  1. They were tbf, take away the ridiculous amount of added time off the Leeds game and the two sendings off that were rightly overturned against Forest and we'd have had the title sewn up by now.
  2. Aye I don't see any handball, I thought it was for that little touch by Baker on Knockaert's arm and he had a delayed falling over after the keeper saved it. Absurd decision.
  3. We get a trophy for coming 2nd
  4. I thought Baker was behind Knockaert, then it looked like he touched Knockaert's arm, Knockaert went down as the keeper saved the shot. If it was a handball then I guess it was a fair call.
  5. No way was that a pen like, he'd already fucked his shot up felt the defender touch his arm and took a dive. Would sum the season up referee wise if they won the title like that tbh.
  6. On the upside Moyes has said he's staying, they'll all be raging in mutantville.
  7. It would be like that Stallone film, was it Demolition man? Where he thought he was going to get his end away but she gives him a VR headset, he was fuming.
  8. Aye, Pardew was just happy for the money in his pocket as he had no right to even have a job near PL level after his Southampton debacle so I doubt he gave a fuck or even tried to haggle for transfer money, and Carver is thick as mince.
  9. Don't fuck this up Ashley you chode.
  10. Aye it's a fucking embarrassment. The mackems will rightly have a pop about this but their versions of Darren Curry already undercut that by doing the pathetic plane thing last season, so cheers Darren you've put us on equal levels for this sort of craic, wanker. It's also worth pointing out that even if this sort of thing was a good idea to do, the banner itself is tragic as fuck.
  11. Aye, he's similar to Armstrong for me in that they both have potential and are on low enough wages that it's worth the risk of not getting whatever low amount we'd get for them just to keep them in the hope that they can make it (or resolve their injury problems in Aarons case).
  12. Agreed, we drew with Hull away during a time of fixture congestion with the squad we have now, give Rafa 50m plus to spend and he'd win that game fairly comfortably (we probably deserved to win anyway). I'm not sure what Scoobos is on saying that amount would only get us 2 players, we're not looking for Alexis Sanchez level players. West Brom are fucking wank and they're top half with 44 points, Burnley have survived without spending much and they won less games last season than we've won this season. He was able to bring in players like Ritchie and Gayle as a Championship side, he'd attract some decent talent in the PL and as you say he will be able to take better advantage of his knowledge of La Liga for next season.
  13. I think Gloom is right tbh, they might rate Colback at 4m and De Jong at 5m but I can't see either fetching anywhere near those amounts. I'd hang on to Armstrong, he's done okay on loan in the Championship and could develop into a decent poacher, maybe he wont but I doubt we'd get enough for him now that it wouldn't be worth the risk. I can see Anita being kept on as a squad player and getting a new deal although I'm hoping he doesn't. Sammy is in the 500k range imo. I think Sels will end up back in Belgium for 2m or so.
  14. I'm assuming it was something about the refs support of Hudds. Why didn't they do something to alleviate that potential conflict of interest rather than punish a manager for airing his worry about it? Fucking useless the FA like.
  15. What a gimp, I don't like "united by cancer, divided by leagues" that's just a bizzare thing to say and is just bringing the topic of cancer into a thinly veiled pop at them. The whole this is embarrassing tbh, it was embarrassing when they did it and it'll be embarrassing when that bloke does it. I had a feeling some daft shite from our support would do something like this mind.
  16. The fucking cunts. Hopefully we never have to use it mind.
  17. There's some serious fucking denial going on over there tbh. Listing players like Kharzi, Borini, Kone, Anichebe, etc and saying "they'll all be the best in the division in their positions, Dean Whitehead plays in that league for a play off team ffs". Anichebe's highest goal tally in his career is 6 goals, the other three are complete fucking shite, if they think that rabble will be the best in this league they're in for a fucking shock. The mentioning of their shite ex-players being 'key players' of play-off sides is a common one as well, Bridcutt is Leeds best player and Whitehead plays every week, that'll be a player with 22 starts and one with 10 starts then. Then there's the "the 2nd best side in the league lost to 10 man Hull, that's the drop in quality ffs", the bloke got sent off in the 89th minute, we were away, and it was 0-0 at full time so in a Premier League game we'd have picked a point up, we also had 61% possession and 32 shots. It's also worth pointing out that Conference side Lincoln City beat Ipswich, Brighton and Burnley in the cup, so by that logic Lincoln are better than a Premier League side.
  18. #Neverforget I think more depends on if Brighton turn up, they've played the last two games with a right hangover and if they play similar in this one I could see it being a draw even if Villa are playing in flip flops. He does aye, as Gloom says it was one of them where his next 500 attempts at it will be total shite. He did belt a canny long range shot in the first half that hit the bar iirc. Canny player, shame he plays for them.
  19. Shame for the lad, hopefully he gets the help he needs. Canny player tbh, one I always thought would end up at us.
  20. Hell of a goal by Can there
  21. I think it's a bit harsh on the well performing NUFC to put them in with my display.
  22. Guess it isn't if I edit the title on my phone  This one isn't on me, I blame the people moaning about thread titles. Close this and start a new'un.
