I love that all of a sudden Mick McCarthy is a fucking hero to them, when in reality they chased him out during their miraculous 15 point season. Spot on, they’ve won about 11 games out of their last 70 or so league games the club is fucking rotten. While they could turn it round by doing things like AH said it’s still a big ask, the most likely outcome at the moment is stabilization in League One unless they get put into administration. I think a promotion bid is a bit much for next year as the group of players they have still think haven’t found their level yet, it’s a real possibility that most of their squad are average League One standard. They keep banging on about how great their youth are but the ones that played this season definitely aren’t Championship level. Coleman is a shit manager as well, he’s not going to suddenly turn it all around and reinvigorate the team next season.

It’s fucking staggering. They honestly think it’s more likely that a group of well respected, seasoned pros, like Evans, Barry etc would conspire against Pardew than the more likely reason that Pardews a poor manager, failed to motivate the group, then apparently set the mood of that trip by going on a bender and losing his stuff the night before Barry and them nicked a taxi. Agree with this, think it’s more important to think about who is more likely to turn it round. I have a real disliking for Wagner, as I think he’s an arrogant cunt, but as Andrew says it’s far more likely Huddersfield will be the goal shy boring side they’ve been again next season than for Southampton to repeat this mess of a season. I think it’ll be WBA, Stoke, and Southampton. I think at the moment they’d need more than a point per game to catch us and we’ll definitely pick up a few more before the season ends.
