What a load of shite! My mam's in a wheelchair and when we used to go for meals on holiday etc they'd quite often write 'wheelchair' on the corner of the bill, to identify us. Who fucking cares, as long as they bring the right food/drinks!
-
As a father there are really only certain names you can pass on to your boy, e.g. John, Stephen, Thomas, "proper" names. Wayne is NOT one of those names.

You're kidding me right? Fucking awful cheap shit - 'click' city those shirts.... Ugh, makes me shiver just reading about how clicky they were. Rank things. clicky That was my first Toon top as well, right when I started getting into football. Had the away shorts too.

Can't believe we're not losing yet.

Oh aye they do. I used to be seeing a right nutter who wouldnt give up on it. Her "what you thinking?" Me "nowt" Her "Come one, what you thinking?" Me "err, nowt?" (now I start to think, what was I thinking about?) Her "You must be thinking something?" Me "No not really, I was miles away" Her "about what?" Me "stop trying to get into my head man fuck sake!"" Why anyone would give a lad a reason to start spouting shit is beyond mental to me.

I've never asked a bloke what he was thinking like, always assumed it was a myth that lasses did that.

Donated, I want some photos mind Oliver.

I have learned never to get my hopes up when opening a thread, as it will invariably have gone way off track/shit by the time I turn up.
-
This. Thinking of you both, hope you can get through the tough times.

I was at that too. First time I've been there for a gig in years, I like it though as long as I ignore some of the tosser clientele. It's the sort of size gig that I most enjoy, not really into big venues.

Congrats - I like it when people take advantage of a boring international break.

just saw this, Which lass are you talking about? alex is on about the blonde lass in the Forth Hotel p.s. this thread fucking reeks. The place in Pink Lane, just over from Gotham Town? We went there on the Friday night - don't think you were with us Fish. Jill will remember her. Daft cow nearly fell into the cellar 2 or 3 times. Aye I remember her, she was fucking hilarious.
-
Even I've been in Gotham Town with this lot.

Well if we're recommending solicitors, I work at an awesome firm you should use mine, Skol. Definitely stay a fucking mile away from Winn.

Never understood solicitors myself. Seller: You'll need to promise you'll buy it. Buyer: I promise Seller: And you have the money? Buyer: Yeah sorted Seller: Sign here then. House sold Bish Bosh Bash I think they do slightly more than that.. Legally rob us? Hold monies to reap interest, delaying handovers of keys etc? General Twattery. Sack of bastards you lot. I find it funny as fuck mind when someone doesn't instruct solicitors and says they'll do all the work themselves, they're on the phone every 5 minutes asking what they need to do next because they don't have a clue.

Propranolol is licensed for anxiety, often used for situations like this. SG, a beta-blocker will help deal with the physical aspects of severe anxiety - such as reduce a racing heart beat, and reduce shaking and sweating. It may also also have a psychological effect - although this will be more placebo than anything else. You won't be able to take one if you have had asthma. Whether your doctor will prescribe one, I don't really know - depends on the doctor. My brother was prescribed propranolol for interview stress. I wouldn't worry about adverse effects for single doses. You could also ask your doctor about a benzodiazepine if the physical aspects of your anxiety aren't prevalent. The thing is, in many professions, you have to give seminars or talks to people. Some people relish it, others, like me, hate it every time but learn to accept it and use props to get by (thank fuck for Powerpoint). If you take a beta-blocker now, how will you ever learn to cope with the pressure? So my advice would be, ask your doctor about this if it is truly a one-off. Otherwise, I would say face your fears head on and just do it. The first 30 seconds are the worst. I think hes got more hope of getting a beta blocker than a benzo tbh! Depends on the doctor again. My wife got diazepam for flying after an accident we were involved in. They only prescribe small amounts though - 5x2mg or something stupid. Again, it's more of a placebo, pretty harmless. I get it all the time for flying like. The 2mg ones. Got offered beta blockers the first time, as far as I remember, but went for diazepam.

Sophie brought some divorce papers to the flat, got stoned with Jeremy and ended up having sex. There was another situation I can't fully remember where she ended up having drunken sex with Mark and the condom split I think. Old Meg.

I know this thread is canny old, but I went to Up & Running in Fenwicks and it was spot on. Apart from feeling like a tit running on the treadmill in the middle of the shop.

I would've thought a man in your situation would know about the birds and the bees.
