Good thing the last two in the current format are in mint places .

Ah well must have just been fluke for Burnley, he wasn't as good this current season although he still got 11 (they did favour a new signing over him mind so I think he only got 23 appearances). I managed to win the league on the last day of the season with a 2-1 away win over Man Utd, won it on goal difference by 1 goal , PSG absolutely demolished my lot in a CL Semi final. Goretzka and Lozano are now completely unsettled by Real Madrid and Bayern, I've already got plenty regens ready to step in for Goretzka but I like having him and Brannagan as a long term partnership. It's now the 2020 summer which iirc is the brexit one in the game.

As Alex said it was just depressingly obvious the corrupt slugs would make this decision. Does this come into play for the shit show in Russia? or just the even bigger shit show in Qatar, a 48 team winter world cup man, I genuinely hope English football just carries on as that will be complete and utter dirge.

Going to be a rough window. I agree with the mag that it's going to have to be loan deals for PL players as Championship clubs are just asking for stupid money, 15m for Tom Cairney ffs. Can't say I understand Conte's reasoning mind, Loftus-Cheek has played once in the league why wouldn't you send him out for a 6 month loan? seems pretty low risk to me, especially as they have a lad out on loan who is one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga, if Christensen can't get in their side I'm not sure how Loftus-Cheek is going to get in it (they're probably deeper in central midfield than defence as well). Frustrating for Rafa this mind as Conte has been a bit of a nob 'considering' this for a few weeks going by the quotes recently, it's a 6 month loan for a youth player ffs it's not that big of a decision.

That's fucking absurd. It's definitely one of the more frustrating things in the game especially when it's as blatantly obvious and ridiculous like that.

The board are a bit meh on me which is a bit of a surprise seeing as I've won a Champions League, a PL title, FA cup, League cup, and club world championship since I started. I think their expectations have really went sky high since I won the league though. The club world championship is a lot harder than it used to be since the Chinese sides are actually pretty good . I'm usually a massive spender but I always end up with a ridiculously large squad so I'm trying to keep it a bit thinner. Andrew is Mariano ever any good on any of your saves? He's a youth striker from Real Madrid, Burnley got him 2nd season for 1.7m and he scored 23 goals for them in the PL last season, he's has scored against me every time I've played him as well (including a 4 goal performance in a 5-0 drubbing from them). Might be a good buy first season up if he's in anyway consistently like this for Newcastle saves.

Man City refuse to sell Sane to me even though he has played 11 games in 3 years, they keep buying up attacking midfielders like no tomorrow though. I sold Firminho to Man City for 94m as it was a ridiculous bid, I bought Gotze for 40m and Lucas Moura for 18m (transfer listed) with some of the money. I'm in January 2020 now, been chasing a Russian regen CB for a while and saw Man Utd had bid, so I threw in a 27m bid. Mine was rejected and Man Utd's 24m rising to 32m bid was accepted, so I threw in a 34m up front bid and it was fucking rejected. Not sure at all why they'd reject a better bid, it's from Zenit so there should be no reason at all to prefer him to go to Man Utd over my lot. I've always ran into this issue of the comp favoring comp bids but it still pisses me off when you get one this clear. Spurs are still being fucking ridiculous as well, 23 games 1 draw 2 losses so they're 9 points clear of anyone. Oh aye I sold Origi to PSG for 81m and I've been rotating Kuki and Romero up top, Kuki has been doing class. PSG are absurd, they bought Renato Sanches for 83m, Oblak for 35.5m and Danilo for 40.5m in the same window, I looked and they've basically had a net spend of 100m every season. Have 250m transfer budget now but feel the squad is well balanced at the moment as I offloaded Markovic, Wijnaldum and Mane along with Origi and Firminho (I also sold Chirivella for 9m which was a nice bonus) so I might just got this window without spending.

FA Cup 3rd Round - Birmingham City v Newcastle
Howay replied to wykikitoon's topic in Newcastle Forum
Aye to be fair I doubt it was his call, he'd have been in a lot of pain and since he costs a fucking fortune it's better to just stretcher him off when they're unsure of the extent of the injury rather than have him attempt to walk/hobble or whatever else off. As for the oxygen it's just them trying to make him comfortable in all, he may even be squeamish or something. I'm just glad it's not as bad as it first was feared even though it's in an utterly shite place so will require a canny while to heal properly. The result is crap since it forces a replay, I was saying I'd take a loss as it'd get us out of the cup before the game but of course once we kicked off I was only wanting a win and while I think we controlled large parts of the game it didn't sound like we produced many chances. I know it was only predominately our back ups out there but it shows how much we need creative players as we're really just relying on Shelvey and Ritchie. Think Rafa will be rightly frustrated with what sounded like another lapse in concentration by our defence close to half time, they'd been doing a decent job at staying alert at times they were losing concentration earlier on in the season. I'd like to see Elliott get a start in the replay as Sels really doesn't seem worth persisting with, Darlow is better at a similar age and I've not seen or heard anything from Sels to make me think he has a higher potential than Darlow. -

Lapse in concentration by the players, Rafa will be fucking furious. -
The way Trump is acting is just fucking depressing tbh, it was a bit funny at first in a 'this fucking idiot can't keep this up can he?' but now it's just sad that this bloke is actually going to be in charge. I'd often gave him a bit of a benefit of doubt in that I assumed he must have some level of intelligence but I'm at the point where I'm just sick to the back teeth of his moronic tweets and I think the blokes just a total fucking idiot. He wiped off a bunch of Toyota's market cap off the other day when he give them some ultimatum about producing cars in Mexico for the US market, they've said it wont effect production in the US though, even if you agree with him and think all the cars should be produced in the US this sort of shit shouldn't be on fucking Twitter. There has to be a point the secret service or another branch step in and stop him because surely this is going to become a national security issue.

Is anyone able to get to the radio stream on the clubs website? Nufc.co.uk seems to just keep timing out for me. -
You get the first year of payments but then it'll stop, they changed the rules to say that teams that come up and go right back down only get 2 years of payments rather than 3 or 4 ( can't remember how long they normally go).

I'm not being funny here but what did they really expect? Their team has been fucking crap all season and they're playing one of the top sides, aye they didn't expect them to roll over like that but howay they were very unlikely to be watching a win. -

Fabian Delph coming on meaning he's cup tied for the FA cup now, not that it would stop us signing him given the chance mind. -
That's about what it'll look like. I suppose the stadium will be nicer though (Aubemeyang is playing Heaton Stannington there as a warm up for the Olympics if anyone was wondering).

It's about 40m according to this: http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/how-much-aston-villa-parachute-11161706 Which makes sense as it's meant to be somewhere around 55% of the amount PL sides get in the first year outside the league, I'd assume parachute payments only factor in the domestic tv deal and not the various foreign ones.

He's calling it the Great wall as well ffs, what a fucking wanker.

Aye the dressing up and standing on bridges is canny funny tbh. Agreed, she is spot on with her rebuttal to them when she said by wasting time backing utter arseholes like Simpson they take away from the people who are actually being fucked over that they try to help. Even if she hadn't said anything on the matter (and I'm drawn towards taking her word for all of that stuff) how could you wade in and back Simpson up? This is a bloke that was found straddling the woman choking her ffs, I absolutely wouldn't blame her one bit if she was making it as difficult as possible for him. -
Really strong squad that Andrew, good balance in it. I just finished the summer 2019 window, ended up winning the CL and came 3rd. Coric and Horn dropped their transfer demands. I got tons of bids for my players over the summer but they were all shite, the only one of note was 35m for Mane from China but he turned them down. Since I didn't sell some of the players I was expecting too my squad is bloody massive so I've again done a Chelsea and have 20+ out on loan. My squad: GK: Timo Horn / Diogo Costa (got 3 highly rated regen keepers out on loan) RB: Clyne / Passlack CB: Joe Gomez / Niklas Sule / Jonathan Tah LB: Moreno / Ryan Sessegnon CM: Goretzka / Henderson / Grujic / Brannagan / Wijnaldum (about 5 regens between CM and AMC out on loan) AM and wings: Lozano / Bailey / Firminho / Mane / Evander / Kuki / Coric (Emre Mor and Gonzalo Maroni both out on loan) Striker: Origi / Maximiliano Romero (Dolberg, Ben Woodburn, Lautaro Martinez, and Facundo Colidio all out on loan, Colidio is brilliant and was only 8m if you can get him) Origi, Firminiho, Coric, Lozano, Sule, Horn, Dolberg, Kuki and Colidio were all subject to multiple piss taking bids throughout the window. I was almost hoping I'd get a proper bid for some of my players as their replacements I've had on the books for a while are ready to replace them . I've kept the defence pretty good depth wise but midfield and up front needs thinning out.

Aye it's completely unsustainable, especially when you consider they're only allowed 4 non Chinese players each. Surely it would have become a thing where these clubs would try to upgrade on the non-Chinese players they have, which would have probably meant releasing blokes who still had 3-4 years on their massively ridiculous contracts in order to bring new ones in.
