There's a few lazy bastards like this at my work - of course if it stops on one floor and there's a delivery guy or the office junior with a trolley or a load of boxes or something, you can guarantee none of them will even consider getting out and walking one more flight, instead making them wait for the next one. I never get the lift and I find it hilarious when people get stuck in it because they were too lazy to climb (or even worse, descend) one flight of stairs. Karmatastic.

Extra RIPs from me as I've just remembered they opened half an hour early for us before a hideous work quiz night in November, and the Lord made sure we were well looked after.

Got a message about this earlier from his group on Facebook. We quite often go there from work, curry, rice and naan bread for a few quid, always a winner.

 Brilliant.

Saw Whitesnake a few year ago at the City Hall - had the piss ripped for seeing them when I was in my 20s but they put on a phenomenal show, it was the perfect venue too as I'm not a fan of the Arena. Really talented musicians.

How come those seats are more expensive though - the last time I was up there it felt like I was in orbit - I could almost see my house! Don't know but personally I love the view - yeah it's damn high up and the stairs are an arse but I generally claim it's my exercise for the fortnight. Plus you get a perfect view of the game - though I'm not a fan of sitting low down - and if the game is shit you get a lovely view of the city. Do it.... Reet thats it - "Hello, is that the box office? Good, hang on a sec I've lost my inhaler" Gonna ring them on Monday. Wor Lass is gonna have my nuts. You know it makes sense... I ended up sharing one of my dad's mate's season tickets after the ground was extended and he wasn't over keen on the seat hence me and another of my dad's mate's daughters ended up sharing. Hated it at first and swore I would move further down once the ticket was solely mine - yet once the amnesty came a few years back I was more than happy to stay, despite my seat having someone else's name on it.. fucking bondholders..

Korn - Evolution Wasn't really into their newer stuff, but after seeing them the other night thought I'd give them a go and it's not that bad after all...

Really into Lisa Gardner's books at the minute. Total page-turners.

I still vote no tbh.

Can't be arsed doing the sums but it will probably work out at approx the same game by game price as full season tickets (mine in Milburn L7 was £598 at last years prices, would've been £612ish(?)) if I'd renewed later. If you want to renew and go elsewhere just write to the box office at renewal time and they should be able to move you.

Hansen and Lineker bigging Shearer up.

New tactics for 2008, adidas boy. Get with the program.

Good observations, except for the flying beverage which I didn't see. Even though it was you who threw it? I'd have to have a fucking good arm on me to hit the Leazes from my seat in Milburn L7. Arm of the tiger tbf. Keegan's just been on the phone and appointed me the new throw-in taker.

What happened with the Anal mask? Fuck knows, thankfully it didn't seem to happen.

Would like to express my deepest cringes at those paper hat things.

I'm going for 2-0 and I think I'm probably being optimistic.

Nice one 2J. Two things: 1. First time I've heard the full version of Local Hero in ages. 2. I've been starting to get a little annoyed by all the Shearer talk recently but that clip of a bandaged Big Al scoring past the mackems has cheered me up no end.

My friend was telling me yesterday that the real Scrabble people have launched a legal case against Facebook to take down all the fake Scrabble applications because they're all exactly the same as the proper board game. Has anyone else heard this? I haven't bothered to look it up or anything. It was on the BBC website the other day.

Gutted to hear Keegan speak well of him in the press conference.

Nice one, cheers. Thought he came across well. I'm feeling really positive about this at the minute.

We'll know this is true if the Sun run a story over the weekend about Shearer having a picture of a cock bluetoothed to him whilst innocently driving round Newcastle.
