacked, he should have been gone after the 5-1 loss to Chelsea which would have gave a new manager 18 days to prepare if they aren't intelligent enough to have noticed that I'm not sure that a few more losses would have taught them.
  12. Cracking goal by Mahrez there, win this and they're 5 points clear with 9 games to go.
  13. I disagree tbh, when has Ashley ever sacked someone because the crowd had turned on them? There was complete hell on when Allardyce was manager but Ashley ignored it and when the fans had finally given up trying to get him sacked he got the sack, Pardew had seasons of the fans being against him but it eventually came to him leaving to go elsewhere. Charnley cannot make a decision, after Pardew walked out he literally done nowt and just hoped Carver would manage to keep us up. I fully expect McClaren to stay in charge.
  14. Aye it's shocking, especially when you consider Bournemouth is a club that had people rattling tins outside the ground to save the club itself not just a local youth team within the time period Ashley has owned us. We have been battered by Bournemouth once and played off the park by them the other time, lost 3 times to Watford, so the only promoted team we've done well against is Norwich. Fucking tragic this club under the total tosser of an owner.
  15. The Sunderland result barely matters to me, we look incapable of picking up points. We're getting worse, we have only ever had decent performances at home and today we got played off the park by Bournemouth. Still don't think McClaren will leave, Charnley is incapable of making a decision. We're down.
  16. Still have that game in hand against Man City remember lads!
  17. Seems I was too positive saying we would get a draw, I thought we would play okay at home but it looks like we're incapable of that now too. Bournemouth showing us how a PL side play, our defence caught completely stagnant and King hit it hard and high so the keeper had no chance just 10 minutes after Sissoko smacked one directly at Boruc which the commentator waxed lyrical about. Players have no direction or interest, I think it's too late now even if they did get rid of McClaren (which they wont).
  18. Sorry like but they fucking disgust me saying stuff like that.
  19. I always find it utterly pathetic how they go on about other teams players who played well against us, "French genius Cantona" fucking paedo supporting losers
  20. He best not start Gouffran again if Townsend is out.
  21. Think it'll be a draw, we'll play well at home get ahead but struggle to get a 2nd then they will get a goal on the counter and it'll end 1-1.
  22. I'm not even going to look at what the mackems are saying but I've no doubt they have a massive chip on their shoulder about this, completely blind to the fact their club deserves the grief. Oh aye and I've been proven right over that mug Daddys cock again, this is the shit your club are getting that I said they would deserve.
  23. We all hope that is the case, the (hopefully completely wrong) fear is that he will win over moderate republicans with the bollocks he spouts. I watched his speech in Florida and he simply doesn't sound like the other politicians and he makes sure to say a lot of things that make people cheer despite really saying fuck all, his new one was "I'm going to bring jobs, believe me so many jobs it'll make your head spin, I'm going to make apple bring manufacturing to America and create American jobs" putting aside the fact that an iPad would cost $8,000 if that was to happen it drew a ton of applause from the crowd, of course these were 'his people' in that room but there are a lot of moderate Republicans that see him as a successful businessman who would fix trade deficits etc. Would the moderate Republicans choose Hillary Clinton over Trump? I'd love to think so but there is a fear that because of how deep party lines run that not many would vote for a democrat, to quote a woman that works with my wife "I would rather vote for a dog than Hillary Clinton" when asked if she would genuinely vote for Trump. Oh aye and I'm having a hard time stomaching seeing that complete fat sweaty embarrassment of a man that is Chris Christie stood behind Trump, a man with a 27% approval rating in the state he governs standing in Florida endorsing Donald fucking Trump rather than doing his fucking job (or at least giving the impression he does something) in New Jersey The most frightening part of this whole thing is that Cruz is a complete fucking psycho who embodies a lot of that Evangelical Christian craziness many fear about Republicans so I don't like him as a viable alternative to Trump anyway. I do agree that the logical hope is the moderates will steer clear but the fear I have is a combination of apathy (as NJS pointed out), votes from people that aren't too arsed about politics and see him as a "real genuine guy" and Republicans that will vote down party lines will give him a shot. Interestingly they were saying today on MSNBC that it's not all that certain he will get the nod because he has to reach 1,200 delegates which he will be hard pressed to do and none of the others will join with him.
  24. #justiceforjohnson They really are fucking morons aren't they? Him being found not guilty does not necessarily mean he is innocent and she is lying it just means the prosecution was unable to prove beyond reasonable doubt to the jury that he was guilty of that charge. They really need to pack in chatting shit about an area they are clearly completely uninformed on. I suppose they need to try and come up with something to try and 'win' on as the fact is they cheered on (and even made chants backing) a now guilty (and their club knew he was guilty of 2 charges) sex offender.
