    Must have been a while since they actually owned both of their full backs, they always seem to have at least on in on loan with Manquillo being the one this year. They look utter fucking shite like, bought some no mark lad for 17m and they're calling the Chronicle jealous for calling it a panic buy, of course it's a panic buy ffs. Fwiw he'd have to be canny good to look better than Hayden has looked so far for us.

    He finally signed: Got lost in all the Sissoko news. Don't really know much about the bloke other then seeing a canny goal from him at the ACoN, hopefully he does well since Aarons is out for a while.

    See Fulham have signed Chris Martin (not that one) on loan from Derby, thought he would have been the striker we signed before we got Murphy, seems funny Derby let him go out on loan always thought he was canny for them.

    Aye it's a really odd buy, especially with the purchase of a winger earlier today. "Pochettino accepts nothing less than 100% every game. This culture at Spurs will do him good and enable him to be a better player. He’ll bring strength, experience and presence to our midfield as well covering several midfield slots. I think they're in for a shock if that's what they think about him, he may look strong but he's a fucking tart, he has experience of 3 relegation battles and mid-table French football, some pedigree that, and to the point he adds presence see the fact the bloke is a fucking tart. I've no idea how he'd get in the team over what they have and if he does then he'll be a downgrade. We've tore their fucking eyes out on this one lads, like the Carroll deal all over again except it doesn't weaken our side as much.

Just looked on a Spurs forum and a fair few of them are happy, a lot seem to be going off the fact he played well against them so I guess his tactic of only bothering against top 5 sides worked in the end. So I suppose he has the move he wanted? Or close anyway since he really wanted Arsenal, 5 year deal as well so he can just kick back and relax. Enjoy this heap of shit player Spurs, mugged by Lee fucking Charnley ffs.

    Aye he was never going to go to Everton tbh which is why I was chuffed when Spurs matched the bid. Shows what a horrible cunt he is that he wouldn't even acknowledge a team that had bid 30m for him mind. Thrilled to bits we're shot of him and for a fucking fortune as well, hopefully we're doing well by January and can save most of this for being back in the PL. Spurs have had a nightmare with this one, I can't see how he would be in their starting 11 especially as they just spunked 11m or so on a different winger earlier today. Attacking midfield of Eriksen - Alli - Lamela with Dier and Wanyama behind, it's an odd buy for them spunking 30m on a bloke who is surely going to be back up.

    Least that means he's basically guaranteed to be off, there was always the slight worry he would snub Everton. He'll go to Spurs and sit on their bench then, wonder how many weeks it'll take for the Spurs fans to realize how poor he is.

    Most of the Everton fans on the forum I looked at seem rightfully gutted. Then this spanner posted: "I would say that its an ok signing. A little too expensive but he is a really good player that Newcastle used in the wrong way. We saw what he can do in his correct position in the euros." Did he not play on the wing for France? the same position he has for 3 years at us. Again people are acting like he was fucking brilliant for France, he really didn't do a whole lot other than a few surging runs that came to nothing. Well it looks like he's getting a move eh, I can't see him trying at all at a club like Everton. We've well and truly mugged these off if it's true, I'd be pissing myself if I was a Liverpool fan, they signed Wijnaldum for 25m and then Everton go sign a far worse player for 5m more .

    Ian Dennis from the BBC (nope? me either) is claiming Spurs are ahead of Everton in negotiations for Sissoko, I've no idea how he'd know that mind. For what it's worth I still think he's going nowhere.

    23m for Marcos Alonso to Chelsea, can't say I've seen much of him since he left Bolton but seems a fair whack of money for a back up left back.

    They sold Stones for a fortune and have that new owner who allegedly wants to start spending big so I wouldn't write it off for that. I do think journos are probably just reaching now since he left France, he probably just left France to make sure he was available rather than any real knowledge that he was going somewhere.

    Aye 15-20m + McCarthy would be excellent, not sure he'd drop down a division but he'd make a good midfield 3 with Diame and Hayden.

    I just personally don't rate him as things stand, more on account of him not really bothering during games in the PL than not thinking he can be impactful, if he started some games and did well I'm not averse to him playing more but I just can't see him being that willing to bother given he'll have missed out on his big move and most the games aren't televised which is why I'd just rather we didn't bother with him. I'm more just hoping we carry on with recruitment as opposed to relying on him. If he plays I'd of course wish he does well, fwiw if he does stay I think we'll definitely see him play I just hope he is dropped if he doesn't perform as we've seen past managers have a tendency to keep him in the side just because the potential for him to play better than others was there. Agree on the hope he goes though, I just see no worth in keeping a player that is clearly unhappy, I'd be happy seeing the club sell him for around 20m. I know there have been players moved around for mental money but realistically this is our only shot at selling him for that sort of money.

    I think a lot of football fans rate him but it seems most of these clubs know what he's really like. I think Spurs see him as a sub/back up and value him as that, they sold Chadli for £13m so probably saw him as a good replacement for £16m but won't bother going higher. He's not going anywhere, just hope we carry on with recruitment and bring in Atsu and another winger and not have to play him at all.

    Aye 4.5m they reckon, I'd have accepted that. I get that we need cover but surely with Lazaar, Haidara, Clark, and in a real bind Colback all able to play LB we should have just cashed in.

    Being held to ransom for that M'vila Has a pre-contract signed with the mackems for when his contract ends but Kazan are demanding 7m to move the deal up to now.

    Aye that's how I see it as well, if I was him I'd go to Roma as Arsenal will (most definitely) cover the wages Roma don't want to pay. It's his choice mind and I don't really know (or care) about his personal life, he'll barely play anyway, in fact he should try and see if AC Milan are interested and go there if he can that way Milan lab might be able to sort him out.
