So the plan seems to be to flog Longstaff to interested clubs supposedly like Everton and Southampton to bring in Hamza Choudhury on loan, the interested clubs being the type that will be competing higher up the table than us isn’t a red flag at all to Bruce. Fwiw Bruce gets nothing out of Longstaff, but to replace him with a loan signing is more just year to year patch work to the squad, exactly the sort of shite the mackems used to do when they were circling the drain.

Ritchie is frustrating as fuck too, runs about kicking people then screaming at anyone else that happens to be near him, then just blasts any ball that comes near him into the stands. We’ve had these players for fucking years and they’ve had pretty much little to no competition to their places in that whole time despite them always being borderline good enough.

Shelvey got booked for exactly the same thing. It’s about as clear a booking as you could get tbh.

I’ll have to defer to you on that, I remember seeing Souceks head leaning over the 6 yard box line whereas the Newcastle players weren’t. For me Bowen should count as offside, he’s right there even if he doesn’t touch the ball before it goes in he’s got to be playing some part in the mind of the defence. regardless the pen decision was dreadful.

VAR is such a waste of time, how do they ignore the clear offside in the lead up to the incident? If applied properly that soft as fuck pen incident wouldn’t have happened due to Antonio being clearly offside. I have a commentator that was saying before he hopes the Newcastle fans dont expect Willock to keep up the rate of scoring he ended the season with . To be fair if we had a CM who managed 38 in 38 we might be the CL team we all apparently think we should be every year.

It was shite decisions to get rid of both tbh. Obviously with hindsight it looks worse but even at the time the youth coaching staff rated both highly and advocated they get chances, they both did well out on loan, albeit in the lower divisions but you’d still want to give them a chance or hold on to them for a few more loans. Both will fare better than Joelinton tbh.

These quotes and that Willock one about wanting him on loan then going above and beyond to sign him are further examples of why this rancid cunt can fuck off. Do we actually have a 25 man squad, or is he including 4 goalkeepers and a few youth players that probably aren’t good enough in that number? I don’t want to hear any excuses about lack of quality, thin squad, or anything of that nature from Bruce or his wine and chicken fucking defender Edwards.

I read somewhere he wants similar pay with ASM and Jonjo, so £80k a week range, which for a 25m signing that’ll start every game and the club have effectively painted themselves into a corner and are fucking desperate for him it’s not a shocking demand. I can’t see us getting him now tbh, the reason it’s took this fucking long to get to this point is after Arsenal demanded 25m we’ve spent the summer trying to get them to budge before eventually folding, it’ll be a deadline day signing if it even happens.
