Watched Drive and Chappie on a plane flight recently, really enjoyed both films tbh. Chappie was weird as fuck but it was a canny idea and the right length for what it was imo. I think most on here have probably seen Drive, it was one of them I always wanted to watch but never bothered with and I'm glad I finally gave it a go.

Brighton bought a goalkeeper, Ryan, to replace their keeper that left, Stockdale. Huddersfield have bought a 28 year old Belgian striker, Depoitre, who has a worse record than a 19/20 year old Mitrovic did in the same league and then managed 2 goals in 13 appearances in all comps for Porto. Huddersfield are likely being credited with signing Mooy but I don't think it's a done deal yet and apparently Stoke are after him as well. Hudds are also trying to buy Izzy Brown from Chelsea who they had on loan last season, so they're not exactly making ground on us a side that finished 13 points and a massive GD advantage over them. I'm more worried about other sides than either of them two tbh.

The fee would be a club record which would normally make me doubt the rumour, but honestly our club record fee is canny low considering the fucking mental money thrown about recently. If the rumours about him trying to fight a bit of a power struggle with Rafa over the January window have any truth to them whatsoever then this is good news.

Doesn't really say much about him though does it? Going solely off their international performances players like Gerard and Lampard wouldn't have been rated highly by many. If they're paying installments and they sel him this season they'll carry on paying installments for a player they don't have on their books.

Keepers have been fairly exempt from this sort of thing though, the Buffon fee has been the world record since the late 90's iirc. I agree Sissoko fee was probably more of a joke than this one but midfielders generally go for mental money, as Fulham rejecting £20m for a 26 year old Championship player shows. The Mackems must be buzzing, they'll probably be able to use about £2m of this fee to get themselves a shit player.
