Aye, we know enough about him and the buy clause must surely be an amount Chelsea are happy to sell him for so I can’t see us buying him at the end of the loan if we could just sign him permanently now for that price. If Ashley wasn’t a monumental cunt you could make an argument it’s structuring deals so that we can spend more now and buy Kenedy once we get another year of PL money in, but he is so we won’t. I think at this point it’s a bit self fulfilling as well. They know of that reputation and go into it expecting to get steaming and rowdy, so the throbbers end up going mental once they’re fueled up on drink.

Aye I’ve seen this, can’t say I see how they possibly feel wronged. Imo the referee done about as much as he could to have them end the game with 11 men, he also ignored a blatant foul on Lingard which would have been a second pen. They’re just being fucking ridiculous getting outraged about the pen, Maradona saying Kane hooked the blokes arm then went down ffs . I know I’m biased but I just feel they were second best on the day and don’t have much ground to be outraged, not that I’m saying England were outstanding but we definitely deserved to win.

My wife has been getting me to watch it and it’s areet tbf. The bloke with the long hair called Jonathan has a mint thing on funnyordie.com called gay of thrones where he recaps each episode of game of thrones.

Tbf I don’t think England are too bad at creating chances, we created a lot against Tunisia but couldn’t finish our supper that day. Then got kicked into next week by Panama and Colombia so had to rely on set pieces. The Belgium game was the second string for both sides so didn’t say much. If Sweden do look to frustrate I just hope they don’t try and kick England off the pitch, or if they do I’d like the ref to actually take some control of the game. FWIW I still don’t see England winning or owt, I’ve always wanted this tournament to just be an enjoyable one where we played some decent stuff and imo it’s been both of those things. My issue is now all these fucking slugs who ripped England to bits pre-tournament will be jumping on the bandwagon and starting the “we’ll definitely win” craic before going on like they’re the shitest bastards to ever play the game whenever we inevitably lose.

Personally I like watching an England side that can control the ball a bit and don’t immediately panic and batter it forward under the slightest pressure. This England side have been the most enjoyable to watch in my lifetime tbh, probably the most likable too as they seem to give a fuck and don’t let club rivalries stop them from playing together. Not it sure why Noelie thought England didn’t deserve to win, even if you thought we weren’t particularly good I thought Colombia were a fucking joke.
