  1. I look forward to the mental gymnastics if we go on to win an FA cup in the next few years. I’m sure it’ll be a meaningless trophy “all the top lads are focused on the Champions League now” “that’s it marra my best mate Phil Foden (MLF by the way) told me it’s like winning a raffle no one gives a fuck”. They could create an algorithm for that fucking place at this point it’s that predictable.
  2. Some maniacs on Twitter are actively hoping that happens . I know it would be funny for Everton to go down, but the sooner the bottom 3 are adrift with nowt to play for the better.
  3. This is from a 162 page thread (started less than a month ago) all about slagging us off, but aye it’s a real shame and unexpected that a Newcastle fan would slate them
  4. Has Sting ever received the action they asked Amnesty International to take about him? It’s like we’ve long said, they’ve got annoyed at this, now are making things up to be annoyed about and then fewming. It’s like watching a hamster on a wheel tbh, not sure at what point they’ll work it out. It’s fairly likely Elton John will make a joke about Newcastle in his massive Sunderland gig, it’s something every musician tends to do, but they’re choosing to lose their heads over a bloke that’s actually from the area doing it , to the point they’re genuinely lying about where he’s from and now questioning if he was ever a fan of football as if they knew the bloke growing up. Meanwhile they wank themselves into a coma when a life long Oxford fan has a pop at us after being gifted them.
  5. Fair play that he was named after the level of his patter.
  6. Spot on. One of my mates went off the deep end with all the COVID stuff, that then led to “I’m not anti vax but the Covid vaccine is dodgy and I won’t have it”, non stop posting about it, and now he’s saying he won’t ever get another vaccine again. He’s also full on with questioning everything the media say now, it’s been a gateway to a lot of other conspiracy bullshit for a lot of people and aye as you say a wanker with a platform like Le Tissier has helped that along.
  7. Not sure if the Telegraph article showed the tweet as it was making me log in but here it is:
  8. Oh aye: But Andy Dawson steered clear in case one of the Mags whipped up in the Geordie embarrassment would assault him. “It’s soooo embarrassing Trippier mentioning the lads, just enjoy your night” type comments, meanwhile they frothed out the mouth everytime “the Don” and Methven threw insults at NUFC despite being 2 divisions below us Always a claim going in eh. “He’s not from North Shields, deffo South Shields MLF too but switched to mags because of the media cabal proper slates the mags when you see him at lads games”
  9. As AH mentioned the bloke lays it on pretty fucking thick, he appeared on BBC in a Newcastle traccy, one of the lads in his band is always in an NUFC top, and a lot of his merchandise uses imagery close to the Newcastle brown ale logo, at what point did these mackems think there would be absolutely nothing about Newcastle in his show??? The songs the tweet is going on about loving are basically all about growing up in North Shields ffs, but aye total fucking shocker he banged on about Newcastle. What’s the lad going to do next? “Got on one of the buses with Newcastle fans to Norwich away, as I absolutely love going to Norwich, they never stopped talking about NUFC and laughing about our 8-0 loss to Rotherham the night before, most embarrassing state of a bus trip ever”. Andy Dawson is Bob Mortimers mackem mate from Athletico Mince fwiw. He’s painful on it like, you can absolutely tell when it’s the bits he made up as they’re mostly not funny - he’s ok doing his parts in the stuff Mortimer makes up mind. Fuck all chance of recognizing him as Fish says.
  10. Some of their games get shown here on ESPN’s streaming service. You have to dig pretty deep into the menus, literally scrolling past the options for Championship, Eredivisie, Serie A, SuperLig (iirc) and others to such a level that when you do find them they should put a pop up saying “are you fucking sure you want to put this shit on?”, also the games have no commentary on them. But still maybe Americans will become MLF’s.
  11. Be sure to tune into Ceefax where you can catch ALL the third tier action.
  12. I’ve never seen him play so I’m not going to get upset, there’s a ton of good players out there that improve us. The mackems can do some fucking amount of mental gymnastics like, we may or may not still be in for him, but if we say we are and Milan beat us to him that means we are targeting a pool of players that a side currently top of Serie A (and finished 2nd iirc last season?) want. Is that something anyone would be upset by? We were struggling to get Hamza Choudrey on loan and getting outbid for Ajer by Brentford last summer ffs.
  13. He suited us with where we were, he thrives in a disorganized side where he can provide the occasional spark, but in an organized side he will struggle unless he adapts. Imo that’s the harsh reality. I’d love to see him adapt and turn into a top player for us, but there’s been zero sign of it so far. If you look up the dribbling stats of PL players he’s top by a mile, basically double that of Bernardo Silva, is he genuinely more skillful on the ball than Silva? Or is it because he goes on a run whenever he touches the ball despite it often not being the best option? He’s no doubt been electric at times, and been a bright spark in dour sides, but in a team full of Bruno and Trippier type players he wouldn’t be helpful. The goal he scored against Burnley was the player I would love for him to be, beat a man passed to Fraser, brilliant run and got on the end of a Fraser cross for a goal, the issue with him is he very rarely makes that pass to Fraser. This isn’t to say I’m itching to see him gone, but if he was sold and replace by someone like Raphinha I wouldn’t be upset.
  14. Can’t wait until he’s back. It honestly gives us a lot more chance of picking up points against Arsenal too (unlikely that’s we need them by then mind).
  15. Aye, I think the lad you’ve highlighted also had a topic that was different from others, which was interesting, and he had a passion for it. You also can’t just leave your job prospects entirely and say you’re a full time content maker, if you look at any top podcaster, YouTuber etc they all will discuss a point where they took that leap into making it a full time thing and they were all pretty big by that point - TG had been going for years iirc when he did that, the lads on the football ramble still mostly work other jobs despite the fact they’re now at a level where they employ full time staff. Pearson (Blades, Wraith etc) would also get less flak if they could take flak, if they actually had any knack for this or did anything interesting or different, and didn’t act like they were doing everyone some massive favor “how dare you have a go at me don’t you know I do this full time, I’ve dedicated my life to this” . They also overvalue the time it takes people to give them shit, most people scroll through twitter on a 5 minute break, have a pop at them and go back to work. TG went viral for his rants, whatever your views on it they were different to a lot of other stuff at the time and often were funny, he then branched into other things, some that worked some that didn’t. As Tom has mentioned in the past there’s lads like Emil who have a knack for interviewing, he will get reactions and discuss things in a level way, he will go onto sky and be fair take criticism and present a viewpoint he sees from speaking to fans. Meanwhile Pearson films U-23 games, which lets be honest there’s little interest in - he presents this as showing dedication but no one cares, if Wraith gets on sky he pushes himself, he’s ridiculous and presents his view as some leader of the fan base while also acting like he has actual involvement with the ownership. I know typing this out was redundant as they’ll never see it, but it’s a realistic way of how I see it. We’d all love to be in a position like True Geordie is now, but the fact is many of us, me (Pearson etc) included, simply don’t have the knack for it. They need to realize wanting it isn’t enough, and don’t write off all criticism as ‘haters’.
  16. Exactly. They’re literally sat there saying some of our fans make excuses for things our owners do, while on that very forum (likely some of the people accusing us of it) they were legitimately saying “she was almost 16 ffs nowt wrong with it” and blaming her, insulting her father etc. Before any of them start if they’re reading no I am not equating what Johnson did to carpet bombing Yemen etc, but it just shows that apologists would riddle their fan base if our owners bought them.
  17. Aye, I said in another thread they’re simply not able to be in any way objective about NUFC. As Toms quote about how “only the mags would stoop to this level” shows, have they not noticed that EXACTLY the same thing has played out at Manchester City? Same type of owner, same type of structure, same reaction from a fan base. They also have this fucking bizarre view of their own fan base, like it’s somehow different and it’s this enclave of perfect, moral, upstanding people that’s apart from society as a whole - their fans would be absolutely buzzing like 99% of every fan base would be for a similar takeover.
  18. He’s a mackem, albeit out of choice but a mackem all the same. When it comes to us they simply cannot be objective in any way, shape, or form. They have a thread currently on RTG asking who the worst current PL player is, no shock that pretty much our entire squad is listed. Even in a situation where they can be completely objective, there’s nothing prompting it that’s what they go with. We have poor players sure, but it’s clearly a Norwich player ffs .
  19. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/mexicans-at-match.1575624/ This was shaping up to be a “Mexicans are MLF” thread before it become clear they weren’t Mexican at all, just some blokes wearing sombreros. Why would someone see some blokes in sombrero’s and just assume they were a group of Mexicans? It could be that there’s a desperation among that fan base for everyone in the world to support them, it could also be that the OP hasn’t travelled further than a 10 mile radius of Pennywell and just assumes all Mexicans walk about in Sombreros. My personal question is why make a thread about it at all?
  20. He’s one of the journalists I’ve refused to read for a while now, he’s a bitter little twat when it comes to us - I also find his other stuff to be shite anyway. I’ve little to no doubt he won’t have tried to see it from any other view and has took to blaming NUFC fans. Says a lot about him that I don’t apply this refusal to read their stuff to Delaney. The whataboutery excuse is made by idiots nowadays, it’s their get out of jail free card - don’t get me wrong I’m sure people come out with absurd things and do try to gloss over things using comparisons of others, but even when presented with very fair arguments and comparisons a lot of these journalists just yell whataboutery and refuse to discuss it. The coverage of Qatars World Cup, the way the journalists sprinted to board the planes there, and the lack of sponsors suddenly abandoning a chance at having their company names attached to it has proven part of our point. He is welcome to paint in broad strokes and dress us Newcastle fans up as evil monsters who are completely complicit in all of the evils Saudi Arabia participates in, and since we cannot make a single comparison or point to a single example where Saudi (and other blood money) is gleefully accepted (whataboutism and all that), that makes us one of the most heinous groups on the planet. If that’s the logical framework he wants to apply, then is it fair to say he is a supporter paedophiles and child molestors? after all the club he supports knowingly sheltered one and many that support that club vocalized their support of that behavior - works both ways - not whataboutism btw I’m simply saying if he wants to judge our fan base like that then we can judge his appropriately so. Couple of genuine questions, ones idiots like him would scream whataboutism because it’s impossible for them to argue, but I’m assuming the course of action we all should have taken was to basically stop supporting NUFC - by extension the same would obviously apply to fans of Chelsea, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Wolves (three brummy clubs indirectly owned by the Chinese state), Leicester City, Everton (we know the real owner), Sheffield United, Paris, etc etc etc, what then? Would everything magically be fixed? Would we not have a Qatari World Cup, or a Russian one prior to that? On the vein of world cups, by extension is everyone meant to turn that off and not watch? Or is there some loophole that makes that particular (and far, far more public/viewed/successful) brand of sportswashing perfectly acceptable to engage in in a way supporting your PL side isn’t? Personally I find a glamorous, once every 4 years event, that has an influx of attention, and allows the holders the chance to paint whatever image they really want of their country on this massive stage to be a more glaring example of sportswashing but never mind. I’m sure this last point is what someone like him would seize on “what about Brazil 2014 that didn’t show a good side of Brazil” it’s also not a leader that cared to use it in the manner that Qatar will, if the Brazilian government had wanted to they would have but they had bigger issues to deal with than foreign perception. TLDR; Barry Glendenning can suck my balls the little mackem divvie. To paraphrase Will Smith “keep my clubs name out your fucking mouth”.
  21. I honestly think if Everton beat Burnley on Wednesday, and we get a draw against Wolves there’s no chance of us going down. That would mean Burnley would need 4 wins out of 9 games just to be on 1 point more than us. I’m personally pretty much certain it’s over anyway, but I’d have no doubt whatsoever if the above happened.
  22. I think the best part is her original post isn’t giving an opinion, it’s questioning/criticism towards Howe (or “having a pop”), Stan ( ) and her are then trying to question the right of people who are doing pretty much what she’s doing to Howe to her. Coincidentally I’m fairly sure she also has wittered on recently about those questioning Howe’s decisions . You compare the likes of her, Wraith, and Adam Pearson to the True Geordie (even in his early days) and you can really see exactly how he’s where he is and they’re where they are.
  23. Aye Evertons fixture list is brutal, especially when you consider their PL record since January 2nd is 2 wins, no draws and 9 losses.
  24. Aye you and Alex nailed it. If it’s such a fucking chore then pack it in, it’s not a job.
