  1. It all comes back to whether or not people will call him out on it, perhaps even having to take him to court over it. Then of course there is the issue of how much sway he holds over the courts, in particular will they cut him slack on things because he is President?
  2. Quite frankly I don't want Krul back (if it was him wanting the move), I don't really like the idea of him thinking it's beneath him to play in the Championship then thinking he can just walk back into the side after the lads have done the work to turn the team around and get back in the PL. He has also struggled with injuries in recent seasons so it's probably time to move on anyway.
  3. Aye I think that's a big thing, while Wijnaldum is technically gifted he didn't really bother that often for us, we all know Sissoko is a waste of space, Janmaat stopped caring (not that I thought he was that great defensively to start with). The attitude of people like Ritchie and Hayden is massive and honestly I think Ritchie is far better technically than people like Sissoko anyway.
  4. :lol:He goes by the sober stalker, the taxi rank outside the gate is his domain.
  5. It's unreal man, we have a better squad now than we did that season and it definitely has a much better team atmosphere and level of competition, as you say we were 1 point off. It's completely hypothetical but I would fancy the squad we have now to survive over last seasons (with Rafa at the helm for the whole season). However as I say it's irrelevant because we'll buy players and improve in the summer so it won't even be this squad.
  6. The amount of fucking self dealing this bloke will do while in office is unreal. Wasn't Ivanka sitting in on some meeting with a Japanese ambassador recently? The kid that's in charge of his "blind trust".
  7. So they're saying we're not good enough for the PL despite not actually knowing what our squad will even look like when we next play in it, meanwhile their team is so far proving they aren't good enough for the PL as they have done the last few years (no clinging to 17th doesn't make them good enough) . Rafa will stay btw, why would he leave us for West Ham when he's mid way into his 'project' just to start another one? It's not like a top club are coming in for him ffs it's just West Ham.
  8. Kushner? Aye I'm sure that region will be over the moon to have a Jewish lad from America telling them what to do...
  9. He got to experience them without buying a ticket though! The West Brom lads will hardly believe the tales of THAT night in an 18,000 seater stadium, proper Champions League night that Darren Fletcher will be jealous.
  10. He'll always have the memory of those 5 amazing games playing in amazing half empty stadiums in Monaco and Russia, he'll be able to tell the lads what it was like to play against Bayer Leverkusen (something everyone dreams of) when he's in the West Brom home locker room in a season or 2 after his move for "more playing time". Getting to come on for a legend like Harry Winks must have been incredible for him.
  11. Aye I can't see them being too happy and the unintended consequence to giving them this voice in his rise to power is they now have a voice against him (to a degree, what they can actually do is probably negligible mind).
  12. Is that to do with the Hillary stuff? I mean this type of frustration was bound to happen as he was never going to do some of the crackers stuff he was talking about, most politicians are bullshitting about what they will do but I think the difference this time is these people really believed it and some of it was stuff that could be done quite quickly (like saying you would be appointing someone to look into Clinton), whereas normally politicians lie about stuff like closing Guantanamo, pulling out of Iraq, infrastructure improvements etc that take fucking years to do anything about and people aren't as massively vested in/it's harder to track.
  13. It wasn't the Alt-right as a whole, it was specific to that group that were nazi saluting and yelling 'hail Trump'. Whatever Bannon is he's not a part of that extreme type imo. As for whatever Bannon believes being on the table I think him and Trump are probably on a similar page in that regard, I don't see him as the type that will bring too many on that aren't of a similar mindset in that regard.
  14. He really had to disavow that lot 'hailing' him now he's won, I think he let ones like the KKK slide without proper disavowing because he didn't want to lose their votes. I think he'll start to push that extreme fringe away now before letting down the less extreme Alt-right lot. About that group saying "hail Trump" and throwing up Nazi salutes, do they genuinely believe that shite? I know they're white supremacists but I just find it very hard to believe that people in this day and age can have any sort of affection for the Nazi regime and what it did, especially when you consider your countries troops died fighting that regime not exactly "supportin' the troops" like they always drone on about. They're basically the poster boy for bad guys, so right from the off you're saying you're a bad guy .
  15. I think the Blackburn thread will be on Rayvin's mind towards the end of the night and the suggestion of Champagne enemas will come up as a real possibility when they're down the Diamond strip.
  16. No but I've no doubt given him a lovely new FB profile pic.
  17. Someone on my facebook has this as their profile pic : At least some in my (extended) family are happy I suppose...
  18. Massive climb down on perhaps his clearest promise, he was going to have a special prosecutor to look into her 'situation' wasn't he? The lock her up bunch will be fuming.
  19. How The Fish's day went after dealing with the HATERS in this thread: (don't watch with the sound up at work )
  20. Some of her photoshopped things are funny but I just find Ellen very unlikable.
  21. That's brilliant, when he wears the massive fake hands and goes on about how masculine they look.
  22. Not sure tbh, I don't think it helps that teams clearly play deeper against us giving him less space to operate but I also think players are allowed to get closer to him as the refs are a bit more lax on grabbing and shoving. It's an odd one really as like I say I'd heard it said about Alli and Jenas but wasn't really sure I believed it but Perez looked better in the PL imo, I don't know whether it's the above or if he thinks he should be able to do more and dribble past more players at this level but it's just not happening for him to the level I thought it would. I'm not saying he has been shite or anything mind just going off his ability in the division above I expected him to shine more than he has, we've only seen brief glimpses of quality like his volleyed goal.
