  1. He offers far more than Almiron for me. Should have had 2 assists but denied by some poor finishing, took his goal well, and the main difference is he actually tackles and wins the ball up the pitch rather than just pressuring.
  2. Aye, from what I’ve read it could be an 18 month or so ban but may not go through until December time. Hopefully we can either sue Milan, or appeal to the FA/UEFA to have Tonalis FFP impact withheld until his ban is finished then we can go and buy a CM in the January window. It sounds like Milan knew btw, apparently Tonali was considered a no go until right before we moved for him when Milan were suddenly happy to sell. The major headache this causes for us (aside from losing the player for a while) is it tied up FFP.
  3. I think there’s an agreement under UEFA rules that one countries FA bans would be upheld by the other nations FA’s, so if he gets banned by the Italian FA the English FA would similarly ban him.
  4. I for one am absolutely shocked the mackems are using recent tragic events to point score, not just that but making sweeping generalizations and massive assumptions to make those points. They must all be absolutely buzzing now they think they have cover to be racist as fuck openly. The Saudi takeover was simultaneously the best and worst thing to happen to them.
  5. Aye, we’ve all said it before but fucking what a brass neck they have to call NUFC fans deluded. I suppose that sniffer forgets Longstaff had serious interest from Manchester United at a similar age to Dan Neil, Jack Clark, and whatever other super duper wonder kids they have. In contrast there’s been no interest in Neil, and so far Clark has interested Burnley. Keep in mind they’re both similar age to Gordon who is ripping it up in the Premier league. Longstaff has basically fought his way back into the side after it looked like Tonali might slot in there. He might not be a glamorous player but he fills an integral role in what is now a top side - if this idiot for one second actually believes Dan Neil will definitely match that he’s fucking dreaming.
  6. If Liverpool won it we’d have to hear about how Klopp rounded up the lads and took them to the supermarket to pack bags as a fundraiser for his transfer funds. He then valiantly took the £30 raised and bought a world cup winner and a few other players, which equated for a net spend of £100m profit if you add in the Coutinho sale from donkeys years ago, just have to ignore a bunch of players they’ve bought in the meantime. We will then get a bunch of Klopp being happy, everyone is his best mate, and the insufferable, spineless cunts who interview him all forget that he’s a massive, massive cunt of a bloke and go back to licking his hairy hoop. He will fly to Turkey for some more fake veneers ahead of the title winning game. I’ll pass on them cunts winning it.
  7. Love that he’s wound up at the idea of us saying a local phrase. This weird obsession with claiming absolutely everything relates to them is driving them mental, and I for one am loving it.
  8. They also played at Coventry, MK Dons, Leicester, and Brentford. I’m going to make a guess like Silky did and say it’s probably more likely related to cost than a strong sense of morality. Additionally the team stayed in Newcastle before the game, so not sure Silkys weird connection point holds any water either. As always they’re more than welcome to get wound up whatever it is they make up about this.
  9. There was one post where he agreed with a prior post that PSG were shite and the mackems would probably beat them, he then called another post deluded. I love that they can’t reconcile that PSG didn’t perform because our lot didn’t allow them, Hackimi is one of the best full backs in world football and Gordon + Burn completely nullified him with Burn also scoring (against Skriniar in the air but off a cross from Bruno left of goal). We outran them as a team by 9km I saw somewhere, they looked completely physically outmatched in basically every department. Calling them shite is fucking laughable
  10. Brilliant that, love that the group is piss easy now. French champions, recent Italian champions + CL Semi finalists, and Dortmund, a group they were doubled over about how hilarious it was that we drew it and we’d get hammered but now it’s a piece of piss.
  11. Fucking magic that. The only thing that was a negative for me was the stream I watched made me suffer through the absolutely worst fucking commentary I’ve ever heard in my life, that thick fucking cunt Ray Hudson - jesus fucking wept what an insufferable prick. The press is absolutely back now, confidence will be sky high after that what a brilliant performance where we barely gave them a sniff.
  12. Just listened to it out of interest, it’s an absolute wank fest over NUFC . Constant discussion about how immense the atmosphere will be, how big an impact it’ll have on the game, Newcastle can take on any team, comparison to Ajax “proper football club and city”, tailor made for the CL as proper big club. I hope the mackems listen to this. But aye total bunch of fucking hypocrites.
  13. The rapid apology (don’t recall seeing one the day of before?) and quick release of the VAR audio show me Liverpools plan is working. The next time Liverpool are involved in borderline decisions I think it’s pretty likely it’ll go in their favour.
  14. Seriously what is there to argue about here it’s a fucking shocking tackle. I also don’t really understand their “the ball moved his foot into the player” he barely made contact with the ball, he went straight over the top of it. For me it’s one of the more straight forward red cards you’ll ever see.
  15. Oh we should all get behind them? I don’t remember much sympathy or support from them when we lost to them on the back of a combination of a bullshit offside against Isak and a baffling amount of added time. Without VAR it would have been ruled offside, supposedly VAR caught it but the miscommunication was that the VAR official thought the on field decision was a goal - as The Fish says it’s human error, the supposed fix would be that semi automated system but PGMOL voted against that. If their statement was Liverpool saying something like that should be brought in it would have made more sense but again this isn’t some great injustice. They’re doing the typical Liverpool thing and acting like everything went against them, the Jones red card was fucking stone wall this “anyone that played football knows it wasn’t a red” is fucking nonsense, you know you can’t tackle over the ball it was a fucking blatant red. The Jota first yellow was soft but he did clip a player on the break so again not a great injustice, you see plenty given like that and his second was complete stupidity from the player. The amount of apologies teams like us, and Wolves got last season was met with zero worry or interest from Liverpool fans so why the fuck should we give a fuck about this issue?
  16. What the fuck was this about? So a bloke come on announcing their world famous blog (I and I’m sure many hadn’t heard of, but that’s neither here nor there) closed down, which going off his latter posts meant we should have given them a national day of mourning or acted like their family had just died. Then after a few hours announced him and his best friend club had decided they wouldn’t grace us with their presence and that we’re all a bunch of cunts and soopafan’ed on the way out - again expecting the response would be apologetic and full of empathy . Get a fucking grip. Do their mammys make them a nice packed lunch, and ensure their scarf is on nice and snug before they go to the match?
