  1. I've seen one of them and parts of another, they're shite but clearly geared towards kids so I guess it makes even more sense that the person who wrote 50 Shades is a bit off if she's wanting to fantasize about a tween movie. Aye she must be worth a fortune to be fair so good for her, maybe she's realized how bonkers it all is now. I couldn't imagine having to read one of them, the covers on them are enough of a clip.
  2. Aye both those things sound probable. Mackems never have any of it but there's obviously some sort of problem as they way the club is basically in a year round relegation scrap a decade after promotion is ridiculous.
  3. Sounds about right, the sort that think he's so good looking they'd put up with the fact he's a lunatic because they have nowt going on. It would be bad for them if my lass was the target market tbf since we watched it for nowt . I think the lass that wrote it fits that description in all, it was Twilight fan fiction wasn't it? Another steaming pile of shite.
  4. To be fair I'm giving her grief here, I was working on my laptop so said she could whack that on as she's been wanting to see it. I'm obviously going to count this as a movie we watched together mind.
  5. He only turns up against us and we're not there this year. Honestly even if they do stay up will it really matter? They'll be an absolute mess yet again next season. I read somewhere there are serious issues at that club in regards to the players attitude. I've heard off a mate who knows a lad who's mates with Pickford (I know, very large handful of salt needed here) that he's just been chinning pints pretty much the whole time he has been out injured, it wouldn't be entirely surprising if there was truth to it as I've heard similar about Cattermole, Bardsley, etc in the past. The culture gets shrugged off by mackems because they manage to hang onto their league status but the thing is if that sort of attitude is prevalent it is a good reason for why they never kick on.
  6. I'm surprised it got as much as that. My lass was saying the second one is about him trying to have a normal relationship with her, he's such a fucking freak I guess it's difficult for him but I can't imagine how a movie between an awkward, cold, bloke and a ridiculously shy female could be riveting. Aye that was the trick I missed out on. She's been on a bit of a tear recently by claiming all we watch is action type movies (she has a very broad definition of what counts as this) but this was a step too far, the ship is being righted after that shambles. I said I'd go to three films at the cinema that were completely her choice for her birthday a few years ago and she's been milking the hell out of it so I still have one of them (Cinderella and that me before you were the two so far), which she is saving for Beauty and the Beast so at least I know I'm not going to have to sit in the cinema and watch a second version of last nights show. Honestly man that's the thing I kept saying throughout. It was so cold and sterile, it was like Dexter really. The lass in it is canny but everytime he got her kit off it was so cold seeming that it was like watching a bit of meat being prepped at an abattoir, fucking grim. The heffer that wrote it has some serious fucking issues like. No idea how this had such a fuss around it. He does the same sort of stuff in the Fall and they weren't fawning over him. One of the last scenes, oh aye SPOILER ALERT (), is him whipping her and it's probably less erotic than that scene where Rico gets whipped in Starship Troopers.
  7. After yonks of nagging we watched 50 shades of grey last night. Her film picking choices have been revoked for the foreseeable future after that steaming pile. Painfully awkwardly acted, weird considering that Dornan is a good actor but I guess it's difficult when the script is a complete and utter mound of shit. Fortunately my lass thought similar so I won't be subjected to the sequel.
  8. Like a kid on work experience.
  9. And we're getting the leagues top scorer back after a few weeks out injured.
  10. Making America great again. I think it comes from that hot lass that puts up insane rants, she calls everyone a liberal snowflake while taking offence to everything. Of course she's just a lass who was smart enough to realize if she started taking a really conservative viewpoint on everything it would get her way more money and fame than if she tried to be an actual news reporter, I'm sometimes actually impressed at the way she can turn absolutely everything around to being offensive to Veterans, or America (of course she's wrong but it gets the people going!).
  11. "Oh look, dog shit" then he steps in it ffs.
  12. Absolutely fucking disgraceful. He has literally no argument here, even if Nordstrom dropped her due to political reasons they are well within their rights to do so. There is no unfair treatment, she has clearly and obviously come out in support of her father and if Nordstrom don't want to be associated with that it's their call (the same as it was her choice to be out front and centre during her fathers campaign etc, she could have distanced herself if she was really worried about backlash). No doubt there has been a drop in people buying her stuff so I can definitely see what Nordstrom said about declining sales having some truth to it anyway. I can't see how he's going to last the full 4 years if this is the way he's going to carry on. Using the official POTUS twitter to re-issue his ridiculous statement about Nordstrom is a major issue and is exactly the sort of shite people were making a stink about before he got elected that his serial killer looking sons were denying would be a problem. In all honesty I'm just sick to the back teeth of how ridiculous everything is at the moment. The Under Armour CEO come out in favor of Trump calling him an "asset" so one of the star basketball players they sponsor come out and said something along the lines of "I agree with that description if you remove the -et", now all the Trump voters are wanting to buy UA stuff and the people against are wanting to boycott it. It's the same with Budweiser due to their superbowl advert which was perceived as a slight against Trump, the 84 lumber advert, Starbucks, etc. It's just fucking childish and pathetic, it's also rich that the Trump supporters are being so sensitive to any 'slight' against Trump as they spend all their time calling everyone against them liberal snowflakes. The Starbucks thing about how they will hire 10,000 refugees prompted some veteran started coffee brand to go around saying "in response to Starbucks' decision to hire 10,000 refugees we will hire 10,000 veterans and veteran family members". What I don't understand is how the fuck is hiring refugees now a slight on veterans? Everything seems to be a fucking slight on veterans or the police (of course it's always someone else taking the slight on behalf of these people, not those communities themselves), it was also pointed out that Starbucks had already had a big drive to recruit Veterans and their family members a few years ago.
  13. "I don't think Mr Trump has ever even owned a dressing gown"Blatantly one of the photos he has enlarged his hands in btw.
  14. Aye, most insulting things I've ever heard. Especially the Ant and Dec one, not only attacking our well known obsession with messiahs but also having a pop at McPartlin and Donnelly in the process. That city is just one big balloon knot, can't even pick them out as individuals.
  15. "Here we go again" A fucking news paper getting defensive over a fanzine's pop. What a fucking huckle. They should stick to totally not embarrassing articles about what a snoike Delph is.
  16. Expect a Spicer press conference that it's a ridiculous rumour that Trump drinks fight milk within the week, as preposterous as Trump wearing a dressing gown. He doesn't even own a dressing gown, or any fight milk.
  17. Need to give Trump some Fight Milk, take him out of action for a solid week.
  18. That was totally worth being a bellend for the last 3 seasons.
  19. Aye the tariffs are fairly low, iirc they're more a guideline than a rule but they're generally stuck too (as any sort of precedent is). It's a fairly frustrating way of doing it as you can point to people like Sir Johnathan Ive to show non-privileged background isn't really an indicator to future potential but I suppose it's all geared towards "them" ( )
  20. Aye that's awful Renton, sorry to hear that. iirc Compensation is generally based on direct economic loss suffered, indirect economic loss suffered (such as hindering future earnings), or a decrease in standard of life (which is often the case for things like loss of limb or psychological damage). I'm no lawyer mind so as Renton and PL said, seek out some advice (preferably one of those free consultations PL mentioned) to get a better picture. Aye hopefully they get dinged in someway as it sounds like they've been really irresponsible.
  21. Aye, I hope she bounces back quick from it mate. I hope you didn't take what I said in anyway a defence of them (I don't think you did btw), I was more just preparing you for the sort of things they look at in these incidences which (in this circumstance unfortunately) as PL, and Renton also pointed out is actual injury and loss rather than what could have potentially happened. The negligence they have shown is complete bollocks and it's definitely worth flagging up, but like I say from a legal standpoint the fact they've fixed the negligent work may be enough to shield them (I know it's no comfort to you or your family). It's definitely worth going spare with them, take a free consultation just to feel it out but it seems Renton knows this area better than I do. I hope you get something out of it mate, or at the very least the dickheads that done the botch job get some repercussions.
