I hope you're right but what I see around me is worrying. I live in a Republican town, in a Democrat state, the Republicans in this town are what you'd call financial Republicans ("get off my money, I earned it" type as opposed to the anti-abortion, anti-gay, etc type), at first I thought they'd either not vote or perhaps even swing towards Hillary, or even just keep quiet about it and vote for him. I'm seeing more and more Trump lawn signs round here by the day, there are also a lot of bumper stickers and stickers on stop signs, lamp posts etc supporting him, there is definitely far more Trump signage around here than there was for Romney last election (although there is a guy with a truck that has a massive "Obama one and done! the nightmare WILL end" bumper sticker still on it ). If it's like this here it makes me nervous about what it's like in the swing states. He is also now getting backed by people who said they'd never back him (like Cruz). I'd still put my money on a Hillary win but I think it's going to be extremely tight, there are idiots who will vote for him simply because they see him as something different. The Brexit win is another aspect that makes me fear for a Trump win. He's getting an abundance of media attention much like Farage did, I think he has actually been mentioned on the Today show every single day since he announced he was running, it's basically got to the point where they run a "what is Trump up to today" segment. When there were other candidates usually any mention they would get would be if they said something about Trump or he said something about them. The media think it's entertaining and it'll get people talking/watching which it will but of course the downside to that is the massive amount of exposure he is getting off the back of it. He has somehow crafted himself into a 'man of the people' type of every man who got where he is through his own hard work, despite Hillary coming from lower means originally she is seen as the snobbier and more privileged candidate. It's a lot like Farage imo and we all saw what that fucking twerp helped do.

He also said that he was a much more controlled person than Hilary, two minutes later she brought up a time that he had heard about American sailors being 'taunted' by some Iranian soldiers who were on a small boat and he said "I would have blown them out of the water" he then responded by saying "yeah if they're taunting us we should", and then after Hilary said "yeah and cause a war" he said "it absolutely would not" You're spot on Donald blowing up a bunch of soldiers from another nation would cause no aggressive response from them.

Aye it's mental that in this day and age it's not broadcast somewhere, the daft part is there will be cameras there filming anyway. No doubt the rules of any deals the Championship signed with broadcasters wouldn't allow it but it would be class if they would live stream every game (or at least the ones that weren't being broadcast anywhere at all) and you could pay like 30 or 40 quid for the season to have access to your teams games.

I can't help but feel he had forgotten it had been found unconstitutional and had prepared to big it up so carried on anyway.

It's surely going to be Pardew, he had a ropey end to the season and is currently in a patch of good form, so he knows the Palace fans will be quick to be on his back when he goes through another rough patch.

I think that's a good point Dickie, we've played a lot of teams expected to be up the top end of the table challenging for play off or automatic spots and have a lot of the dregs to play. I do think we need to start playing with a big man up top, I think Rafa sees Diame as filling that role when he plays him up with Gayle but I just don't think they work great as a pair. I'd really like to see Perez get a good run up top alongside either Mitro or Murphy.

I don't see any upside to people abusing him on twitter, also agree he wasn't the one to blame as despite fucking up for the goal the forwards missed about 20 chances and we had a left back that spent 90 minutes passing to the opposition. I do agree with DK though, the lad needs dropped. He's never shown many signs of being much use and I doubt he'll ever turn into a PL level keeper so why bother with him. Just play Darlow until Elliot is back and accept that we made an error buying him.

This, they look dreadful. They didn't do anything until the offside goal got their backs up about 15-20 mins into the 2nd half, even then we'd have been fine if we had a keeper that would take a bit of ownership of his box and forwards that could score (or even work together).

Paul Dummett btw, did he complete a pass to a Newcastle player? He also got skinned about 8 times, one of the turns that beat him was so shit and slow I thought my stream had slowed down. If Lazaar isn't good enough to beat him out what on Earth did we buy him for? I know Dummett wasn't at fault for the goal really but it's still worth noting he is a massive liability.
