  1. We should enjoy it while we can tbh, when was the last time we could be confident going into games? May as well make ridiculous claims, they've been coming off for a good amount of the season so far.
  2. 5-0 to Rafa's winnet lickers. Preston's manager sounded about as excited for this as I would at an appointment for having my kneecaps drilled, no doubt his lack of enthusiasm will filter to his shite players.
  3. MLF since he was a kid, not like the maggie cunt who hoyed the lerrds off the plane last time FTM.
  4. His hands are actually really small. He has got such an odd way of talking mind, weird to see how it's the same 25 years ago as it is now as well.
  5. You're right of course, we'd all much prefer a 1-0 loss to some bairns from Southampton followed by being stuck there overnight (nee Quinny to get the leeerrrds taxis home) than battering Preston reserves and Ipswich.
  6. It was mental that goal mind, straight from kick off every toon player touched the ball, no Ipswich players do and then Perez whacks in a mint volley. Regardless of what some people are saying about the opposition it's still fucking class.
  7. Hernandez puts 3 past them and then spends the whole game against us in Ciaran Clark's back pocket, how fucking crushing would that be for them.
  8. It's going to be fucking torrid for them when they're struggling down here next season especially if we're up and doing fine in the PL. From the way they're acting now they should walk this division.
  9. Not fancy sacking that off and doing some predictions spreadsheets instead?
  10. That's really not far off how some of the mackems think, I saw a thing on Facebook of our first goal against Ipswich where from kick off every single Newcastle player touched the ball, no Ipswich player touched the ball, then Perez smacked in a quality volley and a daft mackem commented going "shit opposition, couldn't do it in the Premier League", without grasping why we are excited by goals like that, regardless of opposition we couldn't put more than 3 passes together a few months back now we're passing around teams and playing 20+ passing moves on the way to goals. There is an obvious step up for sure but the fact we're hammering teams shows we are clearly closer to the lower PL sides than we are to the upper Championship teams, I'd say they'll pipe down a bit after we batter Hull but they'll come up with some stupid excuse for why not winning a game in the PL is better than being top of the Championship, winning 3-0 every week, and being in a cup Semi final.
  11. Canny list, they all love Antiques Roadshow as well.
  12. I see Trump was in Florida today and he apparently brought a bunch of people from minority groups on stage who happen to work for him to say they'll be voting for him He even fucking joked if they didn't say something nice he'd fire them before bringing them on. He's having a laugh now surely?
  13. Cracking draw tbh, can they really put out a weakened team? I thought they only had 18 players? I suppose they could hoy some kids on. Either way we'll batter them tbh, confidence is high and I honestly think a lot of the players will see this as a way to prove themselves against a Premier League side (barely I know).
  14. Then they might have celebrated by necking some white lightening that Fonte went and got for them.
  15. Was just going to say whatever happens we all win.
  16. The funny bit is their line up had about 9 or so of their regulars in, so I genuinely think Moyes was giving this a go. Meanwhile Southampton put a bunch of bairns in, probably all had to rush home so they could get to sleep in time to be properly rested for school in the morning. Suppose that motivated the Southampton lads to avoid extra time.
  17. BAFU Southampton's kids managed one on target and Engerlunds numbahh 1 Pickford didn't stop it. Definitely better than battering Preston reserves 6-0 though.
  18. It's class, it's like he's traumatized "I'm not going through that again man! no, never, nah, NO! NO!" I think he's forgetting they still have to play us at St James' in the league so he will be going through 'that' again.
  19. Just saw Southamptons line up, it's basically an under 21 team
  20. Aye doesn't exactly sound confident, it makes me think he might even consider giving some of his normal starters a rest tbh.
