  1. https://x.com/deadlinedaylive/status/1703355552925897075?s=46&t=ytLiTTx5wmuNZJztyLjiJg I know this is most certainly bollocks but I’m pretending it’s happening. A 6 should be the priority in midfield if we are signing one
  2. So from the sounds of his post the PL is far better to watch than the less skillful less talented version. There’s also not a single chance the game is faster at that level and anyone that says it is simply doesn’t understand the game .
  3. This is why I say it was a pen btw. As last season we were told by the whole media that Burn had his arm in an unnatural position as it was high, it blocked a chance etc. now I’m hearing similar voices in the press saying it would have been harsh. Either stick to the rule or fix the rule, increasingly growing bored of the inconsistency and poor standards.
  4. I don’t jump with my hands up like that tbh, his arms are above his head and they have no need to be. I still go back to he had his hands in a high position needlessly, blocked a clear goal scoring opportunity. People say it’s harsh to their player but it’s also harsh to us. Plus as I say Burn conceded a similar one last season to this lot. Also funny the logic wasn’t extended to the position of Wilson’s arms for the ruled out goal.
  5. Disagree tbh, Gordon had put himself in the way and in a position to keep the ball in play the keeper just wiped him out. I’d be fuming if our goalkeeper went in like that when there was no need whatsoever.
  6. But the player has his arm in an absurd position for me, you shouldn’t be raising your arm above your head like that as it’s always a risk. It might be harsh in that the ball come from behind but he’s blocked what probably would have been a goal, or at least a clear goal scoring chance, with his arm which to me is harsher. Similar was given against us iirc last season against this team when Burn had a handball.
  7. Not sure I follow why some are saying the pen was harsh? It was a stupid and rash play by their keeper, Gordon got to the ball and was going to keep it in play before he was wiped out by the keeper. Stone wall penalty imo, there’s an argument over the second (even though for me it’s still a pen, regardless of people calling it harsh I’d argue it was harsh on us since the ball was blocked from going to Wilson who would have probably scored) but I can’t see anything soft about the foul on Gordon - it was stupid by the keeper who had lost control of his slide a goal kick would have been ridiculous given we had the ball and a keeper way out of goal.
  8. He should stick to his whiteboard the long haired geek. His side got away with fucking murder today.
  9. Aye, it would have been harsh but for me it’s the rule. He had his arm up, if he hadn’t blocked it the ball was going right to Wilson who had a free shot from 6 yards. Also can’t say I’m in any charitable mood to Brentford as for me they’ve escaped at least one red and had a goal unfairly ruled out in their favor. All while they’ve kicked us up a height and dived, while their bellend manager has played checkers on a white board.
  10. Pawson helping break down our attack because a player clearly dived after having his chest grazed by an elbow. What an absolutely shocking display
  11. Pawson is a disgrace mind. He’s turned a blind eye to them hacking us down all game and then overturns our goal for no reason whatsoever How can he claim Flekken was stopped when he literally threw an arm to punch the ball he just missed it completely? Then the farce debating the pen, this idiot of a keeper just completely wiped Tony out. Absurd performance by Flekken and Pawson.
  12. I hope you’re right. Just the most worrying part is we’ve went from looking like one of the fittest and aggressive sides to this, hopefully it all settles and we see more signs of our style but currently we’ve lost our identity imo.
  13. Clear foul on trippier and Norgard should have been off. That’s about 5 clear fouls he’s missed. I’m a bit confused by our play so far this season, since Howe come in we’ve been an aggressive high press side that bullies teams and now we look so passive and second to every ball. Has he changed our style thinking it would be too many games for it? We look a shadow of ourselves compared to last season.
  14. https://x.com/Casey_Evans_/status/1702685431144362482?s=20 The bloke is such a fucking cunt .
  15. Apparently since he left Leeds Kalvin Phillips has started as many games for England as he has for Man City . Fucking staggering he keeps making squads, along with Harry fucking Maguire
  16. Is there anything else that happens in or around Newcastle that should actually be happening in Sunderland but corruption, or a shadowy cabal of businessmen stepped in? The hoppings maybe? Maybe even NUFC games? It’s staggering that somehow every event and celebrity with anything to do with Newcastle should in fact be connected with Sunderland . It’s such a fucking weird obsession they have, it’s like a Newcastle fan hearing about Jordon Henderson and going “actually he’s a proper Geordie through and through” who gives a flying fuck?
  17. He clearly can’t afford the drip tray pint, it’ll be cans of Kestrel extra strong and a nice bag of glue to sniff for Qwerty.
  18. They can’t be serious like. The fucking clip of that bloke doing that to Howe, at a charity run with kids around too never mind it’s sad as fuck regardless of the setting. Those stories are brutal as well, the one about £20 for the DJ was so pathetic even the other mackems were calling it out. Shows how little they have going on I suppose if they have so much free time they can go into a shop and have a random lass look for a dvd with a fake name, by himself no less . Mint fucking banter lads.
  19. Aye I doubt it’s necessarily that he won’t play there, it’ll more likely be assurances that we will go and sign an actual holding midfielder so this truly is a temporary position for him and not the long term plan.
  20. It’s very odd that a manager they’ve told us is fucking shite since he got the job gets so much obsession and hate from them. Has the bloke even mentioned them yet? They genuinely just hate him for doing his job well, and yet again proving they don’t have a fucking clue who is a good manager and who isn’t (see their hatred for Moyes and obsession for fat Sam as another example). Imagine if he went on about them the way their managers and owners quite regularly bleat on about NUFC
  21. What a bunch of fucking idiots. Glad he called Pearson out who was slyly hiding in the background filming the sorry episode and then rushed to upload it all to embarrass the fan base, thick cunt.
  22. The unamortized amount of his transfer fee is then amortized over the life of the new contract, so it would reduce the impact his original transfer fee has each year. But yeah as you mention the wages part of his impact would increase. So if a player cost £50m and had a 5 year deal he’d be £10m a year, if they signed a new deal after year 3 for 4 years the £20m unamortized amount would now have a £5m a year impact. It’s why Chelsea randomly added a one year extension to Enzo Fernandez’s contract shortly after he’d signed an 8 year deal.
