Newcastle United: Club Sold To PCP - Official

He’ll still be coming in to work and crawling under the same desk every day 10 years after the club is sold. It’ll be part of the deal tbh “look afta me ol’ Mucka Lee, ‘ees a sensitive lad and does no ‘aaarm, just likes to ‘ide under his desk, fanks” -

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11678/11087486/kieron-dyer-thinks-newcastle-fans-have-unrealistic-expectations These two wankers man, apparently we all still expect to be a CL team. They go on to say that the club has sky high potential despite saying how unrealistic the fans are being if they ever thought that before then saying we still couldn’t match Liverpool. Tweedle dee and tweedle dum ffs. They played for us at a time the club was in the CL so of course the fans expectations were at that level then, it’s not like we would get in the CL a few times and think “oh there’s nee way we’ll get into the CL, we’re just a mid table team” fucking gimps. I hope we get bought and start rinsing everyone, these two will be the first to parade themselves as former NUFC players and talk about the fans glowingly if we did. -

We can’t be this lucky can we? Getting rid of fat boy and getting in professional ownership with hefty financial backing and getting it all done in time for the January window, the mackems must be buzzing. -

The club would be run much more professionally which is a plus, but as ewerk points out we won’t be getting some oligarch hoying Pogba type fees around if that investment firm buy the club. There’d likely be a lot less risk of something mental happening, Rafa would most likely stay for a while and get a decent level of funding that would have us challenging for domestic cups. Still not believing owt until it happens as most of these articles are likely patched together with guess work after Staveley was seen at a couple of matches. -

Won the Championship so maybe he classes that as winning silverware. Don’t know how to view this tbh, could be a plus as he’s officially saying he wants to sell, or it could be seen in a negative light as he had already made potential buyers sign a non-disclosure agreement so did they pass on the opportunity and now he’s howling it in public? Whatever, just hope he does fuck off. -
I thought Atsu had a good game today mind, agree on Murphy it’s early days still but he doesn’t look like he has much about him. there was one phase of play where he went to beat his man and it was so half hearted it looked like he didn’t even think he could beat him.

Finish the season with the MAG strike force of Messi, Aubemeyang, and Greizmann
-
Had a good game besides the goal as well, made a mug of Van Dijk on the way to almost setting up Joselu for a goal shortly before he scored himself.
-
They’re always annoying pens, it’s not really an equitable outcome to the situation. It’s like the one a few years ago against the mackems where the ball was 30 yards above anyone’s head and flew out of play and the red gave a pen for Williamson tugging someone’s shirt. Similar to ones where the player is running out the box, again all pens but frustrating as fuck none the less
-
Frustrating not to win that, just one sloppy tackle cost us. Southampton are a right bunch of dirty bastards mind. Good game by our lot mind.
-
Good game by Perez that.
-
Fuck off Gabbiadini you chinless little slug.
-
Rafa needs to get Yedlin off for Gamez, this cunt they just brought on is the type that’ll go down if the wind gusts a bit too strong.
-
That Gabbiadini is a right little precious cunt mind, shoving at Yedlin. Hell of a hit by Hayden for the goal, can just sit on the counter now.
-
Both were away with international teams weren’t they? Rafa seems to usually try and only play those that didn’t go away on duty where he can so it’s likely down to that.
-
90th minute Rooooooooooooooooney penalty to get the draw.
-
Aye, I think the point has been made a load to them but it just flies over their head. I’m sure some get it but the sheer weight of morons on that forum bury the ones that get it.
-
Both on there having pops at toon fans in the same way mackems are, and trying to make non-biased points like “you’s will stay up no bother” that are in reality just arse lickey. What’s their end game? For some mackems on the Internet to think they’re sound for mags? Mint, whatever floats your boat I suppose.
-
The class part is they’re now going “aye well we didn’t spend 80m” cracking, you lot keep plugging that line and enjoy League One meanwhile we’ll enjoy the league your lot were wanking like daft over the second we went down “all about the prem marra, lower leagues don’t matter, fizzy pop football league, FTM” aye turah.
-
Aye you’re missing nowt. This match is wank. Evertons drop off shows how good Lukaku is imo, they look so big standard without him.
-
But why would he do that Troop? I personally wouldn’t in his position, he’s getting interest at a price that would see him walk away at a profit. £100m isn’t a great deal to him considering his net worth but not many businessmen in the world would just write that off, it’s still £100m. If you’re wanting Ashley to nearly halve his price to make you more comfortable you’ll be waiting a long time Troops as it’s not going to happen, you’re right that the club would be easier to sell at £129m but that’s because it’s be massively undervalued at that price point. As I say the financial analyst you mentioned is talking out his arse anyway, likely so he could get featured in some sort of interview. I don’t like Ashley but I don’t see him as being particularly unreasonable with the fees quoted. I also agree with Quiff that the higher price point has a better chance of putting off some of the shittier potential buyers. It’s a price where they’d be inclined to grow the club rather than attempt to just hang onto PL status.

On the lines of this topic who the fuck is that mag in peace bloke that’s on their forum? What a little kiss arse he is he put on a recent thread “definitely not going down, comfortably mid table by end of season tbh”. What a dweeb. He’s also completely fucking wrong, there is absolutely no evidence that would back that opinion up. They have 8 points from 12 games, they’d need about 50 points from 34 games to come around mid-table.
-
I’m not sure I’d agree with that analyst tbh. 200m is the sort of money it might have went for before this latest tv deal. 80% of Southampton cost £210m and the NUFC brand is probably more marketable abroad and in the UK as things stand let alone if there was substantial investment. Ashley bought the club for £130m or so 10 years ago, he also has that big loan still owed to him. There’s not a fucking hope in hell of him selling for £200m and I can’t personally blame the bloke for not having that amount as his selling price, if the papers are telling any sort of truth he’s getting interest at £380m or so, which hints he’s not being unreasonable with his price.

I’d always prefer Perez over Diame, it’s now pretty clear Diame doesn’t just look like he’s being lazy. As PL says Rafa is playing Perez for a reason, obviously mostly because the transfer window was a mess but also likely because Perez harries the opposition which is something Diame would never do.
