I think it's a class film, one of the best I've seen in a long time Would highly recommend the book (the one with the yellow cover that the film is based on). Great read. Saw 4 - crap (and I liked the previous 3)

Seconded. Really sorry to hear this.

Why? Its eyes look deranged... The white one has a red & white scarf on - come on woman!

What the hell is that? A festive Miffy!

I remember the good old days when November was sacred. Partridge though. ;)

Somehow I've been talked into going to that, not really much of a fan but my mate's been to some god-awful gigs with me so it's about time I returned the favour. As for today.. TFI Friday.. a few quiet drinks last night seemed to spiral out of control and as a result I feel a little ropey today. Hopefully nothing a Subway and 2 cans of red bull won't cure. I'm up for a spot of loafing as well, but some daft idiot has left me in charge of a load of quite important things, d'oh.

Your house tells the world that you ought to be a leader. You are a freedom lover and a strong person. You are shy and reserved. If you've drawn a cross on each of windows, you always want to live alone. Once you have a problem, you need a friend with you. Your life is always full of changes. You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You see the world as it is, not as you believe it should be. You are not a romantic person by nature. It also safe to say that others don't see you as a flirt. You don't think much about yourself.

Back in today after Thursday and Friday off and I'm the only one in the department AND we're ridiculously busy so no chance of loafing. Plus my Outlook has decided to crash and the "IT Department" are clueless. Perfect start to the week..

Moyles is a total c*nt but I tend to listen to his show in the mornings for a bit of light relief/banter. Some of it is quite funny. I don't think I could stomach him if he didn't have the other million people on the team though. Agree about the advertising though, it has become a total joke lately - but then I'd rather listen to that than yet another round of that crap Kanye West song/Kylie's latest pathetic offering.

Really sorry to hear that Jonny. As others have said, hope you can make the most of it. And definitely get a portable dvd player sorted to get yer film watched.

I was hoping to not really bother with Christmas this year but I think I may have left it a bit late for telling my family... Money's tight at the minute and I don't want anything myself so I'm hoping they will just remove me from the equation. I fucking hate Christmas shopping like.

This is shaping up to be a brilliant Friday. We had a work night out last night with clients and there's a few green faces today, whilst I feel fine and dandy and am looking forward to a quiet weekend.

I used to find that handy for grabbing things on the way to work. Just moved though so it'll no doubt be more of an effort in future. Not that I ever get much post like.

Me neither. Got to next week with clients though. At least my transport and meal etc are all paid for. EDIT.. back to the original question.. I don't think I have any mackem mates. How good am I?

I missed this thread! Quite a few left their seats in 'The Corner' when the third went in - but that was for a piss and a pint rather than leave the ground imo. The media picked up on the folk leaving their seats as fans leaving the ground (there's a surpirse). Yeah a few around me got up muttering 'nuff of this shite like' and stormed out only to return a few mins later with a pie.

Might pop in, in between the stress of moving house, because you always arrange that for a matchday like when Arse/Man U are playing too.

Halloween: Resurrection, on TV last night. Awful, but then that was to be expected, I just couldn't be arsed to change the channel.

Oh aye. The monobrow on that smiley terrifies me.

Wow, my numbers finally came up.

I never used to like spicy food but it's growing on me more and more and I've become a big fan of curries and chillis - I still don't like them too hot but certainly not as mild as I would've insisted on a few years ago.

Ugh it's been a long week, I'm full of cold too just in time for the weekend. Off next Thursday morning and all day Friday though to sort my new flat so a slightly shorter shift next week.
