The last match I watched on Bein sports connect had no sound, not even crowd noise, I hope that isn't the case this time as it was pretty fucking weird. It wasn't an issue with my computer btw as the commercials had volume as did the stream of the regular Bein channel.

To be fair if they got rid of them and just broadcast the crowd noise you'd have about the same knowledge of what the fuck is going on in the game. I think one of the worst was when Diame was fouled and we got a pen, for about 2 minutes leading up to that they were blathering on about something that had little to nothing to do with the match and then went "oh, I think he's given a penalty, he went up, yep there was contact, the defender made contact and he went down, so he's given a penalty" I was just sat there thinking aye and who the fuck is the pen too?

He'll waste himself, the same way he has really wasted his talents his whole career. He's a shit professional and has a shit attitude, while Pardew clearly didn't manage him well it's obvious that it's not all down to Pardew seeing as the bloke has fallen out with nearly every manager he has played under. As pointed out by others PSG probably got him because he was free, French, and was the best player on the team of a club in their division. The bloke has had numerous chances and pissed them all away, it looks like he's doing it all over again and as Tooj said he'll have no one to blame but himself. I agree with Andrew's point that Nice was probably the best place for him as they were willing to put up with his downsides whereas a club like PSG can afford to buy players who are as effective during games without any of the issues. It's a shame really but the list of lads like him who could have been so much more than they were is long, Laurent Robert was mentioned and I think that's pretty apt as Robert could well have played for top sides if he had any semblance of professionalism/work ethic about him.

I can't get over how fucking bad these two commentators are, they regularly either just pack in saying what is going on or simply start referring to players as him meaning it's nigh on impossible to know what the fuck is going on. Like just there they were talking about how good a cross by Yedlin was before eventually mentioning that the result of the cross was a good chance for Murphy, they never mentioned Murphy touching or getting near the cross while it was happening .

I think Rooney has been moved about too much to try and accommodate him into sides, most players would just get dropped and it may lead them to work harder instead he just got played in another position and carried on sacking off training early to sit at home playing FIFA. Ronaldo's seasons at 18 or 19 (or something) and Rooney had the better season by far but Ronaldo is a grafter on top of his talent and instead of just leaving training asap he trained more than anyone else. Rooney probably wouldn't be as good as Ronaldo even if he had grafted (impossible to know really) but he'd be a hell of a lot better than he is now. He has had excuses ready made his entire career, pundits always just mention "well that's how he's built" or shite along them lines but he's obviously not eating like he should if he was wanting to truly be a top top player, he got away with it a bit when he was younger but honestly he looks paggered half the time now, the bloke will be the size of a fucking house when he retires.
