Clyne's had a poor season tbh, when he was at Southampton I thought he was beginning to edge Walker but Walker has been better this season imo. Hodgson can't even use the excuse he's using for Wilshere that recent England performances by him have been good, last outing he had for England he was dreadful. I think Rooney has had a couple of okay games for Man Utd at CM, so if Hodgson absolutely has to play him (which he probably will) I'd prefer to see him there rather than take a place away from Vardy or Kane.
