  1. Can’t wait to hear how Pogba is to blame for Rashford missing that penalty once this match ends.
  2. I’d put Chopra above him in the listing now, Chopra did have a hand in brokering the biggest deal in Cypriot football history recently.
  3. We haven’t completed a pass in the opposition box so far apparently
  4. He probably did stride in knowing full well most of the questions were going to be soft as they would be coming from arse lickers like Ryder.
  5. I mean it’s an investment group supposedly buying a percentage of the club. Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum will still be running the shit show. “multi-disciplinary investment strategy focused on maximizing long-term capital appreciation by making investments across the globe in the debt and equity of public and private companies, real estate and other asset classes.” - So they’re not going to be pouring money in like the mackems think.
  6. I heard a pundit say that after only two games Bruce and NUFC are already falling into the tropes of a side that goes down; manager regularly announcing rallying cries, disorganized line up, manager having a go at the players attitude and application. I knew he was going to be shite but I didn’t think he would be as hopeless as he’s been so far. Putting the fact we lost both games to the side, there was nothing at all in those losses you could point to as a positive that would help turn things around.
  7. Tbf it’d still probably be better than Bruce’s formation/tactics.
  8. Aye Spurs will batter our absolute shower. Going to be giving this one a miss tbh.
  9. Aye exactly, I expect they’ll hang onto him just like they did with McLaren which will basically mean we’ll be relegated by that point and whoever they pick out of Moyes, Allardyce, and Hughes won’t be able to stop it.
  10. We won’t have to worry about VAR in our games next season will we? Think it’s still a way off being implemented in the Championship.
  11. There was a bit of a spark under Benitez but it’s not bollocks at all to say people have been stopping caring over time. My dad and grandad both gave up their season tickets before Benitez came in because they were sick of Ashley fucking on with the club and had lost interest, Strawb literally just wrote a post about how he has lost interest over time with a little bit of a spark under Benitez. You’ve also just liked a post by Alex where he is talking about how people have been becoming apathetic over years due to Ashley. I’m also not sure what the people in the stadium celebrating or the quality of the Man City team have to do with my point.
  12. Aye the new hand ball rule is a crock of shit. I don’t understand why they have to keep changing everything , then anytime anyone questions a new rule all the zany cunts on Twitter leap down their throat about how it’s advancing the game, simply changing a rule isn’t advancing the game especially a one as shite as this new handball rule.
  13. Spot on. As much as it’s crap having your whole day ruined by a shite match, you had the days where you’d be buzzing after a class one, but as you say the point where many of us are now we get neither. I really don’t get why I watch the games anymore, not only are they dreadful to watch but I barely care, I felt nowt watching Norwich burst us, and I’d not have gotten much excitement out of us battering them. The worst thing this horrible fat worm has done is cause what I expect is a good chunk of our fan base to not give a fuck anymore.
  14. Shock that Toontastic favorite Luke “the helmet” Edwards is digging out fans, and calling it a meltdown over the result. It’s not like Steve Bruce has decades of managerial failure people can point to as to this being an ongoing outcome is there...
  15. We’ll be the punching bags this season, but if your team can keep playing the way they did today they’ll stay up comfortably. To be fair to Joelinton he’s been given absolutely no chance with the policies at the club, you shouldn’t be relying on a 22 year old lad who scored 7 Bundesliga goals to adapt to the PL and score enough to keep you up right away, but that’s Mike Ashley always happy to gamble. Nice of you to say we’re too big for the Championship, but to be honest under Ashley we’re not and it’s probably where we should be. I think we’ll come 20th, from having seen the performances of teams people had pegged as being likely to come 20th (Villa and Brighton) we’re behind them performance wise going off the first 2 games imo.
  16. Advocated giving Bruce a chance, that chance was a whole 90 minutes.
  17. I hope Jonjo has a goal bonus in his contract. Nice extra kick in the teeth for Ashley at the end.
  18. “The most worrying part is his team aren’t even putting in effort, there’s been a real lack of effort from too many Newcastle players” - we’re two games in were we also not told by all these MINT journos that the players all really love Bruce and there’s going to be loads of effort?
  19. May as well get his tenure at the club out of the way now, maybe he could do Dec-Feb then we can get Hughes in to finish the implosion.
  20. Tbh we’re better off in the championship under Ashley. It cuts him off from the PL money, he won’t be cheap enough to get us relegated from that as then the worth of the club nosedives, and we might actually see some okay football. Not saying I’d rather be there under other circumstances or that it’s ‘proper football’ like the mackems bang on about, it’s just under Ashley we won’t even pay the going rate to compete with bottom half PL sides.
  21. He’s going for the express variety, and chosen well as he can try to play it off as factors beyond his control in order to land another potential destroy and exit before Christmas. It’ll be a fucking Bumper year at the British managers club feast.
  22. The most embarrassing bit is Norwich haven’t even broken a sweat in this match. We’ve not created anything at all and they’ve score basically any time they’ve really tried.
