  1. I don’t blame them for being little bitter bastards tbh. Newcastle is basically the better looking, cooler, interesting, and richer brother. For years we beat them and the rivalry wasn’t as pervasive as it become recently, then when they started to win and our team got involved in the fights for relegation with them it got nastier and more bitter. Obviously I will never try to pretend I’m not biased, but Sunderland genuinely is a fucking shithole. Every bit of it is worse than Newcastle, they’ll deny it, or do their usual trying to pretend certain things actually are Sunderland to make themselves feel better, but it’s fucking true. The Bridges is their Northumberland Street/Eldon Square and it’s honestly struggling to be on the same level as North Shields high street, it’s pathetic, genuinely fucking embarrassing for a ‘city’ centre shopping district. The architecture is concrete fucking crap, the entire place, whereas parts of Newcastle are fucking stunning. The comparison between football clubs doesn’t even need to be discussed anymore, we are on different planets now. I think Sunderland Uni is among the worst in the UK, Newcastle Uni on the other hand consistently ranks high especially for medical school iirc. Newcastle is known elsewhere, maybe through the club, maybe through the beer, or people like Sting. They used to be called plastic Geordie’s iirc as the standard tag on when people didn’t know where Sunderland was would be “…near Newcastle, aye geordie that’s right”. Sunderland is just fucking irrelevant tbh, that’s why they now try to claw places like Durham as part of Sunderland. So aye, I understand the bitterness from them tbh - that season we were in the championship and they were in the PL was the fucking peak for them, you could tell by the way they clung on to that no matter how insane it was “we might be bottom marra but that’s one playuce above ya FTM” even after 37 games in the PL and our guaranteed auto promotion status, it’s been a break neck reality check since. I would say that now their club is about on par with the rest of that fucking tip they call home. At some point they’ll be looking over the mounds of shit filled carrier bags, fake historical landmarks, dog todd, and cans of special brew at the bright lights of an actual city, with history, significance, and culture, they’ll turn to their pet Alsatian called Callum while it’s love making with a stray Staffordshire bull terrier and they’ll say “ye knarrr what Callum? Theyssse says it’s Newcastle airport buyyt reyylee we knars it’s Pontelands. FTM” before passing out on their mattress that’s on the floor. “On the rivvvahhhh where they used to make the boooooattsss…”
  2. Superstar replacement Weghorst was subbed off again after contributing fuck all.
  3. Get in there Norwich! It’s almost like Burnley are absolutely fucking shit.
  4. Norwich on the list. Mag conspiracy with Oliver officiating, the secret cabal of Tyneside businessmen strike again.
  5. Howay

    Leeds United

    They probably are 18 tbf
  6. I don’t think he can go to the USA, fairly sure one of his teams even recently cancelled a pre season there?
  7. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2022/04/10/let-alone-neil-warnock-makes-claim-about-newcastle-fans-15-mins-after-win-v-wolves/?amp Add Warnock to the list. Mackem: “maybe we are wrong, maybe the atmosphere is good and that Bruno might be decent?” RTG: “exactly what a mag would say, lad I work with said he was there, MLF mind, and could barely hear the barcodes chanting over the video of his staffy’s lovemakkin that his lass sent him. Mods can we ban this mag coont”
  8. I solely follow Steve Wraith, Holly Blades, and Adam Pearson, so not sure what is wrong with my feed.
  9. Sky Sports doubling down on the magedia.
  10. They’ve managed about 14 points from their last 15 games, yet the press will still praise Gerard.
  11. Reading that thread you can clearly see they would have all stopped supporting SAFC if the PiF had bought them. They should add consistent when they say they’re classy “consistent classy lads fans marra FTM”
  12. That’s fair, and maybe he isn’t fully fit. I do hope he turns it around and would love to be proven wrong, I’m just at the point where I’m no longer arsed if he stays. It’s the hesitation on a lot of his passes that frustrates me the most with him tbh.
  13. From what I’ve seen on Twitter if you posted that summary of him as a player people would be jumping all over you. Stuff like this is common. I know Chaudhry is a comedian, but this sentiment is a lot of what I see on Twitter. Any slight knock on his performances gets this avalanche of people acting like he’s above criticism. I’m personally just frustrated that he hasn’t improved into the player that can take advantage of his talent. Like I say, personally I’m finished defending him or hoping he stays/plays, I just don’t think he will improve much from what we see which is a bloke who would rather dribble past that extra player than make the pass he should.
  14. Aye he’s a scape goat. Been running into blind alleys and groups of players for 3 years, but he’s a scapegoat. He dwelled on the ball, go watch it yourself. I’m more than happy to say Joelinton has been crap recently too, I don’t just make up excuses for players performing poorly. My facts are fine, I’m just tired of seeing a player constantly fawned over for dribbling the ball around and doing fuck all. I’m also not going to boo, or send messages to the bloke, I’m just voicing my disagreement that he’s some quality player we should all fawn over and are lucky to be watching. Not sure what the Ukraine bits about.
  15. I’ve personally given up on ASM. He needs to give his head a wobble, people highlight the runs he makes but 90%+ of them go absolutely nowhere he just runs away from the rest of the team and generally refuses to pass the ball unless he absolutely has to (the pass he should have made to Bruno but then delayed being a glaring example). People are overly keen to give him credit as well, lots of bigging up his pass to Joelinton which eventually led to the pen it was fine and helped the move but come on man. I said in this thread at some point he will simply refuse to help the team keep the ball, and he did. He kept trying to go on mazy runs in the 85th+ minute losing the ball numerous times. People shrug it off when we go on to win but he did just that against Everton by dwelling on the ball instead of playing keep ball and it cost us. I think under Bruce his runs that went nowhere were a positive as we had nothing else whatsoever to be excited about. They were brief exciting moments in turgid games, whereas now we can build moves his runs often just break down play. Completely understand people have different opinion to me on this, but there’s this ridiculous narrative from the ASM fan club that anyone doubting him is an idiot and automatically wrong, they’ll throw out largely irrelevant stats like the amount of runs he goes on and when his lack of production is brought up it’s shrugged off as him being slightly off the boil, despite this being his most productive season in terms of goals and assists iirc. The way Howe plays, and wants to play, we are a better side without him imo.
  16. I think the difference between them is while Wood did drag his feet a bit I’m expectation he’d have been tripped either way, Maddison very clearly stretched his leg towards Lascelles to make the contact. It was a Harry Kane dragged foot classic from Wood v a dive like Maddison’s imo. To balance it out the VAR decision to rule out our goal was borderline, they showed the frame before the one they drew the lines on and Bruno was comfortably on and there was no real difference in where Almiron was between either frame - personally feel if you have to start pulling out lines and scrutinizing to that degree you’re just looking to chalk the goal off and ignoring the room for error between fractional frames of when a ball was deemed kicked. Like you’ve said before though I’m not bothered, we’ve been fucking rinsed on pens all season so it’s about time we got one. The Fraser and Murphy ones against Man City and Chelsea were absolutely absurd.
  17. Of course it was captain Harry the fucking fridge, off a shite shot from cocknose no less . Staggering how little Manchester United create when they have Sancho, Pogba, Ronaldo, etc playing.
  18. Aye it’s that complete absurd refusal to have any objectivity that makes me laugh. Posts genuinely calling Bruno “that useless Brazilian” and “he’s average as fuck” in a game where he was an absolute Rolls Royce, the mackems that countered it (fair play to them) were either ignored or called mags. I’m all for taking the piss but how can you be arsed to sit down and pay attention to a match you have no stakes in other than hating one of the teams and just constantly slate the best player on the pitch? At that point you’re just making it seem like you genuinely don’t understand football. The one I’ve seen them doing is this “spent aahl that money and still playing (whatever player they hate at that time)”, we’ve had one transfer window with these owners . That’s their schtick though isn’t it, if it’s not immediately happening there’s no hope for anything in future no matter how blatant the signs.
  19. No surprise it’s riddled with homophobic posts followed by “gerrin”. Like I said about the “have you ever noticed women can’t drive? Aye marra their brains just aren’t as developed as men it’s science marra” thread it’s like a fucking time warp that place.
  20. Some highlights from their thread solely about our match: kingkeane showing staggering levels of bitterness here. Calling by far the best player on the pitch and a current Brazil International average Of course, nothing to say so a lot of them jumped to their new go to. Some pedo jibes thrown around about Bruno, again maybe lay off this topic area lads? At least the thread titles have moved past ‘poo castle’ I suppose. I genuinely thought this was someone taking the piss, but it seems like he genuinely thinks this is how it works when we beat teams. There was also a lad who announced that the bottom half of the Premier League is shite, as everyone was moaning when we were all over Wolves, despite Wolves being in 8th. Another even said we’d need to spend hundreds of millions to finish in the top 10, despite currently being 3 points off 9th .
  21. Managed to shoehorn class into there. Fairly sure a mackem top is required when anyone from Sunderland goes to the metro centre, or Newcastle Airport. Also, glad he added on a normal day as we all know lads fans save their Reg Vardy finest for special occasions. Like their nuptials to their sister, or taking the nippers out for their first pack of tabs. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/🇺🇦🇺🇦-al-qaeda-united-v-wolves-kick-off-2000-sky-sports-premier-leaguesky-sports-ultra-hd-🇺🇦🇺🇦.1575900/ Add Sky Sports in general to the list with Carragher, and Fender. Dan Goodman too, loves the mags and never has a good word to say about the mackems despite apparently being a popular player for them Imagine if we go on to win the league or something. It’ll be even sweeter knowing that rabble of racist huckles will be glued to their tv’s watching the entire thing absolutely fewmin.
