  1. I'd never heard of Brotherhood, I assume it's the next in the line of those films. As I say the second one was pretty shit so I don't expect a third to be any less cringeworthy. I've not seen election year but didn't mind the first Purge film, thought the second one was faaackin bobbins though. Just had a look at that Brotherhood trailer, fucking Stormzy is in it the bloke is a complete fucking joke, I almost keeled over when I saw him 'announce' Pogba to Man Utd let alone him being in a fucking film. What's going on with that horrific rap song over the trailer in all "trust me, trust me, trust me" over and over again.
  2. It's been yonks since I've seen them but from what I remember Kidulthood wasn't too bad if you can get past their fucking ridiculous accents "you get me blud". Adulthood was cringy as fuck from what I remember mind, so bad that whenever I think of it I thought I remembered Danny Dyer being in it I don't think he actually is though but I could see him striding down the street like he's shit his pants to come meet up with them.
  3. Aye that's not how it works like, Spurs just made a horrible deal accept it. Why would we ever agree that the payments would stop if he left? If that was the case they could see he was shit after 1 year and flog him for 4m and only take a 2m hit, weey aye.
  4. Exactly, so by that statement he's never going to sign any other players? Why come out with shite like that man, just keep quiet and then when he starts being a lazy prick at Spurs you can act pleased you dodged a bullet.
  5. There's no digs at all directed at Sissoko in those quotes like.
  6. Him and Balotelli man, they should be used as prime examples to young players on how not to conduct your career. The talent those two players possessed and they've completely fizzled out.
  7. I agree with this tbh, he'll get more assists because of the fact he does get in positions and in the rare time he actually completes a decent pass in a dangerous area Kane, Eriksen or Alli will finish the move. The fact is the bloke simply isn't gifted technically at all, he also regularly chooses the wrong option under pressure, two things that at 27 year old will not be fixed regardless of the manager. Even at what we can all agree was his very best form which was in the Euro's he contributed very little of actual value for all of his effort which all loops back to the fact he simply isn't a talented player, he's an athlete. I do think Pochettino will get more out of him then McClaren etc but as DK mentioned you'd get more out of a wooden spoon than they did out of Sissoko (which imo is also a major red flag that is being brushed aside by the Spurs fans). They're in for a really big shock if they actually think he's a top player that was simply in a huff. The funny thing is all of these attributes that have suddenly been given to him haven't been displayed ever in his career, or if they have it has been in fleeting moments, I think there is a lot of hope and projection around him and they're not actually looking at the players track record. I keep seeing people bring up how well Pochettino has coached various players like Lamela, Rose, Dier, Alli, and Dembele, while he has done a good job at getting them all in top form they were all decent before. Lamela was brilliant at Roma, Rose was the mackems player of the year, Dier was one of the better defenders in a poor Sporting side, Alli was highly regarded and one of the best players in the division at a young age, and Dembele was class at Fulham before his move, Sissoko has never ever been near any of them at any point in his career and again at 27 years old he is really in the peak of his game he's not suddenly going to transform into a top class player.
  8. I think that's about what we'll see, no idea who will become 1st choice out of Yedlin and Gamez but either way I think we're going to see a lot of rotation throughout the season as Rafa seems to like competition for places.
  9. "Serie A side Chievo tried to sign former Southampton and Juventus striker Dani Osvaldo, but he told them he had retired from football to focus on his music career."
  10. Sammy Ameobi has apparently went out on loan to Bolton until January, would have thought he'd have been okay in the Championship but in all honesty I'd forgotten that we still had him.
  11. Must have been a while since they actually owned both of their full backs, they always seem to have at least on in on loan with Manquillo being the one this year. They look utter fucking shite like, bought some no mark lad for 17m and they're calling the Chronicle jealous for calling it a panic buy, of course it's a panic buy ffs. Fwiw he'd have to be canny good to look better than Hayden has looked so far for us.
  12. He finally signed: Got lost in all the Sissoko news. Don't really know much about the bloke other then seeing a canny goal from him at the ACoN, hopefully he does well since Aarons is out for a while.
  13. See Fulham have signed Chris Martin (not that one) on loan from Derby, thought he would have been the striker we signed before we got Murphy, seems funny Derby let him go out on loan always thought he was canny for them.
  14. Aye it's a really odd buy, especially with the purchase of a winger earlier today. "Pochettino accepts nothing less than 100% every game. This culture at Spurs will do him good and enable him to be a better player. He’ll bring strength, experience and presence to our midfield as well covering several midfield slots. " From some nob on BBC. I think they're in for a shock if that's what they think about him, he may look strong but he's a fucking tart, he has experience of 3 relegation battles and mid-table French football, some pedigree that, and to the point he adds presence see the fact the bloke is a fucking tart. I've no idea how he'd get in the team over what they have and if he does then he'll be a downgrade. We've tore their fucking eyes out on this one lads, like the Carroll deal all over again except it doesn't weaken our side as much.
  15. Fucking brilliant. Just looked on a Spurs forum and a fair few of them are happy, a lot seem to be going off the fact he played well against them so I guess his tactic of only bothering against top 5 sides worked in the end. So I suppose he has the move he wanted? Or close anyway since he really wanted Arsenal, 5 year deal as well so he can just kick back and relax. Enjoy this heap of shit player Spurs, mugged by Lee fucking Charnley ffs.
  16. Aye he was never going to go to Everton tbh which is why I was chuffed when Spurs matched the bid. Shows what a horrible cunt he is that he wouldn't even acknowledge a team that had bid 30m for him mind. Thrilled to bits we're shot of him and for a fucking fortune as well, hopefully we're doing well by January and can save most of this for being back in the PL. Spurs have had a nightmare with this one, I can't see how he would be in their starting 11 especially as they just spunked 11m or so on a different winger earlier today. Attacking midfield of Eriksen - Alli - Lamela with Dier and Wanyama behind, it's an odd buy for them spunking 30m on a bloke who is surely going to be back up.
  17. He best enjoy it because he'll surely get done for fraud after this.
  18. Least that means he's basically guaranteed to be off, there was always the slight worry he would snub Everton. He'll go to Spurs and sit on their bench then, wonder how many weeks it'll take for the Spurs fans to realize how poor he is.
  19. Has Atsu signed? They've been talking about him having a medical for 3 days now.
  20. "Is Moussa Sissoko going to Everton? It shows how important Ronald Koeman is to Everton. They have no real recent Champions League history. They have not spent fortunes, the city is not the same draw as London, he is massively important in what Everton are trying to do. Everything else would draw you to Tottenham." From Danny Murphy, aye Murphy or it could be that Everton have bid twice what Spurs did this morning. Fucking lemon.
  21. Most of the Everton fans on the forum I looked at seem rightfully gutted. Then this spanner posted: "I would say that its an ok signing. A little too expensive but he is a really good player that Newcastle used in the wrong way. We saw what he can do in his correct position in the euros." Did he not play on the wing for France? the same position he has for 3 years at us. Again people are acting like he was fucking brilliant for France, he really didn't do a whole lot other than a few surging runs that came to nothing. Well it looks like he's getting a move eh, I can't see him trying at all at a club like Everton. We've well and truly mugged these off if it's true, I'd be pissing myself if I was a Liverpool fan, they signed Wijnaldum for 25m and then Everton go sign a far worse player for 5m more .
  22. Ian Dennis from the BBC (nope? me either) is claiming Spurs are ahead of Everton in negotiations for Sissoko, I've no idea how he'd know that mind. For what it's worth I still think he's going nowhere.
