It's a real wait and see as I don't think anyone has any idea what he really thinks like you say. Some of his 100 day plan is actually quite good, things like term limits for Congressmen and a 5 year ban on joining lobbying groups after they've served their time in the houses, he has also said he's going to call out China for currency manipulation and more aggressively pursue foreign trade infractions that put US people at a disadvantage. The calming of tensions with Russia is also a plus. It then starts to get a bit worrying mind, he then talks about how he plans to pull all US funding from the UN climate change funds, get rid of the blocks Obama put up against some of the Oil pipelines, basically anything to do with climate change he is taking the opposite stance on, he plans to attempt to overturn Roe v Wade, overturn Obamacare which puts about 23m out of medical care (I know Obamacare is a mess but it does have its pluses and he hasn't really come up with a proper alternative), and finally the wall is still actually coming up which I am shocked by as he calmed down about it, I'm not sure if he's just saying it knowing he has to and the House will reject it (people like McConnell have already said there's no way they'd vote for it) or if he genuinely thinks spunking billions on a wall would do anything other than offend Mexico. Oh his stuff about channeling money towards infrastructure is a good thing as well as the bridges and roads are a real mess over here, so as I say there are some positives as there are with anyone that gets this far but some of the stuff he's put in that 100 day plan is concerning. Oh aye and the Supreme court could look a bit scary in a few month.

I think in things like this it's easy for people to blow it out of hand and say "the whole country is fucking racist" as I've seen on facebook this morning but the majority of people that voted Trump did so because he's Republican and they always vote Republican. They're saying he got more of the Black vote and Latino vote than Romney did 4 years ago, so it's things like that that have contributed to his win. Clinton took things for granted, she ignored Wisconsin since the Primary as it's been a Democrat state for the last few elections, meanwhile Trump kept going there even though his campaign team said it was pointless, he won it. She managed it like a politician and he didn't, he tried to win every little thing and in the end those little things paid off as these things are won by small margins.

Fucking hell it actually happened, lots of pussy grabbing all round today. They're saying the people that it probably mattered most to didn't really get out and vote for her but I don't think it's that simple, this is a woman that lost to a major outsider in Obama, she was pushed close by another outsider in Sanders and now has lost to yet another major outsider in Trump, this is the fault of the DNC for constantly trying to force her into presidency. The media are already trying to spin this btw, there's a bloke on CNN saying he could be the next Teddy Roosevelt where was that voice 2 days ago when a Trump win meant Armageddon? For what it's worth he'll be absolutely fuck all like we've seen in regards to his offensiveness and brashness imo. It's all part of this sweeping tide of people being tired of the 'establishment', I have a lass on facebook who wrote some insane rant about how "if you're a white, cis, straight, especially a male person, this election isn't for you" then followed about 4 paragraphs of shite like that and I said to my wife at the time it's nonsense like that that fire this people who vote for Trump up, she said it doesn't matter as most people would just shrug that off but I don't think they do, I think a lot of people are tired of hearing stuff like that, it's this backlash of people who have been told that it's not about them anymore. I'm not part of it of course but I have actually been frustrated by someone else putting down any fear or difficulty I have by saying something along the line of "oh it must be hard being a straight, white, male" etc, while that's a minor irritation to me and I can accept that it's just that person trying to be funny there are a lot of people out there that are clearly tired of it.
