Another special day at Anfield after Liverpool Football Club come from behind after some team they had to play had the audacity to go one up. We’re paying Colback, who isn’t even registered, nearly double that apparently. It’s a very reasonable wage for a fairly regular squad player for a PL side ffs. According to Hope Bruce has told Matty to put football ahead of money, the kid is asking for pretty much the going rate for a player of his current stature and it’s definitely not a wage which the club would struggle with. If they were to buy Bentaleb to cover for Matty leaving it’d cost far more in wages, never mind having to also pay a transfer fee.

Aye, if Southgate keeps selecting Pickford he’s doing exactly the thing he said he’d never do which is picking the names and his favorites. Both Pope and Henderson have been miles better.

The issue we will have against them is they can both score goals, the pair of them mostly fall down in games because they let loads in despite scoring. So since we can’t fucking score and our defense as a unit is looking worse the longer the season goes on I’m not confident we’d be able to get anything out of sides like that.
