  1. Aye, I also don’t see how blocking it on those grounds would help their cause. If anything, if it was true, they’d double down on it. They’d need a pretty solid case to block a deal over a link which the Saudis have successfully disproven in a court, it’s not just the Saudis the PL would burn here they’d be blocking Ashley from £300m which he is likely going to use to buy up SD shares, so I can’t see it being something he’d sit back and accept.
  2. I also don’t understand all these journalists running stories about rival PL clubs opposing it. They surely cannot have any say, otherwise you’re allowing them to have a say in the future and ability of a direct rival.
  3. Ffs now because the mackems are a bunch of desperate for a football friend losers our lot are getting harassed by Bundesliga clubs.
  4. Aye it’s becoming pathetic now. This is all just Bein being manipulative and trying to have the deal stopped. If the deal is blocked on these grounds the PIF can use the prior court case which they won to overturn the ruling, going off how Cellinio used his Italian court appeal to overturn his rejected PL test.
  5. I mean it’s a little shambolic if it does. Surely this isn’t some new document, therefore whoever has submitted it has held on to it for weeks and has submitted it in the week the deal was supposedly going to be ratified?
  6. They won a court case over the supposed link, the channel BeoutQ was also shut down last year. I’m not sure how they could have strong grounds to reject a £300m deal over what are essentially previously rejected accusations about a closed down piracy channel. I also really don’t see how it would be in the Premier Leagues interest to reject it, the league is going to see a considerable cash injection at a time many clubs are struggling for cash, the rights will then also go for a greater sum when they next go up for bid.
  7. Zany club twitter account admins. The special relationship shite the mackems wank on about is pathetic tbh, shouldn’t they also be pairing with a side in 3. Liga?
  8. So no different to the prior 67 years the bitter little tramp. A town of fucking losers.
  9. I love his idea that if the PL accept the deal they won’t ever be able to fight piracy cases in court hairy little cunt has no knowledge whatsoever of law. The bit he’s missing is the PL win if they accept this deal, the Saudis have already shut down BeoutQ and it’s nailed on they’ll bid for the Middle Eastern rights when it goes up for bid in 2022, likely paying more than Bein paid. Of course he’s going to pretend that makes the PL the bad guys here because the awful cunts who pay him lose out to another bunch of awful cunts. He’s just a hairy little irrelevant idiot lashing out as his gravy train is going to be stopping once Bein lose the rights.
  10. That tweet is spot on, they deserve and should get no sympathy from our lot. They reacted in a truly pathetic way last time we went down, and milked it to a ridiculous point “well weeeyah still one playyce above yas” when they were rock bottom and we were top after most the season. I’ve seen a lot on Twitter giving them sympathy, saying it goes further than football with the owners, it’s bad for the North East etc, at no point have they ever offered even a glimmer of sympathy about Ashley completely taking the piss out of NUFC or its fans, in fact as the tweet above shows when we hit our low point they doubled down, they were wishing insolvency on us, relegation to League One etc. Just think about what they would be like if the current situation was reversed (it would never be mind, no one like this lot would buy that shit little club). They can go fuck themselves, that shit club is finally where it, and their minging small minded support, belongs.
  11. Personally I now think they’re as brilliant as all the mackems thought they were.
  12. Brilliant. I love the “time to sell up Donald” comments, who the fuck do they think is queueing up to buy a third division club with a constantly increasing debt?
  13. They’re definitely a classy bunch. It’s football for fuck sake.
  14. You get the sense it’s going to get very racist on RTG when the takeover goes through.
  15. Aye, I think if you go that route it makes more sense to only promote the ones in automatic places. They’re probably trying to cover all their bases and make as many happy as possible, as the team in 3rd would possibly argue they were close to 2nd, but tbh then 4th will have the same argument, so who knas.
  16. “Remember he is a fan” That club cost him a fucking fortune. So they want the bloke to come back and bankroll them right out his pocket, again. That’s exactly what they accuse United fans of wanting Ashley to do if we say the club should spend what it generates. They ripped into our lot when we were all saying these two were a pair of chancers. Best get used to them as the Don will own them for yonks.
  17. Aye the East stand is the problem, wasn’t there once plans (by Shepherd iirc) to build a big stadium on leazes park, and turn where St James’ is now into the park?
  18. So they’d finish 8th. I wonder if they’re still going to be ‘a scalp’, and ‘everyone’s cup final’ in League One season 3.
