Mate of mine has been banging on about the Cumberland recently, can't see the appeal myself though. Went in the Tyne for the first time in ages last weekend, it was alright, but seemed to suffer from all the work going on around it. As for me.. The Chillingham (too many scousers), Echo (too many students), the Hussar (never been in), or The Cornerhouse (alright). Ventured to the Newton today and was in quite a hurry to get out. Hmmmm.

For me it was the original Toontastic board, during 6th form, late 2002 I think. Went to the first pissup, got through A-Levels etc. I remember posting a thread about deciding which Uni to go to ... ended up not bothering and being loaf-tastic until I got a job a few months later. All these years later, don't get to as many pissups as I once did but still in the same job and have ventured out of my mam's house so I now pay my own internet bills.. and I spend slightly less time on here but can't tear myself away completely. Some class memories.
