  1. Aye, most insulting things I've ever heard. Especially the Ant and Dec one, not only attacking our well known obsession with messiahs but also having a pop at McPartlin and Donnelly in the process. That city is just one big balloon knot, can't even pick them out as individuals.
  2. "Here we go again" A fucking news paper getting defensive over a fanzine's pop. What a fucking huckle. They should stick to totally not embarrassing articles about what a snoike Delph is.
  3. Expect a Spicer press conference that it's a ridiculous rumour that Trump drinks fight milk within the week, as preposterous as Trump wearing a dressing gown. He doesn't even own a dressing gown, or any fight milk.
  4. Need to give Trump some Fight Milk, take him out of action for a solid week.
  5. That was totally worth being a bellend for the last 3 seasons.
  6. Aye the tariffs are fairly low, iirc they're more a guideline than a rule but they're generally stuck too (as any sort of precedent is). It's a fairly frustrating way of doing it as you can point to people like Sir Johnathan Ive to show non-privileged background isn't really an indicator to future potential but I suppose it's all geared towards "them" ( )
  7. Aye that's awful Renton, sorry to hear that. iirc Compensation is generally based on direct economic loss suffered, indirect economic loss suffered (such as hindering future earnings), or a decrease in standard of life (which is often the case for things like loss of limb or psychological damage). I'm no lawyer mind so as Renton and PL said, seek out some advice (preferably one of those free consultations PL mentioned) to get a better picture. Aye hopefully they get dinged in someway as it sounds like they've been really irresponsible.
  8. Aye, I hope she bounces back quick from it mate. I hope you didn't take what I said in anyway a defence of them (I don't think you did btw), I was more just preparing you for the sort of things they look at in these incidences which (in this circumstance unfortunately) as PL, and Renton also pointed out is actual injury and loss rather than what could have potentially happened. The negligence they have shown is complete bollocks and it's definitely worth flagging up, but like I say from a legal standpoint the fact they've fixed the negligent work may be enough to shield them (I know it's no comfort to you or your family). It's definitely worth going spare with them, take a free consultation just to feel it out but it seems Renton knows this area better than I do. I hope you get something out of it mate, or at the very least the dickheads that done the botch job get some repercussions.
  9. Aye, he's had the best of both worlds really. A productive footy career until 30 and now he's getting into a more long term career. Obviously planned well as the training takes a few year so he's a switched on lad to think ahead, I'm sure most just wait until their footy career ends.
  10. Aye that's the lad. Good job to step into tbh, my mate has been all over the world with it and is on a good wage, good luck to the lad. I think his brother plays in the lower leagues as well.
  11. One of my mates works with a lad who I think just packed in playing for Blyth, Stephen Turnbull iirc.
  12. Aye what PL was saying is spot on, if the injuries are little more than cuts there may not be much compensation to be had. Especially if they have come out and fixed the problem. I'd do what PL is saying and get a free consultation but unfortunately I wouldn't expect loads as these type of things look for actual harm rather than the potential damage that could have happened. Hope your gran is feeling better mind Tom, sounds like it was a scary incident for her.
  13. Brentford go 3-2 up, against the run of play from the sounds of it but only 4 mins of injury time left. Ended 3-3 because of course it did . Still decent for us as it means we're a point ahead with same games played.
  14. Could easily go on to win this now.
  15. Brentford missed a pen earlier.
  16. Who needs experts though?
  17. Watched that War Dogs last night. Thought it was canny tbh, I've enjoyed all the films I've seen with Miles Teller in them (haven't seen that fantastic 4 one ) and I thought Jonah Hill was really good in it. Think it went a bit long really but was enjoyable overall.
  18. Aye it's odd. BBC reckon Brighton are starting to get into it, few more minutes before half time so hopefully Brentford make it to the half.
  19. Absolutely no idea, it's not even on over here. Bein have opted to have a replay of an AC Milan game that was on earlier on tv and have put Serie A fixtures on 4 of their 10 streaming channels with nowt on the other 6 . I really don't get how they pick this stuff, it's the only Championship fixture on right now isn't it?
  20. Brighton 2 down to Brentford in all
  21. I'm amazed every time I see the little twerp, a grown man decked head to toe in club shop clobber. What an absolute throbber he is. I guarantee he has Arsenal wall paper, bed sheets, mouse pad, etc in his room at his parents house.
  22. Agreed, his decision making is one of the weaker points to his game and that's a fairly key part of the number 10 role. I think his physicality and aggressive running would be a help in CM and I saw nowt from his half hour playing there that made me think Colback or Hayden are any steadier in a defensive type of CM role than him.
  23. As I said earlier I think he had a decent but unspectacular first half, held the ball up and linked people up well but didn't get himself in many dangerous areas. His second half (like most the side tbh) was poor though, missed another sitter and had little impact until being subbed off. I like the lad but I doubt he has done enough to convince Rafa to keep him in the side once Gayle is back.
