Charnley typed that as he was crawling under his desk, he'll stay there until the summer window closes.

You know I'd completely forgotten we had Saivet It's laughable really, we went into the pre-season knowing we struggled to get goals and conceded a ton, so we bought a 20 year old kid who had never played in England to play up top on his own and a 22 year old kid who had never played in England as our own defensive signing. We were also total fucking dogshit in pre-season so I don't understand how they watched the pre-season games and thought "aye this lot will do the business in the Prem".

I was hoping it was his resignation, if that bloke is in charge after this season then Ashley has learnt nothing yet again from relegation.

I don't think it's that unlikely, if he gets sacked his wife will book them a week in Benidorm in utter frustration from his sheer unwillingness to make a choice on where to go "well if you don't pick a place Lee I'll book fucking Benidorm!", he'll then be corralled into the group day out to the bulls after he feels too uncomfortable to turn down the offer. He'll then end up in the ring after he mistakenly walks through the gate after getting lost and being unable to choose who to ask for directions. Ending up with a Bulls horn halfway up his arse.

How are they shit at winding us up as well? They've done well to survive, they can look forward to another season doing exactly the same thing.

He should be gone either way tbh, the bloke has made a right hash of everything since he got the job. I still think Rafa's agent contacted the club rather than Charnley seeking him out. Of course a bloke as utterly unqualified shouldn't have the job anyway.

Aye I think that's the difficulty they've had the whole time but I agree it's only really started to feel like they're getting bogged down now, each story line is proceeding at a snails pace because it's getting 5 minutes or so per episode. Hopefully they manage it a bit better going forward but with this many characters it's really hard, it was fine in prior seasons since they all were in groups but now they're all so spread out.

I think he'd be mental to go to Man Utd, Spurs have a far better squad, they fit his tactics really well, they're in a really fantastic place to capitalize on all this new TV money and keep + build on their squad. At Man Utd he'll have a ton of expectation with an inferior squad, with the TV money I doubt they would pay him too much more as well.

I'm not convinced he'd go there tbh, he's a legend at Liverpool and he's had a fair few pops at Everton in the past. I suspect that's why he come to us in the first place, lack of other options nearby Liverpool.
-
I think it all depends on how much he actually cares about staying near Liverpool, if he's willing to waste a season to remain near his family then he'll stay as there's not really another option other than not having a job. Of course if it's been blown out of proportion and he wants to get back to the big time jobs asap he'll be away.

Agree with this, I think Mbemba has the most chance of leaving as if people had scouted him properly they may have saw a defender they were willing to pay10m for, hopefully most didn't bother scouting our defence though . The price of the others will put people off for sure and we don't need to sell. I'm sure Ashley will be fighting to keep a lot of them as well since getting back up 1st time will be paramount for him and the money gained from flogging them wouldn't make up for missing out on the prem.

Fully agree with that. It's utterly laughable that we've had a makeshift back four for a good amount of this season considering what a shit show the defence has been in the two seasons before this one, how on Earth we didn't buy more than 1 defender in the two windows is fucking mental. It has really cost us this season, as we've outscored Palace, Watford, and West Brom, and we're equal on goals with Stoke, meanwhile we're joint 2nd worst for goals conceded.
