Aye I can't see them being too happy and the unintended consequence to giving them this voice in his rise to power is they now have a voice against him (to a degree, what they can actually do is probably negligible mind).

Is that to do with the Hillary stuff? I mean this type of frustration was bound to happen as he was never going to do some of the crackers stuff he was talking about, most politicians are bullshitting about what they will do but I think the difference this time is these people really believed it and some of it was stuff that could be done quite quickly (like saying you would be appointing someone to look into Clinton), whereas normally politicians lie about stuff like closing Guantanamo, pulling out of Iraq, infrastructure improvements etc that take fucking years to do anything about and people aren't as massively vested in/it's harder to track.

It wasn't the Alt-right as a whole, it was specific to that group that were nazi saluting and yelling 'hail Trump'. Whatever Bannon is he's not a part of that extreme type imo. As for whatever Bannon believes being on the table I think him and Trump are probably on a similar page in that regard, I don't see him as the type that will bring too many on that aren't of a similar mindset in that regard.

He really had to disavow that lot 'hailing' him now he's won, I think he let ones like the KKK slide without proper disavowing because he didn't want to lose their votes. I think he'll start to push that extreme fringe away now before letting down the less extreme Alt-right lot. About that group saying "hail Trump" and throwing up Nazi salutes, do they genuinely believe that shite? I know they're white supremacists but I just find it very hard to believe that people in this day and age can have any sort of affection for the Nazi regime and what it did, especially when you consider your countries troops died fighting that regime not exactly "supportin' the troops" like they always drone on about. They're basically the poster boy for bad guys, so right from the off you're saying you're a bad guy .

Not sure tbh, I don't think it helps that teams clearly play deeper against us giving him less space to operate but I also think players are allowed to get closer to him as the refs are a bit more lax on grabbing and shoving. It's an odd one really as like I say I'd heard it said about Alli and Jenas but wasn't really sure I believed it but Perez looked better in the PL imo, I don't know whether it's the above or if he thinks he should be able to do more and dribble past more players at this level but it's just not happening for him to the level I thought it would. I'm not saying he has been shite or anything mind just going off his ability in the division above I expected him to shine more than he has, we've only seen brief glimpses of quality like his volleyed goal.

Leeds fans know absolutely fuck all about football, as evidence by the fact they thought they did well against us and it was close, also evidenced by the fact they claim they are Champions of Europe when they are 100% not.

I just think it's a case of the league not really suiting him, Ithink he'll be more effective next season. The Leeds game was perhaps among his poorest games for us imo but as AH said at least he was grafting. We'll never see him dominating the league as some of us thought he would but he's still a class player and will be more impactful next season.

Champagne enemas by the elites are the real reason Trump won, it's just not the same with Budweiser and the middle of the country feels it's missing out. -

I agree with that, he's not doing loads wrong but he isn't doing much right in that position so it's not really hampering the team overly. As you've alluded to it's a minor complaint in an excellent season which I'm fairly sure will be remedied in the summer.

He has ridiculously thin skin like, he'll need to toughen up a bit. Saying that I think some of it is tactical to deflect things (like moaning about the Hamilton cast being 'mean' to Pence the same morning he paid $25m out for the Trump University fraud), some of it is of course just him being very sensitive but what can you expect from a man with the hands of an infant. I will say that while his whining about Saturday night live parodying him is further proof of this they SNL lot can fuck right off trying to make some stand on it and acting like they all hate him, they had the fucker on while he was running for election ffs way to give the bloke a prime time Saturday evening platform to come across as approachable etc.

I think he hoped Diame would fill the role adequately in this league, it hasn't really worked out for whatever reason. I think since we're doing so well he'll just wait until the summer as the calibre of player we will attract will be far better than if we went and got one in January.

I think that's one of the most impressive things about Rafa, we're in this incredible form and are completely in control and he doesn't really have a player that plays that number 10 role that he wants. It's going to be interesting to see who he brings in to play that role next season as I think it's fair to assume he's waiting for us to get back into the PL before getting someone.
