  1. I must admit I’m enjoying all these journos who have no more information than anyone else, making stuff up and then going “it’s a back and forth rollercoaster” meanwhile Bin Zayed are sticking to their claim and NUFC and the PL are holding no comment. The mail have said the PL haven’t received anything, I guess after telling everyone else they won’t comment they decided they had to give the mail a response.
  2. Aye exactly, really on the pulse with this one Luke.
  3. He’s full of shit on this topic tbh. His sources also said Khaled wasn’t related to Mansour and that’s been shown to be bollocks. He might know his stuff at other times but he’s clearly completely in the dark on this story. His last sentence of “Also heard from the PL more on @telefootball later” is click bait.
  4. Btw I love that he had to change it because originally he put that we’d not played at Wembley, when we’d obviously played Spurs there in the only league that matters (RTG circa 2016/17 season).
  5. The no comments are positive. The PL aren’t going to come out and say things as they probably aren’t privy to any NDA’s, there’s also nothing in it for them to announce it. Newcastle under Ashley have hardly been proactive with news have they? Again there’s also nothing in it for Ashley etc to announce it.
  6. According to the Knight Ryder, Chronicle towers have received another massive update from wor Midhat. New statement from UAE: Terms have been agreed between us and Mike Ashley; these terms have been reflected in a document, signed by both parties, which has been forwarded to the Premier League. The so called fit-and-proper Premier League process is a standard procedure which will take time, and we are doing all we can to assist the Premier League during this process. We feel the need to clarify this point in order for the fans and the general public to understand the timelines. Terms have been agreed between us and Mike Ashley; these terms have been reflected in a document, signed by both parties, which has been forwarded to the Premier League."
  7. That’s really fucking weird man, I genuinely thought when i scrolled down the replies would have been saying it was embarrassing, instead it’s “woah that’s class that marra”
  8. Yates’s fully booked out, specially ordered fire place being set up ready for Fat Mike to vomit £350m worth of booze into. Travel lodge notified there will be a group stopping by on Saturday night.
  9. Fucking hell it feels magic that the NUFC fan base had these fucking chancers sussed from the start, even better that it’s only dawning on the mackems now as they have a whole summer of doing fuck all but fume about it as ‘them up the road’ have positive take over talks.
  10. I see Luke Edwards is throwing all of his toys out of his pram as I said yesterday I’d never really seen his twitter before but he’s coming across as a right insufferable bellend.
  11. They can’t even get a PR man that can spin their shit into positivity. I knew it was only a matter of time before them two carpet baggers got sick of the grief off the mackems. A little dig by saying Charlton are a bigger club is a nice way to get back at them
  12. I mean he’s definitely got more insight than I do, I just find it a little odd that his contacts never told him about any of this, but now they’re all really itk. I must admit I’ve not followed him on twitter prior to this, does he always come across as much of a smug prick as he is today or is he just being pouty because he was late on a story and has to fly to Baku? I find it interesting that he’s spelt the guys name as Al Nehayan, rather than Al Nahyan as many other outlets seem to spell it.
  13. Of nowt else we were treated to this incredible opening line on a Ryder article: ”At 16:36pm this afternoon, a statement landed at Chronicle towers from downtown Dubai.”
  14. Aye, that to me is the point the Fenway group were extremely uninterested in selling and if I was buying from them I’d be hesitant to give £25m to a foreign investment bank just to talk as you’ve said.
  15. Aye I must admit it’d be weird enough to do it one time, but to then do it again is even weirder especially as it didn’t really get him that much fame, which is what people usually point to as being a reason for fake bids. I’m going to pack it in with Twitter, none of them were talking about this until Hope brought it up based on not a whole lot and now they’re all regurgitating it. Whatever is the truth the positive is Ashley seems at least willing to accept offers.
  16. Aye, you have to love journalists like none of them had a clue an hour ago, this group releases a statement and the next thing you know Hope knows the whole family tree and who is worth what (despite what he’s saying make little sense if you just google that royal family). It’s pure click bait tbh, now the statement has been issued they have to switch from the “oooOoo is anything actually happening” to “oh turns out he’s a fraud” to keep the clicks churning, Ryder is already running a story about Hopes tweet
  17. Craig Hope wanting to piss on everyone’s chips:
  18. Aye because this bloke is going to be really concerned about money from turnstiles ffs.
  19. If this goes through the 2019-2020 transfer thread is going to be fucking mental
  20. Neither has Jack Ross tbf, he’ll have to go along to his local park run to find some lads that can run about a bit.
  21. Could you fucking imagine losing to Lee Bowyer’s Charlton Athletic 6 seconds from the end resigning you to the third tier for at least another year, then on the same fucking day the mackems get bought by a bloke who is one of the heads of a family worth £150bn. That’s where they are right now. Going to take a lot of blue pop to make some nonsense up about NUFC now.
  22. Aye I’ve seen that as well. They’re forgetting Moshiri is a fucking dick head, this bloke will have learned from what his cousin has been doing at City. As you say he’s not going to want to be second fiddle to his relative.
  23. Perez and Shelvey must be rethinking their whole pushing for a move elsewhere stance.
  24. Reporting on the statement by Bin Zayed: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48420387
