  1. Villa are shit, I said somewhere before the season started they would need a complete and total overhaul and a far better transfer window than us, neither happened. They have an average at best manager and a squad that finished 20 points worse off than us in the Premier League, if there are people among them that actually think they will be above us in 3 weeks time they are complete fucking idiots I still don't think they'll get out the division this season. Shit club, shit fans, where they belong nowadays.
  2. Aye happy with that, dreadful game of football but it meant a comfortable win for us without expending much energy. I think it would have been a different game if Gouffran hadn't have scored quite early on. Derby are a fucking dreadful side mind. As I said before the game there were some odd choices in the side but I thought we'd win, most likely he was keeping players back for the game against QPR and if that's the plan then it has worked out well.
  3. The ground is packed to the rafters, who can blame them mind they are perhaps the most boring team I've ever seen, do we really have to play them useless twats twice this season.
  4. GET IN YEDLIN! What a crease that goal was, we time wasted so Derby never bothered putting defenders in the box.
  5. That's what I was wondering as well, brought him on as a sub for a winger twice now. I'm not against it mind as he's rapid but apparently suspect defensively.
  6. Aye Atsu started for Ghana, I think Lazaar can play wide left and we have Perez as well. We just need to get some possession though, I can't hack another 45 minutes of Derby making Jack Colback passes back and forth.
  7. What a dreadful half of football, Derby are fucking tragic to watch as their only aim seems to be to keep the ball and never risk it.
  8. Aye, to be fair he did score some decent goals when he first came before Pardew got his 'tactics' training into him. He'll be okay at this level if Rafa can get him attacking like he has the last two games, it's a truly shite division.
  9. I don't mind Gouffran too much, Atsu was just away on international duty but Colback over Hayden is a real confusing one. The full back situation is getting daft as well, both Anita and Dummett still starting, Gamez isn't even getting on the bench now. I still think we'll win simply because the league is total fucking shite but there's some odd choices in that starting 11.
  10. It looks like he gets his shirts from H&M the tight cunt. The black and white tie in all ffs
  11. I agree that this is how they saw it. Also fully agree with DK and others that a major shake up is needed but it simply wont happen. For me Allardyce has already started getting them playing his way and the goal showed evidence of that, for the last 25-30 minutes of the match we were slinging balls into the box and packing it with as many players as we could which in the end is what got us the goal, a scrappy ball bobbled around the box until it fell to Lallana who swung a boot at it. We'll qualify but it'll be utterly shite, of course once we get to the tournament it'll no doubt be business as usual and we'll get KO'd by the first decent side we come against.
  12. Walcott looked fucking shocking by the way, I know he was offside for one of his misses but Christ it was terrible.
  13. Aye was about to say, it's all exactly the same. Total shite not that any of us expected it to be any different.
  14. How do people like that get through life?
  15. I'd never heard of Brotherhood, I assume it's the next in the line of those films. As I say the second one was pretty shit so I don't expect a third to be any less cringeworthy. I've not seen election year but didn't mind the first Purge film, thought the second one was faaackin bobbins though. Just had a look at that Brotherhood trailer, fucking Stormzy is in it the bloke is a complete fucking joke, I almost keeled over when I saw him 'announce' Pogba to Man Utd let alone him being in a fucking film. What's going on with that horrific rap song over the trailer in all "trust me, trust me, trust me" over and over again.
  16. It's been yonks since I've seen them but from what I remember Kidulthood wasn't too bad if you can get past their fucking ridiculous accents "you get me blud". Adulthood was cringy as fuck from what I remember mind, so bad that whenever I think of it I thought I remembered Danny Dyer being in it I don't think he actually is though but I could see him striding down the street like he's shit his pants to come meet up with them.
  17. Aye that's not how it works like, Spurs just made a horrible deal accept it. Why would we ever agree that the payments would stop if he left? If that was the case they could see he was shit after 1 year and flog him for 4m and only take a 2m hit, weey aye.
  18. Exactly, so by that statement he's never going to sign any other players? Why come out with shite like that man, just keep quiet and then when he starts being a lazy prick at Spurs you can act pleased you dodged a bullet.
  19. There's no digs at all directed at Sissoko in those quotes like.
  20. Him and Balotelli man, they should be used as prime examples to young players on how not to conduct your career. The talent those two players possessed and they've completely fizzled out.
  21. I agree with this tbh, he'll get more assists because of the fact he does get in positions and in the rare time he actually completes a decent pass in a dangerous area Kane, Eriksen or Alli will finish the move. The fact is the bloke simply isn't gifted technically at all, he also regularly chooses the wrong option under pressure, two things that at 27 year old will not be fixed regardless of the manager. Even at what we can all agree was his very best form which was in the Euro's he contributed very little of actual value for all of his effort which all loops back to the fact he simply isn't a talented player, he's an athlete. I do think Pochettino will get more out of him then McClaren etc but as DK mentioned you'd get more out of a wooden spoon than they did out of Sissoko (which imo is also a major red flag that is being brushed aside by the Spurs fans). They're in for a really big shock if they actually think he's a top player that was simply in a huff. The funny thing is all of these attributes that have suddenly been given to him haven't been displayed ever in his career, or if they have it has been in fleeting moments, I think there is a lot of hope and projection around him and they're not actually looking at the players track record. I keep seeing people bring up how well Pochettino has coached various players like Lamela, Rose, Dier, Alli, and Dembele, while he has done a good job at getting them all in top form they were all decent before. Lamela was brilliant at Roma, Rose was the mackems player of the year, Dier was one of the better defenders in a poor Sporting side, Alli was highly regarded and one of the best players in the division at a young age, and Dembele was class at Fulham before his move, Sissoko has never ever been near any of them at any point in his career and again at 27 years old he is really in the peak of his game he's not suddenly going to transform into a top class player.
  22. I think that's about what we'll see, no idea who will become 1st choice out of Yedlin and Gamez but either way I think we're going to see a lot of rotation throughout the season as Rafa seems to like competition for places.
  23. "Serie A side Chievo tried to sign former Southampton and Juventus striker Dani Osvaldo, but he told them he had retired from football to focus on his music career."
  24. Sammy Ameobi has apparently went out on loan to Bolton until January, would have thought he'd have been okay in the Championship but in all honesty I'd forgotten that we still had him.
