Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Howay replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Nah I've no time for them, especially after their "Newcastle fans wouldn't know a proper manager if he...." sort of shite (much like the Spurs twats with Sissoko btw) they were completely fucking wrong, we were spot on so ner ner ner ner nerrr nerr. I don't understand their desire to lord it over us tbh, it's small time, I mean that is what they are but it's mackem type behavior really and it's pathetic. They're happy enough to moan about him but they're doing it without any sense of how ridiculous they look after they slagged us to bits for giving him shite. It's a tough one for me, I'd love to see Rafa take us to slumhurst park and give that shambles of a side a good kicking but I also like the idea of Pardew being out of footy.- 10610 replies

He's a petty little man and I think he knows he's a shit manager. NUFC fans were pretty quick to see through it and call him out on it, obviously that was in part due to the fact he came in to dislike and suspicion due to the dodgy sacking of Hughton whereas usually a manager comes in on the back of someone else doing a crap job. He can never resist having pops at NUFC but the fact is NUFC will be the biggest club he'll ever manage, a tin pot, trampy, no mark club like Crystal Palace suits him to the ground with their shitty lower league quality stadium and facilities and irrelevant fan base. Genuinely hope he is there for years to come, preferably staying on after he relegates them.- 10610 replies

I see Phil Neville has come out defending Pardew with exactly the same lack of evidence the pundits defended him with when he was with us. He has said this is down to the players and that he feels sorry for Pardew as he's getting everything right, bit weird considering when the team was doing well Pardew was brilliant, it was all down to him, he deserved the England job or a top job, and NUFC were mugs. Neville has also said Palace don't struggle to score goals, I imagine he is only using the fact they scored 4 against Swansea as his evidence as the stat HF posted above has them scoring 46 in 38 which isn't exactly free scoring. Here's his ramblings if anyone fancies seeing what Palace fans will be going mental over today: http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/38081864- 10610 replies

So that's the bloke from The Apprentice as President and a bloke that had a cameo in Stuck on You on the cabinet.

"similar questions were raised about how the Rockefeller family's vast wealth in the oil industry and other investments might impact his duties as VP. At the Senate's request, the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel drafted an opinion saying the conflict of interest laws were best read not to apply to the vice president." So they're essentially saying "ahh it's too hard to work all that shit out just ignore it in his case", that article is fucking unbelievable tbh. It's similar in a way to how they had to create new laws that stopped insider trading by members of the house, despite the fact it's illegal for normal people anyway so why would you need a law for just them? I love the bits in that article that basically mention "yeah the Senate didn't love it but we got it through", shocker that the only ones that didn't get an exclusion or a pay rise weren't thrilled by it .

I suppose it will be if the next bloke comes in and actually does clean all this stuff up due to public backlash.

Agreed, we all know self-dealing etc happens but as you say he's just going to be out in the open and brash about it, people will take him to court and he'll win through exemptions that his legal team have already identified as the article you put up shows. One of the best videos to come out of the election was perhaps Donald jr completely missing the point of a blind trust and basically leaving it with "no we wont bring up anything to do with the company at the breakfast table, trust me" with that level of oversight who would worry eh? .

Staggering, tying that sort of exemption to a pay rise for congress. Interesting read, thanks HF. Fwiw I think we absolutely will see "brazen contempt" for the spirit of the law, this fucker is going to bend those laws so much it'll be the best bend you've ever saw, he is the greatest at bends. "Congress didn't initially show much interest in the Bush proposal, but eventually bundled it together with other reforms as a useful vehicle for the politically uncomfortable effort to boost lawmakers' pay." Well we don't really love it, maybe you should bundle in something that gives us more money? Yeah that would make me like it.

"I've built a very great company" this bloke got an Ivy league education ffs, they must have just gave him a pass in most of his classes as the way he speaks is ridiculous. Whatever you think of Obama it's going to be a big drop from him to Trumps babble.

He'll probably get banned for the first 5 games of next season at this rate, what a fucking shit show the FA is.

Oh aye they're total fucking mackems. I do love reading the ones that are trying to act like he just needs to settle, can they do us all a favour and point to the period of his career where he was consistently playing well and putting in effort, he played for us for nearly 4 years and was shit for 98% of it so I guess he never settled in, he might be set for a big season in 2021 if that's the case. Think they just need to accept the blokes fucking useless man, he's a 3-5m player that should be getting sub appearances for West Brom.

 What was it Bannon said about him? Something along the lines of him being a fantastic speaker.... Aye, sure he is.

Genuinely no idea but I'm not worried about out and out corruption of the courts more just a feeling of respect towards the office of president which leads to things going his way. He is appointing all these blokes that should not/would not be in very powerful positions so they'll feel indebted to him, we may see a similar crackers appointment into the supreme court, I think it could get very 'swampy'.

We can all come together over a mutual hatred of Moussa Sissoko. So don't thank football, thank Moussa.
-
It all comes back to whether or not people will call him out on it, perhaps even having to take him to court over it. Then of course there is the issue of how much sway he holds over the courts, in particular will they cut him slack on things because he is President?

Quite frankly I don't want Krul back (if it was him wanting the move), I don't really like the idea of him thinking it's beneath him to play in the Championship then thinking he can just walk back into the side after the lads have done the work to turn the team around and get back in the PL. He has also struggled with injuries in recent seasons so it's probably time to move on anyway.
-
Aye I think that's a big thing, while Wijnaldum is technically gifted he didn't really bother that often for us, we all know Sissoko is a waste of space, Janmaat stopped caring (not that I thought he was that great defensively to start with). The attitude of people like Ritchie and Hayden is massive and honestly I think Ritchie is far better technically than people like Sissoko anyway.

:lol:He goes by the sober stalker, the taxi rank outside the gate is his domain.

It's unreal man, we have a better squad now than we did that season and it definitely has a much better team atmosphere and level of competition, as you say we were 1 point off. It's completely hypothetical but I would fancy the squad we have now to survive over last seasons (with Rafa at the helm for the whole season). However as I say it's irrelevant because we'll buy players and improve in the summer so it won't even be this squad.
-
The amount of fucking self dealing this bloke will do while in office is unreal. Wasn't Ivanka sitting in on some meeting with a Japanese ambassador recently? The kid that's in charge of his "blind trust".

So they're saying we're not good enough for the PL despite not actually knowing what our squad will even look like when we next play in it, meanwhile their team is so far proving they aren't good enough for the PL as they have done the last few years (no clinging to 17th doesn't make them good enough) . Rafa will stay btw, why would he leave us for West Ham when he's mid way into his 'project' just to start another one? It's not like a top club are coming in for him ffs it's just West Ham.

Kushner? Aye I'm sure that region will be over the moon to have a Jewish lad from America telling them what to do...

Moussa Sissoko signs for Spurs for like £30m or WatEVA
Howay replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
 He got to experience them without buying a ticket though! The West Brom lads will hardly believe the tales of THAT night in an 18,000 seater stadium, proper Champions League night that Darren Fletcher will be jealous.- 1745 replies

He'll always have the memory of those 5 amazing games playing in amazing half empty stadiums in Monaco and Russia, he'll be able to tell the lads what it was like to play against Bayer Leverkusen (something everyone dreams of) when he's in the West Brom home locker room in a season or 2 after his move for "more playing time". Getting to come on for a legend like Harry Winks must have been incredible for him.- 1745 replies
