Exactly. They’re literally sat there saying some of our fans make excuses for things our owners do, while on that very forum (likely some of the people accusing us of it) they were legitimately saying “she was almost 16 ffs nowt wrong with it” and blaming her, insulting her father etc. Before any of them start if they’re reading no I am not equating what Johnson did to carpet bombing Yemen etc, but it just shows that apologists would riddle their fan base if our owners bought them.

Aye, I said in another thread they’re simply not able to be in any way objective about NUFC. As Toms quote about how “only the mags would stoop to this level” shows, have they not noticed that EXACTLY the same thing has played out at Manchester City? Same type of owner, same type of structure, same reaction from a fan base. They also have this fucking bizarre view of their own fan base, like it’s somehow different and it’s this enclave of perfect, moral, upstanding people that’s apart from society as a whole - their fans would be absolutely buzzing like 99% of every fan base would be for a similar takeover.

He’s a mackem, albeit out of choice but a mackem all the same. When it comes to us they simply cannot be objective in any way, shape, or form. They have a thread currently on RTG asking who the worst current PL player is, no shock that pretty much our entire squad is listed. Even in a situation where they can be completely objective, there’s nothing prompting it that’s what they go with. We have poor players sure, but it’s clearly a Norwich player ffs . -
https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/mexicans-at-match.1575624/ This was shaping up to be a “Mexicans are MLF” thread before it become clear they weren’t Mexican at all, just some blokes wearing sombreros. Why would someone see some blokes in sombrero’s and just assume they were a group of Mexicans? It could be that there’s a desperation among that fan base for everyone in the world to support them, it could also be that the OP hasn’t travelled further than a 10 mile radius of Pennywell and just assumes all Mexicans walk about in Sombreros. My personal question is why make a thread about it at all?

He’s one of the journalists I’ve refused to read for a while now, he’s a bitter little twat when it comes to us - I also find his other stuff to be shite anyway. I’ve little to no doubt he won’t have tried to see it from any other view and has took to blaming NUFC fans. Says a lot about him that I don’t apply this refusal to read their stuff to Delaney. The whataboutery excuse is made by idiots nowadays, it’s their get out of jail free card - don’t get me wrong I’m sure people come out with absurd things and do try to gloss over things using comparisons of others, but even when presented with very fair arguments and comparisons a lot of these journalists just yell whataboutery and refuse to discuss it. The coverage of Qatars World Cup, the way the journalists sprinted to board the planes there, and the lack of sponsors suddenly abandoning a chance at having their company names attached to it has proven part of our point. He is welcome to paint in broad strokes and dress us Newcastle fans up as evil monsters who are completely complicit in all of the evils Saudi Arabia participates in, and since we cannot make a single comparison or point to a single example where Saudi (and other blood money) is gleefully accepted (whataboutism and all that), that makes us one of the most heinous groups on the planet. If that’s the logical framework he wants to apply, then is it fair to say he is a supporter paedophiles and child molestors? after all the club he supports knowingly sheltered one and many that support that club vocalized their support of that behavior - works both ways - not whataboutism btw I’m simply saying if he wants to judge our fan base like that then we can judge his appropriately so. Couple of genuine questions, ones idiots like him would scream whataboutism because it’s impossible for them to argue, but I’m assuming the course of action we all should have taken was to basically stop supporting NUFC - by extension the same would obviously apply to fans of Chelsea, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Wolves (three brummy clubs indirectly owned by the Chinese state), Leicester City, Everton (we know the real owner), Sheffield United, Paris, etc etc etc, what then? Would everything magically be fixed? Would we not have a Qatari World Cup, or a Russian one prior to that? On the vein of world cups, by extension is everyone meant to turn that off and not watch? Or is there some loophole that makes that particular (and far, far more public/viewed/successful) brand of sportswashing perfectly acceptable to engage in in a way supporting your PL side isn’t? Personally I find a glamorous, once every 4 years event, that has an influx of attention, and allows the holders the chance to paint whatever image they really want of their country on this massive stage to be a more glaring example of sportswashing but never mind. I’m sure this last point is what someone like him would seize on “what about Brazil 2014 that didn’t show a good side of Brazil” it’s also not a leader that cared to use it in the manner that Qatar will, if the Brazilian government had wanted to they would have but they had bigger issues to deal with than foreign perception. TLDR; Barry Glendenning can suck my balls the little mackem divvie. To paraphrase Will Smith “keep my clubs name out your fucking mouth”. -
I honestly think if Everton beat Burnley on Wednesday, and we get a draw against Wolves there’s no chance of us going down. That would mean Burnley would need 4 wins out of 9 games just to be on 1 point more than us. I’m personally pretty much certain it’s over anyway, but I’d have no doubt whatsoever if the above happened.

I think the best part is her original post isn’t giving an opinion, it’s questioning/criticism towards Howe (or “having a pop”), Stan ( ) and her are then trying to question the right of people who are doing pretty much what she’s doing to Howe to her. Coincidentally I’m fairly sure she also has wittered on recently about those questioning Howe’s decisions . You compare the likes of her, Wraith, and Adam Pearson to the True Geordie (even in his early days) and you can really see exactly how he’s where he is and they’re where they are.
-
Aye Evertons fixture list is brutal, especially when you consider their PL record since January 2nd is 2 wins, no draws and 9 losses.
-
This whole fume about Howe taking a striker off for a defender, I get that it’s negative but there’s something to be said for avoiding a 7-1 or worse score line as we absolutely were not coming back. Is it what I would have liked Howe to do? Maybe not but then again it’s not like we have talent on the bench. Oh aye, for her little distance question I’ll be going to a couple of matches when I’m home in the summer so that’s a 6,756 mile round trip for me. Would that allow me to have an opinion per Holly . It’s this weird sort of entitled soopafan/wannabe podcaster type that’s bizarre. People like her and Pearson come out with absolute fucking tripe then when anyone says you’re talking shite they immediately scream on about how they’re a soopafan and know way more.
-
I think Howe will light them up after that. Hopefully Shelvey is dropped for Bruno, I agree on dropping ASM I honestly think we are a better functioning side without him - he obviously has the occasional moment in his back pocket but he’s a real liability at times and isn’t learning. Honestly would play Krafth over Manquillo as well. Shame we have no viable alternative to Burn and Schar as each of them deserve dropped after that mare. Helps we are at home for the next 3. Had a lot of away games in a row there.
-
This is why I don’t want them. I know we will have some as it’s not feasible to replace the entire squad but they’ve got this in them, their heads drop and they give up. Maybe I’m a harsh person but I’m just sick to the back teeth of watching players like Jonjo fucking Shelvey, just players that aren’t bothered about getting a hiding like this whereas someone like Trippier would be fucking seething.
-
Absolutely dross, could see the mentality shift from most back to their loser mentality once the second went in. Think it’s a wake up call for many in our support who have overrated a lot of these players. Ends the argument of playing the Willock Joelinton and Shelvey midfield 3 in favor of playing our best player, all three have been absolutely shocking today. Not meaning to insult our lot btw, they’ve done well to steer us pretty much clear of relegation - I’m just personally tired of seeing people (mainly on Twitter) going on like Shelvey, Manquillo, Fraser etc will be viable players as starters in future. Bring on the end of the season.

It’s almost as if coming out and absolutely slating your own players for losing a cup game you shouldn’t be arsed about after finally winning a game maybe wasn’t the best move -
They really are the football club equivalent of a shart. The fucking plight of that first page of topics. A match thread about playing Gillingham, Danger(to everyone)mows posing the question of who was better Pascal Chimbonda or Phil Bardsley, and a thread about how they booed the team onto the pitch. The paedo worshippers will get really restless when someone pips them to 6th.

Honestly can’t wait until the summer window so we can start buying good players so people stop posting drivel like this. The bloke has 11 goals, 5 of them pens with 5 of the goals (3 of which were pens) coming against the bottom two sides in 2 straight games. Not to mention he gets in a right mood about us, and went on about how shit Brentford are to anyone who would listen .
-
Agree with all of the above, he’s a very talented player and I like watching him play but even Howe’s comments about how he is trying not to overcoach him leans into what Craig and ewerk mention. I know some will point out that he’s a mercurial talent and you have carry that, I agree with that for where we were but for where we are heading you can get players that are brilliant in possession dribbling past players with ease but also are able to function in a well drilled, disciplined set up. As Andrew says we don’t really have to worry with our owners, if we sold him we would bring someone in for equal or more than we sold him for.

“Not yet lads, need a double figure gap before the start of our come back, can’t be letting that fat cunt Frank or that Sherman tank Marsch only have a single figure lead” -
We will play dirge football through the group, it’ll be hailed as professional. Probably beat Senegal or whoever it is we play the first KO round. Then go out to France in the QF in a game that’ll be similar to the Croatia and Italy losses, Southgate will focus on stifling any opposition rather than playing our own game. His defenders will waffle on about how he’s done far more than any recent England manager, while it’s a fair thing to say with regard to people calling him shit it doesn’t make him beyond criticism imo. He’s been brilliant overall, and I think he deserves a ton of credit especially for the culture he’s created in the squad, I still think he’s too cautious especially in key games. Obviously I hope he proves me massively wrong. I can’t look past France or Brazil for this tournament tbh. If France turn up they’re the best squad in international football, and Brazil have been excellent for a while now.
