  1. Be a point off 2nd even if they win their game in hand, this is deeeeeeelicious. If they don’t get promoted they become a proper League One side, from there it’ll be a real struggle to get promoted again. Still they can come come on here and pretend to be Wolves fans saying we’re going to get battered, then still take the high ground after a dodgy last minute goal snatches a home draw “gerrriinnnn marra”
  2. Hit the nail on the head. This Wolves side are massively overrated, spent a fortune on a bunch of fairly mid tier Portuguese players, with a couple of aging Portuguese big names, and you’d think they were quality the way their fan base and element of the press go on. In reality they’re rank average, all teams outside the top 6 are very average and basically all of them could realistically finish anywhere from 7th down. It’s unreal them coming on here trying to big time us as Andrew says 4 seasons in the Premier League total, never in Europe in the Premier League era (no idea about the rest of their history as they’re no marks). They’d have got fucking howked by the team Pardew had and I doubt many here would put that side anywhere near the best we’ve had in the modern era. Look forward to it all ending in tears with notorious utter bellend Jorge Mendes.
  3. Aye utter bollocks by the ref. I thought Almiron was fouled right in front of the linesman and then he kept going even though we’d cleared it 2 times after the 94th minute. Imo it was a foul on Dubravka Boly had his arms wrapped round his neck/shoulder, Dubravka should have punched it mind. Thought Longstaff looked quality. Not quite the hammering the arsehole Wolves and mackem fans pouring onto here thought eh.
  4. Cowgate would be their Tynemouth if it was in the Sunderland area btw.
  5. Nail on the head. Irrelevant club gets a bit of money and is chosen by Jorge Mendes to be the club he camps out at for a bit, so these idiots are now looking for more notable sides to come and have a pop at. None of us would do the same to them because they’re an irrelevant shite club (see fireworks and music to create any sort of atmosphere, 4 seasons in the top flight in the PL era, etc).
  6. It’s going to be great when that Stewart starts giving them grief back. He comes across as a right loudmouth prick, so I don’t see him taking stick off that rabid bunch without firing back.
  7. We beat Man City the game before last. I agree where we are is worrying but we beat City, and came very close to getting a point away to Spurs if it wasn’t for a goalkeeper error. Our next 5 games after Wolves are games we can definitely pick points up in. Tbh I don’t rate Wolves as highly as the press do so I can see us getting something there as well. We could also see Almiron take to the PL quickly and improve our attacking side of play.
  8. It’s staggering they went through the first half of the season, then in January didn’t really bother with defenders and got Ryan Babel.
  9. This bloke man. 1st post: Hi here is my shite pub, please come. 2nd post: your fans are pretty shit eh, a whole 62 seats unsold Then wonders why he’s not getting a thanks for recommending free the pedos pub.
  10. Cheers Andrew. Now those scruffs have been fucked off, I’m going to say I hope we beat these nouveau rich cunts. I’ve always had a strong dislike for Wolves, I’ll always associate them with Karl Henry kicking lumps out of people, plus their club colours are lifting. Now they’ve got some cash behind them they’re suddenly full of themselves, I’m sure it’ll all end really well with Jorge Mendes as we all know he’s such a good loyal bloke. We’ll win 2-0, Almiron to come on and score the second. Nuno Espirito Wanker will whine in the post conference presser after we beat them at their unfilled stadium.
  11. 62 unsold tickets out of the allocation for a Monday night game that’s a decent travel distance, for a club 2 points off the bottom 3 that have an owner who outwardly does not give a fuck, and that’s what you are alluding to as shit support? Fuck off you troll, and take your wank pub advertisement with you. Jorge Mendes rocks up and suddenly they’re arrogant.
  12. My worry was that after this run of games against most of the top sides we’d be getting cut adrift. We’ve come out the other side 5 points clear of the bottom 3 (depending on Cardiff’s game), I’m feeling a lot more confident we will stay up tbh.
  13. That owner doesn’t have the money to bankroll them out the Championship, they’re not a draw TV wise, and sell their tickets for cheap. If they did manage to get promoted they’ll be Championship relegation fodder. The two carpet baggers are just hoping they can get to the Championship and sell for a profit imo, the Will Grigg purchase was them gambling on trying to get back. If it doesn’t work I think they’ll have to cost cut even more and will end up mid table League One. Its got the potential to be fucking hilarious.
  14. Yeah, it’s a bit of a non argument really as those players we had in the Championship are by and large the ones we have keeping us in the PL. While they’re not great, and a club with a proper owner would have improved, they’re better in the PL than Will Grigg is in the Championship. We definitely aren’t saddled with them either tbh, Gayle, Ritchie etc could all be sold for similar amounts they were bought, and we offloaded a lot of the squad players like Hanley etc. Its not like mackems to talk absolute twaddle though is it?
  15. Blew their wad on a League One striker who can’t buy a goal in the Championship. I don’t think they’ll be promoted anyway, look forward to his over the top fee and wages (for a club of their level) being a mill stone around their neck, in season 2 of that Netflix thing they’ll be blaming his wages for relegation to league two.
  16. Aye Andrew is spot on. It’s taken him refusing to sign a deal and basically hinting at walking to get Ashley to do anything, and even then it was done in the final day of the window and he’s taken a loan to cover it in order to further pretend the club has no money (either that or as Isegrim and others have hinted the money has left the club in other ways). Ashley has clearly shown he doesn’t have a shred of ambition to Rafa, there’s no coming back from that imo.
  17. I am in complete shock that Donald has turned out to be nothing but a bullshitter. Who saw that coming?
  18. Aye I think that’s bollocks about Ritchie. The player wanting a move away is Shelvey, apparently he was confident and wanted a break clause put in his lease and the homeowner agreed as long as it could be activated by both. Doesn’t look like he got his move and apparently the person he’s renting off activated the break clause as they wanted him out anyway. Could be bollocks but it’s just what I heard.
