  1. As you say his record speaks for itself, and bringing on a bloke who has been at the club about a week against Arsenal, speaks English as a second language, and then deciding a minute later to make him switch positions completely sums up why he has such a shit record. Fucking numpty. See that ASM has a hamstring injury, we can expect a big uptick in injuries under Bruce, another thing Rafa did well was reduce the amount of muscle injuries.
  2. Agreed, not saying no one else on your list wasn’t btw just those are 2 approached before Bruce that I’m confident we had approached.
  3. I’m confident that Arteta and Vieira were approached as someone that I don’t doubt had told me about it, but I don’t know if the rest were.
  4. He’s honestly going to act like a Premier League football team in 2019 cannot afford a swimming pool? £5m-£10m doesn’t tend to get a good player these days but would massively improve the training and youth facilities. I’ve said in the past that his lack of interest in developing youth is illogical when compared to his usual stance of trying to profit. I know he’s impatient but when you look at a deal like Carroll, and the offer Man Utd gave for Longstaff it shows how much profit could be made and it’s one less first teamer he doesn’t have to buy until they do leave. If you have a good youth set up you can often shift players on for a few million quid to lower league sides which would probably cover the cost of running the academy anyway. But we’re 12 shit years into this idiots ownership and he’s clearly not fucking arsed, he’ll just keep trying it the way that’s got us relegated twice.
  5. I’ve been told by someone I fully believe that he’s been doing exactly that. The rumours about him speaking to Vieira and Arteta are true, it put Vieira off but Arteta still wanted to come but couldn’t get the coaches he wanted to come with him. I also heard he spoke to some of our transfer targets one of them was a full back from France who was supposedly close to signing then opted out. No surprise mind, you can’t treat someone like shit for 3 years and expect them to act in your interest.
  6. Aye ffs I hope that’s a staged pic the lads still crying.
  7. Aye I can also see there being a fair few goals, our lot will likely be a bit more attacking and open than under Rafa so will concede more, and on the other side they’ve decided to pair Mustafi with David Luiz
  8. Are they honestly going to make people say that ffs.
  9. I see their goalscorer takes his name from the area between your balls and arsehole. What a tragic football club they are.
  10. I’m really fucking confused by the “I know we define you” opener I genuinely never think about them. In fact Quiff just mentioned Allardyce connecting the mackems and Everton and it took me a second to remember why as I’d genuinely forgot he was even there
  11. That was canny confusing. So it was a mackem pretending to be an Everton fan? He needs to update that name seeing as they were below Benitez’s team for 2 out of his 3 seasons. They’re also 2 divisions lower than a Brewcey team marras. If it was an Everton fan he’s right they are above us, the most ambitious Everton owner in the modern era and barely that far ahead of by far the worst, least ambitious owner in ours. Well done to them. Mackems and scouse mackems, a match made in an incestual hovel.
  12. It’s wank tbh. I get it has growing pains so it may improve but personally I don’t like having any of these pauses which take a lot of the passion out of goals. Totally understand people having different opinions on this but I’m more than happy to accept some human error to keep the game fluid, and allow for a little leeway so we don’t get the thickness of Raheem Sterlings shirt sleeve being the difference between a class goal counting or being ruled off. Saying all that the “but he was offside” crew on Twitter can do one, they know what people are saying when they take issue with this, it’s more so we should scrap it and accept some wrong decisions or the rules have to change to avoid something that creates literally no advantage whatsoever from being a problem, rather than anyone disagreeing that by the letter of the law he was off.
  13. Aye the examination for Sterlings goal man, then actually using VAR to see if Mahrez being booted over was a pen ffs.
  14. You’d have thought they would have got them out on loan or something. Are they eligible to play in the cups? If so I’d expect to see them as we yet again throw away the chance of getting past the 3rd round of both.
  15. I can’t help but feel we’re looking really light in centre mid. Longstaff and Shelvey are both pretty attacking, we basically only have Hayden who I guess could play the holding role, there was an article saying Bruce doesn’t want Colback (understandable), Ki I guess could fill in at DM but again it’s not really his role. Unless we are going to set up with Longstaff and Shelvey with Almiron ahead of them playing off Joelinton but it seems a bit too aggressive for the level we are.
  16. Aye after the initial 6 month loan he was fucking dreadful last year. Iirc he had statistically the worst game in PL history early on in the season something like no completed passes, every shot off target, then a red card.
  17. He’s set to start banging them in like he was doing when he left, just took the 9 or so years since off.
  18. “Chronicle snapper” What a wanker Ryder is.
  19. I just think our luck depends a lot on the front 3 which are all fairly unproven. I think Longstaff will start well and the Manchester United link will continue until they get him in January.
  20. I hope his decision making on the pitch is better than what he applies to his fashion choices
  21. They’re hoping we’ve all forgotten the Perez money.
  22. Would basically pay off the fee they’ve spent on Joelinton. So I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to do it the fucking mugs.
  23. Never seen him play but his Championship record looks canny, so he’ll be handy for the 2020/21 season.
