  1. Agreed he was really good today, he’s looked really solid in general recently but today was possibly his best performance for us. I think he’s more than earned his spot ahead of Manquillo.
  2. “The security facilities were second to none; from a little box at the back of the stand police were able to focus with precision cameras on any seat within the ground. The access ways had been designed to evacuate the stadium in the shortest time possible” Any other fucking bog standard features no one gives a fuck about does he care to mention? They plonked a flat pack, boring stadium in the middle of a fucking desolate bit of land it was never ever close to being one of the best even when it was brand new ffs. I’ve been in Quinn’s bar too and it’s a fucking eyesore, tacky horrible bright red with chrome everywhere. They have such an inflated opinion of their club, they’re a totally fucking irrelevant club and have been that for the modern era. It’s something like two or three games in Europe in their entire history, they should just embrace and enjoy their time in League one tbh as that’s around about their level.
  3. “Well said marra at leyust whuve got class nevvor get owwer sewpa support backin owners like that FTM”
  4. We need our very own Hank Williams. 🇺🇦🇺🇦Paedophile Supporters AFC v Forest Green Rovers BBC Radio Newcastle plus (online radio stream only) 🇺🇦🇺🇦
  5. Btw, I love that when a few Newcastle fans post on there it’s absolute iron clad proof “the mags are obsessed” meanwhile they actually have a match thread for every single one of our games complete with both teams line ups, predictions, and they all watch. But you can see how a bloke going on there to have a pop is obsessed
  6. They could face Leicester U18’s and I’m sure Lampard would make a disaster of it, before putting 100% of the blame on his players.
  7. How many times were we told no one had ever survived from the position we were in? And he’s not only kept the team up but could possibly finish top half .
  8. It’s absolutely mind blowing that we didn’t win a game until December and are now 3 points off 9th with 6 games to go
  9. Have to create chances to score Brendan, he had the same complaint when his Swansea side come to St James and passed it back and forth in the centre circle and went on to lose.
  10. How many games did we come back to win after going a goal down under Bruce? We might have already done it more times under Howe
  11. After watching ASM and Joelinton both sky it about 4 times each I can’t blame him. I agree it’s a mix of this plus as Polarboy said he played deeper for Lyon with Pacqueta playing ahead, whereas I think Shelvey sits deeper now.
  12. Of course Leicester were the better side in a game both sides should have been awarded 0 points. I’d love to see how much better in quality their games are every week. It was a bit of a dead rubber (although shouldnt have been for them, so maybe chalk that up to our press and shape stopping their moves) and I think a draw was likely the “fair result” but for all their possession they had 2 shots on target to our 7, so the mackems can whinge we were “flukey” but we looked more dangerous for the entire game and made our chances count. Leicester can’t feel hard done by here imo.
  13. How far from relegation do some of our fans need to be to stop saying “surely that’s enough” IF Burnley won their game in hand we’d be 9 points clear of them with 6 games to go
  14. Wow what a player Bruno is. More goals than Wood, the way he shields the ball everytime he touches it is textbook. 6 points from Wolves and Leicester, Burnley 1 point from Norwich and West Ham, is their run starting?
  15. You won’t get more time and space than that in the conference let alone the PL. nightmare of a header.
  16. So is it sportswashing, or an investment to make money? I also enjoy that “the mags are adamant PIF are” and investment fund, I mean those two words are in the name of the thing. Thick as pig shit. No clue whatsoever what that jlaws point is. They’re a £700B (that’s only liquid funds iirc) fund who have effectively spent £1.3B on a football club, a notoriously hard thing to turn a profit on. How would we ever be sold at a profit unless we are one of the elite sides? And to get there they’d have to spend a fortune which makes profit even less likely. They can keep making up scenarios but the real reason they bought the club is staring them in the face. If they wanted profit they could have put £1.3B into Google shares ahead of the split.
  17. Is that bloke in anyway reliable? Seems a weird time to throw in a bid for a player? Unless we think we now can show we are safe.
  18. As Craig mentioned I think the timing is weird, unless they have a bloke lined up and coming in and have accepted going down but think this gives him a head start on getting his methods etc across, which would lend itself to the ownership thinking it’s time for a change as you mention. If it’s simply to try and stay up I think it’s a rash gamble with a short term outlook. When you look at the managers at the top end of the championship it’s mostly managers you’d say are probably worse than Dyche, WBA got Bruce for instance.
  19. Fernandinho too maybe? What I like about the Man City players are their flair players don’t get discouraged or shy away when people try and intimidate them like Athleti did. Foden, Grealish, KDB, Silva etc will just keep going. I’ll always remember when Grealish played Birmingham for Villa and that fucking idiot ran on and punched the back of his head, he kept his head and then went on to score the winner iirc.
