Night two of FUCKING SAM VENDER, will this nightmare never end for them?

The frightening part is you’d actually struggle to make a profit in it . I’d imagine a property like that in that area would go for around £30k? It looks like it needs electric, plumbing, gas, heat, as well as all of the boarding and fittings. Maybe if you done it all by yourself? So aye it probably actually is overvalued

Dion Dublin would be rubbing his hands saying “all I see here is potential” before him and the camera crew get robbed by a bunch of lads fans on BMX’s outside.

Always worth noting their tourism board really highlight the best parts of Sunderland’s culture

Have they missed what wages and transfer fees have become since 2010? There’s players on 300k a week and 100m transfer fees have become somewhat regular. What fucking planet do these people live on? -

Maybe it’s referring to wages in terms of new contracts? So it’s like the wages, and fees of new players are what’s factored against the 70%, if it’s the way we were originally interpreting the tweet I don’t get how it’ll ever work, even with a 3 year grace period. -

That’s exactly it. It’s also worth noting Lampard’s reaction to this and the Palace losses, it doesn’t seem like he’s on the verge of managing a run like that. Their game in hand on us is Villa away too btw. -

I think it’s hard to know what the impact will be, it could drive down agent and transfer fees which have both gotten completely out of hand. I don’t think it’s come out yet what the mechanics are, like will balances carryover, or can you only spend that amount year to year? If it’s the latter it’s a bit daft as you end up with situations like what happened with Barca as La Liga have an FFP mechanic over wages that kind of works like that and the decrease in revenue due to COVID meant Barcas wages were miles over the limit. -

Massive yeah, we’ve had 6 away games in our last 7 matches. We’ve averaged far better than a PPG over that run. We’ve won the games we should have won to stay up for the most part and picked up points in ones which were unlikely (West Ham, Southampton) I still see us getting at least 4 points from the next 4 games which is an incredibly negative prediction given how good we have been at home under Howe. The only team that has beaten us at home in the PL under Howe is Manchester City, but the bloke with 1 PL win under his belt this season is going to storm past us. Is it possible? Of course, is it realistic? No not at all. Give them both wins in their game in hand, that means with the same amount of fixtures played we’ve been 3-4 points better, Everton imo have a harder fixture list than us too. The other factor to all of this is there’s a chance we will have both Wilson and Trippier back for Norwich, at worst we have them back for the home game against Arsenal and Burnley away. -

We’ve got nearly a 1% chance of qualifying for the CL, and they have it as only 6 times as likely we go down If that doesn’t show how fucking unlikely we are to go down I don’t know what does. -

Spot on, I don’t get this view point that they’re suddenly going to start some massive run. They beat Spurs and then proceeded to get pumped for the next few games. Everton are absolutely fucking shambolic, sure they beat us but that was in a game where we’d played 3 away games in 8 days and the referee allowed them to kick us off the pitch. We played bad second half as we did against Spurs so pretty much 90 minutes of bad football since early January and people are now screaming they can’t see us winning a game. I even saw a bloke having Leicester at home as winnable for Everton, but when it was mentioned we had the same fixture he said we’d get turned over . I’ve never seen a fixture where one side win a game and suddenly the losing side are seen as possibly going on a run of wins. We are talking about sides that don’t win games, so 6-7 points is a massive gap. As pointed out elsewhere even if one of them caught us it’s not enough, it has to be three of them while we also fail to overtake Brentford and Brighton. I flat out don’t understand how people look at Watford away for Everton and say that’s winnable, they lost to Norwich and Burnley away ffs. I saw a tweet the other day, that if we only had the points we’d accrued since Howe joined in November we would still be 4 points clear of relegation, it would be 2 points now since Burnley have passed Watford but fucking hell that shows how we’ve been in comparison the the rabble around us. We lost to Chelsea and Tottenham away, realistically the only game you can be annoyed about losing points is Everton away, but we also won Southampton away when most wrote it off. If we pick up 4 points, which would be literally calamitous Bruce style form, it would mean Burnley and Everton would BOTH have to get 10-11 points, and Leeds would also need 5. If we go down at this point it would be fucking fully deserved. -
It’s just absurd that it’s their go to. The moment anyone that a Newcastle fan says anything about Sunderland, there’s posts across RTG and twitter about how that person is not a Newcastle fan. If someone is a Sunderland fan and has a pop at Newcastle I don’t think anyone has any urge to try and claim that person doesn’t support Sunderland.

I just took a look at Brighton’s run in, given they have lost 6 in a row before a home draw against Norwich: Arsenal, Spurs, and Man City all away are their next 3 Southampton at home Wolves away Man Utd home Leeds away West Ham home As I’ve mentioned before I don’t see us going down, if people want to panic that Burnley or Everton will go on some mad runs of form that’s fine but can they genuinely say both will? While Leeds also pick up results, while we don’t even pick up the 4 points needed to get above Brighton? -

Here’s an example “I think the team that have took 6 points from 12 games will be ok but the team that took 21 from 12 are definitely fucked because they lost away to Spurs and Chelsea” get a grip. -

I can’t get over Twitter tonight man. I’d have preferred a Burnley win but the amount of blokes going “did you see how bad we were against Spurs? Everton will pick up points it’s not like they won’t win any more games” but these same people seem to write off any hope of us winning another, and they just watched Everton play like that against Burnley . -

Everton are fucking dross. They offered absolutely nothing and were cut apart almost at will by fucking Burnley. I think Burnley actually had more possession as well . 2 wins and 10 losses in their last 12, both wins at home and they lost away to Norwich so I honestly don’t see any particularly winnable games for them in their fixture list. Watford will outscore them, and Brentford could go either way other than those two it’s a bunch of hidings. -
Man angry at Newcastle player for having a dig at the rival fan base. As if their players don’t do it all the fucking time. Saying all that he’s still better than Pearson.

I just don’t even get what their point is? Because Elton John is a bigger star than Sam Fender? They do know Sam Fender isn’t the only person to do a concert in Newcastle aye? In any case, same as the he’s not actually a Geordie/NUFC fan/is actually a MLF arguments he still rinsed them and they’re still wound up about it . They’ll be desperate for Elton to say something about Newcastle, but the whole of Newcastle would shrug and get on with their lives.

Blatantly had no clue it was happening, they started frantically googling gigs in Sunderland once they got angry about it.

It’s weird that they claim to be classy, moral, and upstanding yet their forum, in between moral outrage for everything related to NUFC (inc. Sam Fender, Look North, and BBC Radio Newcastle) is littered with threads like the below: https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/women-drivers.1575772/ Genuinely like stepping back in time, good old dangermows stepping in with science to confirm that women simply are disadvantaged by poor judgement of distance. Presumably he thinks women shouldn’t bother with schooling as it might give them a headache from the learning, better to leave it to the men. Thick cunts. They’re also still patting themselves on the back that Sam Fender definitely isn’t a Geordie, presumably because he’s from North Shields (unless they’re still adamant he’s from South Shields) I guess being born 10 miles from St James’ park means he’s not a Geordie, and therefore ineligible to support NUFC - Fwiw I’m from North Shields and if asked would say I’m a Geordie, but if I was to be told by some Uber Geordie like Stevie that I wasn’t one I don’t see how it would impact my support of NUFC . Glad they got to the bottom of that though. They can all get back to making more sweeping generalizations of groups of people that aren’t them now.

I obviously love the idea of Everton going down, but as you say I just want the season to be done now. The plus is even if they do stay up they have no money and will keep Lampard, so they’ll be farting into the same pillow they have been this season down the bottom end as they have a front row seat to us climbing the table. They can come 19th next season with firefighter Sam Allardyce steering them off that cliff as we come 6th.
