He played Zabaleta in central midfield today, we should definitely hoy in a loan offer for Delph if he's that far down the pecking order.
-
Aye there's no way Ashley would in anyway shake the boat now, the bloke is a total cunt but he knows he needs the club in the Premier League. As I said I wouldn't be shocked if he did eventually return to his previous way but it wont be for at least 2 seasons, he'll want us comfortable in the PL with a squad that looks comfortably then he might start cheapening out.

Everton only had 29% of the ball and 4 shots on target that keeper Citeh have is fucking useless mind.
-
His body language was bad when they went 2 down. Clinical performance by Everton mind, same mistakes from the Citeh players as Stones booted it off Coleman and it fell right to Lookman for the 4th
-
The run and goal by that 18 year old lad for Everton was quality. I was actively wanting Lukaku to leave it so the kid got the goal

Aye always sunny is brilliant. I watched the first two of that new Medici show that's on Netflix, quite enjoyed it after a slightly shaky start where it was jumping about a bit.
-
That's the one I'd forgotten where he'd started.
-
It's an amazing record like, especially when you take into account the long stretches he missed during a couple of bad injuries.
-
Aye that Alli is a quality player, he's still so young as well. Kane is a cracking all round forward. I bet Alli is thrilled big Mike didn't come back with a better bid when he was at Millwall.

Like moss on a rock.

He does look like a hard nut eh. Aye Gayle offers really good movement which is going to be a massive miss (along with his finishing obviously), I suppose we'll get a chance to see if Ritchie can do a bit more with his crossing since he has a bigger target to aim at now.
-
Aye, it's a shame when you think Chelsea have one of the best academies in Europe (won the FA youth cup 3 years in a row and Uefa youth cup 2 years in a row) yet players don't really break through into their first team, they have lads like Loftus-Cheek and Solanke who they wont bother loaning out much (they loaned Solanke out to a dutch side and he got 7 in 25 last season). Surely lads from the youth team could be stepping up but I guess it's safer just to take the money and spend it on a finished product, the biggest issue is they hold onto these lads until they're 23-25 so their progress is really hampered.

I think with it being at the knee it's a hard place to heal since the skin stretches there. I think we can manage with Murphy mind as long as we create chances, it's fortunate that he's had game time and goals recently so we're not calling on him without any matches.
-
Aye especially as teams will know we'll be slightly desperate. We could always look for a loan like Dominic Solanke, recall Armstrong, or just persist with Murphy or Perez up front, at this level if Murphy is given chances he's an ok finisher so with Shelvey back in the side it might not be as bad.

Generic small time football blather thread 2015/16
Howay replied to The Fish's topic in Newcastle Forum
Loftus-Cheek coming on for the last 5 minutes while Chelsea are 3-0 up, it's a good job they aren't going to loan him out to a club he'd play every week as he'd miss vital opportunities like this -
They're saying it's hamstring, Mitro is out for at least 3 weeks so we're down to Murphy really.
-
I'm not worried about getting promotion tbh, I'd just really like to see us win the league. Not that I'm writing off any chance of the teams below catching us for an auto spot but we've rode through a patch of form that will probably prove to be the roughest we'll have all season and have come out 6-7 points clear of 3rd so I'm not overly concerned especially now we have the player our side is built around back. It's good to see Villa still well off the pace as you say, I hope they're down here for yonks.
-
Sadly not, although it sounded a bit bilge anyway. Chuffed to have Jonjo back mind and hope he's back with a big performance against Rotherham.

Hear then mr pedantic

What do they really expect from Moyes though? They had a bunch of players in purple patches that got them to 17th last season, had fuck all to spend, lost a few of their better performing loanees. They were hardly going to be competing up the table ffs, they're this fucking gopping at this point of the season every season it's just the last few years they've wanked off about beating us. The fact they're 1 point from safety is incredible and shows how fucking flukey they are every bastard year, the shit that won't flush should be on their club badge.
-
Credit to Rafa for getting a win under very adverse circumstances. Chuffed to see Ayoze put in a performance. The defence is becoming increasingly frightening to listen to, Darlow had another good game. Hopefully the Gayle and Hayden injuries aren't bad. Couldn't give a fuck about Anita, being harsh on the lad but I'm just sick to the back teeth of watching/listening to Colback and Anita play and the club needs to finally replace the pair of utter cart horses.
-
For fuck sake man we can't do owt easy
-
Need to grind out some wins to win a title mind, massive disruption in the side with all the injuries. Massive credit to Rafa for getting at least a point from this one and Perez motm.
-
How a team as shit as them are still only 1 point from safety is staggering.
