Agreed, he can really grab the game by the neck at times which is a great aspect to his game. Even games where he’s not really heavily involved he stays as a constant threat due to his pace and eye for goal. 4 goals, 2 assists already this season so on track for double figure goals which would be impressive.

It’s what pundits fall back on but in the rules it’s a red, I’ve always found it a joke when pundits come out with that as it implies the only way it’s a red is if Longstaffs leg is broken. If Havertz had connected like he intended Longstaffs leg would have broke, his studs were planted and havertz would have made contact mid shin. Havertz is one of those players where I hope he’s one day on the receiving end of the type of tackles he throws in. The blokes an absolute cunt who intentionally goes in to hurt players. It was a clear red card, imo the ref knew he fucked it up which is why he started booking all our lot to quickly get it all over with rather than look indecisive.

Ruining the game by beating them, they didn’t lay a fucking glove on us all game. They can ram possession stats up their arse, they didn’t threaten. Their club, and others, have fought for years to rig the whole system in their favor so they cannot handle not just steam rolling sides. FFP and the CL money distribution are clear anti-competitive measures to keep the same sides at the top, so they’re all starting to panic now we’re not going away.

Aye I kept saying the exact same thing, I don’t understand why they were even looking at it: Offside position It is not an offence to be in an offside position. A player is in an offside position if: any part of the head, body or feet is in the opponents’ half (excluding the halfway line) and any part of the head, body or feet is nearer to the opponents’ goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent

Good win, real shame that Murphy clearly rushed back and has made his shoulder worse. Really think we have Arsenals number nowadays, their players can’t get their heads in the game against us. Can’t be arsed hearing the whinging about Bruno from the press, Havertz should have walked - if not for the attack on Longstaff then the late tackle second half among others. VAR couldn’t have tried much harder to not allow that goal mind Lascelles brilliant, Tino and Trippier both put in good performances as well.

You lot have a question, the knight Ryder goes and gets the answers If you can’t be arsed with the Chronicles almost impossible to read website, Howe basically says he wants to give him time to settle in he did a nice job against Man City when given the chance and can cover a lot of positions.

I’m sorry like but this constant “we can’t criticize Almiron” stance is wearing thin. The bloke plays bad most weeks but he’s not able to be criticized because Trippier played worse, or he’s a scapegoat, etc, RobElliott is spot on Almiron should be the first player in line for an upgrade he was shocking today, yet again. I don’t in anyway blame him for the result as most the team were poor, but people bring up Gordon, who created a goal, as if he had a worse game. I didn’t say anything after his crap performance mid-week against Dortmund, but he’s had another crap game today and it’s the usual defense of him. He ran about but didn’t tackle as usual, he missed any chance that come his way, and his passing was atrocious. As I say Trippier was the stand out poor performer on the day, and most the team was poor so I don’t blame Almiron for the result but we clearly need to upgrade that position and I really question the recruitment that 2 years post-takeover we’re still playing Almiron most games.
