Steve McClaren sacked as Newcastle United 'Head Coach' (Manager)
Howay replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
Are they sure they're fully prepared though? I mean it has only been 4 days, maybe they should slow down a bit and have a good think. -
"Yeah so we're just going to concentrate on the Leicester City match, I've heard nothing negative from the board in fact last time we spoke they told me what a great job I..." "Oi Steve fuck off mate, Lee says you're sacked so do one eh?" "Errm Lee said that? come on Nigel you couldn't have waited for this to end?" "It's Mr Pearson to you, you balding prick. No it had to be now and if you don't fuck off my son will be over to have a word."

Taking a leaf out of Lee's tactic book, if you just ignore the problem it's definitely just going to all go away.

The thing with Carr is it's mental he is so talked about, I mean he's pretty much our only scout for first team players isn't he? Scary to think that a Premier League clubs scouting network consists of a 70 year old bloke getting the ferry over to Holland or Calais then watching a smattering of games and staying in some shite B&B's before he comes home. He was then promoted to whatever the fuck his position is now, I suppose he deserved the promotion a tad bit more than Charnley who could only have been promoted on the back of his diligent work keeping the lint out of the dryer in the kit washing room. It's just horrible to think, many teams have a bunch of scouts answering to a chief scout who passes his recommendations over, instead we seem to have a bloke nearing retirement telling Lee fucking Charnley what he makes of a bunch of players and that's about it. They don't even seem to bother identifying what the team actually needs. -

Fully expected, he'll be in charge for the loss to Leicester. I wish they would pack in talking about Benitez as well, have they looked at Ashley's track record of managerial appointments? No way in hell would it be Benitez, and that is ignoring the fact that his last two jobs have been Napoli and Real Madrid so why would his next one be to relegation candidates with a complete cunt of an owner? -
Regardless of one trampy mother with horrific parenting ideals view it is still against the fucking law. How many times are these daft twats going to say something like "well it would be legal in France" or "I think you can make your own mind up at 15" before they realize that is all irrelevant, it is against the law in the UK.

Nee chance whatsoever of Benitez, we will be extremely lucky to get Moyes. This club is a nightmare.

Charnley currently praying speculation for who the next manager is covers the fact he hasn't made any decision . -

 The reasoning Mark uses there far exceeds wor Lee's intellect. "Well me mam told iz to get brown bread but ah really really luv white bread, fuckin hell why does there have to be choices?" -

The whole thing is a debacle, how can it take 3-4 days to make a rather simple decision? The thing is if they were going to keep him they should have released a statement saying they were behind him by now so everyone could concentrate on the weekend, and if they were going to sack him they could have done it by now ffs, it's hardly a complex problem that needs looking at from multiple angles and it's basically certain now that if he stays we're down. Instead of all of that they have decided to have multiple meetings in random locations and kept completely quiet about the whole thing creating a lovely air of confusion yet again around the club when a decision needs to be made. If they are keeping him they have made a fairly good go of distracting the bloke for half the week and if they are getting rid they're taking their sweet time about it when if they had just sacked him Sunday they could have had someone else in by now. It's a miracle Charnley can pick between white and brown bread in the Supermarket before the place closes. -

True, they also claimed to have over 80 applicants for the role the week he left before spending 6 month chasing a bloke who repeatedly turned them down while he self destructed at Derby. I guess I'm more hoping they might actually learn from past errors but that is probably unfair on poor old Lee, it's okay Lee you take your time on the decision we've clearly got time. I'm beginning to think Lee Ryder would do a better job than Charnley at the minute, maybe they could do a trading places type of deal to take the pressure of the decision off Charnley. -

It's completely mental, why do they have to 'prepare' to sack someone for four days? This all seems like it was a sudden shock to them that they might have to get rid of him, even the most positive fan would have started looking at the options in recent weeks ffs. Surely they should have been sorting their options and perhaps even quietly sounding out candidates in the last month or so? It's absolutely crackers that they're only now debating possibly getting rid of the bloke and having to figure out who is available. IF we do get rid I can't see it being a capable bloke like Moyes, it'll be a twat like Pearson - a man that had a squad that is now top of the league almost relegated is something that sounds like an Ashley appointment. I'm fucking sick of this club like, how on Earth does a bloke like Charnley get the job he has? Ashley would never have this clueless cunt running one of his stores so why let him run a 100+m investment/. -

Within 48 hours, just fucking sack him then why wait 2 days? which will be 4 days after the debacle of a game. Honestly man this Charnley is a fucking disgrace, why did he have to go to York to then decide he needs more time to decide? I still don't think anything will be done and he will be in charge next game. -

Maybe he has a desk down in London he can go cower under? That way he's even further removed from the decision.

Aye there's just nothing, anytime we get the ball around half way and there is a decent amount of ways the play can go from the position it just stagnates. It honestly seems like all they focus on is counter attacking because anytime the play is slower there is no real purpose or direction, they try switching the ball to catch the defence unbalanced but they do it far too slowly so the defence gets into position etc, I thought at first it may click and he was just trying things out but it's been 8 months or so now ffs there should be some semblance of a plan out there. -

Hitting pause and making sure Saturday doesn't influence the decision too much. He is fucking trembling under his desk today, McClaren has had 28 games to show he is up to task and he has been hopeless, we still go out looking confused and without motivation or game plan. I knew Charnley wouldn't sack him. -
Aye, it won't take long for it to blow over as they are a complete irrelevance.

Aye Sissokos should get about 0.5 the fucking fraud.

It's nailed on to be a British manager which ruled Benitez out. I fully expect it to be Pearson if McClaren does go, Moyes would want £2m or so a year which would probably rule him out. -

Charnley currently crying under his desk praying McClaren accepts an offer from another club. I honestly would be (happily) shocked if he is sacked, he should have been gone after the 5-1 loss to Chelsea which would have gave a new manager 18 days to prepare if they aren't intelligent enough to have noticed that I'm not sure that a few more losses would have taught them. -
Cracking goal by Mahrez there, win this and they're 5 points clear with 9 games to go.

I disagree tbh, when has Ashley ever sacked someone because the crowd had turned on them? There was complete hell on when Allardyce was manager but Ashley ignored it and when the fans had finally given up trying to get him sacked he got the sack, Pardew had seasons of the fans being against him but it eventually came to him leaving to go elsewhere. Charnley cannot make a decision, after Pardew walked out he literally done nowt and just hoped Carver would manage to keep us up. I fully expect McClaren to stay in charge. -
Aye it's shocking, especially when you consider Bournemouth is a club that had people rattling tins outside the ground to save the club itself not just a local youth team within the time period Ashley has owned us. We have been battered by Bournemouth once and played off the park by them the other time, lost 3 times to Watford, so the only promoted team we've done well against is Norwich. Fucking tragic this club under the total tosser of an owner.
