  1. Still fucking crying about this. It starts in Newcastle and remains very close to Newcastle city centre, who the fuck says it is always “a celebration of the north east”? Also, currently the club is the best of the north east, what Howe did last season was incredible. They’ll try and fucking lay claim to fucking anything that lot Genuine question but how long do the mackems think they can act so weirdly hostile and obsessive about all things Newcastle and not start to be distanced from events?
  2. Aye they’re racist as fuck, literally trying to take moral highground while calling Saudi Arabians “camel humpers” among other things. Hilarious that when we were in the Championship the mackems told us the PL is all that mattered in football, now they’ve been out of it forever the PL isn’t something to be a part of and lower league footy is proper football . Aye sure lads, carry on tossing off over your amazing youth talents that are in medium demand from sides like Burnley and Stoke.
  3. “yi wouldn get tha’ at t’rugbeh ah says yi wouldn get tha’ at t’rugbeh”
  4. Aye they’re fucking off their rockers. Constantly acting like they’re some suffering fan base, despite still picking up trophies and CL finishes. I saw a bunch whinging that they ended the game with a back 4 of Dalot, Maguire, Evans, Wan Bissaka, ignoring that it’s basically 3rd/4th choice in some spots and cost £150m to assemble.
  5. This is a good point iyam. just staggering levels of delusion
  6. Ten Hag also seemingly a shit man manager to go alongside the fact he’s a shite tactician and judge of player.
  7. Man U get a goal chalked off for offside and then Rice scores an injury time winner. Class.
  8. Swapping places for our Almiron criticism. Aye I’ve always worried Howe has been very conservative/slow to bed players in when sometimes you really should just throw players in. Obviously he’s a top football manager and I’m not so his way has worked up to now, but I do think he got it wrong playing Targett - Hall or even Lascelles were the better options iyam. My biggest complaint with Burn is that the team is so unbalanced with him at left back, the left winger is so isolated at times and it leads to this over reliance on the right with so many chances falling to Almiron. Really hoping Hall brings balance to the build up play. I’m a fan of Bruno but do worry he’s been caught up a bit too much in all the hype, he has to know due to the project we have he was always going to be one of many stars rather than the big star in the pond but he seems to be struggling a bit with that.
  9. It’s early doors but this Liverpool v Villa game is making me feel better. Liverpool are all over Villa whereas when we played them we largely controlled the game, really hopeful we see a reaction against Brentford and that Brighton was just a massive off day for us.
  10. I have thought Tonali coming in has unsettled him a bit, his nose seems a bit out of joint at not being the big dog or main man in CM and I feel that’s why he keeps relentlessly trying these Hollywood passes rather than just playing it simple. He’s clearly an emotional player and needs coached to channel that a bit as I do agree he’s let himself become too involved with social media where the reaction simply isn’t rational. I’d prefer we moved him up to 8 and tried Longstaff at 6 as I feel he’s a bit wasted at 6 and clearly is overstretching himself rather than playing the role. I’ve mentioned before I know a club scout and from what I’ve heard Howe has been adamant Bruno is a 6 despite them identifying and bringing him in as an 8 (the games we scouted him where he played 6 he was subbed off every time), which is why we didn’t get a 6 this summer. Hoping it’s a bit of bitter bullshit tbh as I really don’t think Bruno suits the defensive midfield slot.
  11. Aye, I mean the easy approach and the one a lot of our fans are hopeful of is to just do a remake of the ‘96 kits. As you say though they’ll not do that, so it’ll probably be met with immediate negativity . I don’t buy them so I was always more bothered about getting a big chunk of revenue anyway instead of the tenner a season we get off these Castore clowns.
  12. It’s a long season and we’ve plenty time to make up ground, I think Man U started last season with as few points and finished third. My worry is we’re not performing like we have under Howe up until this season, and the new signings haven’t really had much impact yet. Definitely agree that the Joelinton - Willock connection on the left was really good at times last season. I like the Livramento signing as I rate him but it’s unfortunately a long term signing that will cost us in the short term, if we’d have got Alvarez or Sangare instead of him I think we’d look more solid. Time will tell I suppose.
  13. Agreed, I’d rather try Tonali at 6 or play Longstaff there rather than drop Bruno. Joelinton isn’t positionally strong enough to play 6 (since he’s pretty new to CM play), so I wouldn’t play him there. I’d like to see Barnes start, with Gordon on the right and I’m really hoping we see Hall start LB after the break otherwise signing him was a bit of a waste in the short term.
  14. What’s interesting with the constant false morals we’ve seen on display from the football community regarding SA is then we regularly see stuff like the above. Fan bases that are supposedly outraged by SA using the vile acts of SA in a joking manner. The mackems are one of the biggest culprits of this.
  15. He’s been wanting in all aspects of his game for pretty much his whole career tbh. He runs about which people love but doesn’t really ever win the ball back, Murphy is better at closing down and creating turnovers imo. Personally I’m tired of watching Almiron play, we’ve seen him for about 4.5 year and even during his purple patch of goals I thought his all round play was still poor. I was really hoping we’d replace him this summer but instead Eddie Howe’s nephew got his way and we got a back up for Gordon.
  16. He was definitely wanking while he tweeted that the negative little cunt.
  17. Aye I mean I’ve never been a fan of Almiron but it’s time he was dropped. He runs but never wins the ball, he can’t pass, is poor at shooting, often makes the wrong pass or decision. I don’t blame him for today mind as it was woeful from everyone, prime suspect was Matty “I need 8 touches to control the ball” Targett. I still cannot get over the first goal, Pope and Tonali had a fucking mare but then Targett just walked away from Ferguson if he had stood still Ferguson wouldn’t have had the chance tbh.
  18. Aye, I’m more concerned about our level of performance rather than the points mainly our complete lack of pressing and aggressiveness. We look slow, tired, and sloppy so far this season, even the first 25 minutes or so against Villa was that way. Not sure what the solution is but hopefully Howe can figure it out and address it as like you say our next 10 or so league games are very winnable.
