Agreed, he can really grab the game by the neck at times which is a great aspect to his game. Even games where he’s not really heavily involved he stays as a constant threat due to his pace and eye for goal. 4 goals, 2 assists already this season so on track for double figure goals which would be impressive.

As I say Trippier was the stand out poor performer on the day, and most the team was poor so I don’t blame Almiron for the result but we clearly need to upgrade that position and I really question the recruitment that 2 years post-takeover we’re still playing Almiron most games.

Aye I don’t understand not making subs. The thinness of our squad does come down to our sometimes odd recruitment, we’ve bought 5 full backs, and 2 left wingers despite other areas of the pitch screaming out for players.
