Found your geps yet? I booked an emergency appointment for an eye test yesterday afternoon, set off and got halfway there before my boyfriend rang to say he'd found them in his jacket pocket. Still getting some new ones... thank fuck he found them though as it'll take a few days to get the new ones made and there's no way I'd be turning up to work in sunglasses.

I've been off since 12.30 on Wednesday.. shame I burn incredibly easily in the sun. Still, it's nice to spend a Friday lazing in the yard rather than at work..

Sorry to hear that. Hope it will spur you on though.

Great choice of tuneage, for a fucking change.

Few pints after work then Peep Show with a nice drop of wine.

No one warned me he'd try and get out of doing chores because he's taking some bint bowling on this bloody game!!!

Get yourself a Wii and pipe down and let us men get on with it. Wii I wouldn't mind so much if we had more than one TV.

I had to ring HSBC yesterday as they hadn't amended the standing order for my rent (they were obviously confused as it was a different amount and reference but to the same sort code/account). A foreign gentleman answered and I could only just contain myself as he said "eez eet to go to the same sort code and bank account madaaaaaam", sounded the double of Fonejacker. In fairness he was very helpful.

I hope they've got half a bottle of Blue Nun.

This is partly what I'm hoping to achieve. I usually tend to stick with the same few that I know I like rather than branching out and going for something which will really compliment my food. Also I usually only drink white but I'd like to discover a few reds instead of being so quick to write them off.

Going for the first time in a few weeks with my sister for her birthday. Looking forward to it, but not sure what to expect apart from hopefully some nice wine. Any experts?

I'm also going to see Coogan, on the Friday I think, though I'm sure I've lost the tickets already. Can't stand Lee Evans, the man has the most irritating face and I would never, ever get tired of hitting him with a brick. The few times I've sat through some of his stuff (on tv) he's always dragged a 'joke' out for way longer than necessary, thus removing anything that was funny about it in the first place.

I'd rather Chelsea won, but as I'm more interested in us getting a good result against them I think Man U will win.

Dixy chicken.

I always take my shoes off at work.. I prefer just socks, hate wearing shoes of any kind. I wear trainers to get to and from work (running for the bus..) and keep work shoes under my desk in case they're needed.

Howay lad, fifa is easy I mastered World Cup 98 for the PC and as a result all the games since have been a piece of piss.

Nice one 2J. I'll always have fond memories of this season as it was my first as a season ticket holder, albeit the ticket was shared.

I read the the first one after seeing someone in their 30s walk into a load of people on the way down Northumberland Street because they couldn't bear to take their head out of it.. Fucking shite.

Stop hoping for a hijacking. Thanks for your replies. Just heard back off the landlord to say the contractor is waiting for "a part" and they will ring later. It's a fucking pain in the arse having to keep chasing them like. Only moved in 3 weeks ago and they've blatantly already pegged me as the annoying one.

We moved into a new flat recently and have had a problem with the boiler ever since. We can only get it to stay on for 30-40 mins then the pilot goes out and the warning LED comes on. If I press the reset button (as advised in the manual when the red light comes on) it makes a bit of noise for about 5 seconds then the warning light comes back on and it can't be reset unless the boiler is switched off for a few hours and we try again later. The landlord is aware of the problem and is apparently sending someone out tomorrow but as they sent someone yesterday and it still has the same problem I'm not confident. As I'm fairly clueless with this sort of thing I wondered if anyone had any ideas. It's an Ariston Eurocombi boiler - the manuals (A23/A27) are here: http://www.centralheating.co.uk/index/fuse...ctoryGroup/5344 I've found a few places on the net which indicate people have had similar problems but no definite fixes.. Any help appreciated..

This, because I was in the home end. Second row, when they scored last minute everyone in the row in front jumped up/forward, with me and my mate sitting there numb and shellshocked, completely forgetting where we were. Then it was disallowed and everyone in front came trooping back. After half a second pissing ourselves laughing we legged it out. Good times.

That's my usual access. Whereabouts are you?
