Thinking of you. Re the carpal tunnel, I got zapped all over yesterday to test for it and as I don't have it, it now looks like my problems may be originating in my shoulder. Wouldn't like the sound of those injections if it had been CT! Thanks Hope you get your shoulder problems sorted out too. An update on the injection....DONT EVER have one!! There was me asking the doc if he was injecting both my wrists, as I have trouble with both. He said no, I'm not that cruel NOW I know what he meant!! He just did my left wrist (I'm left handed and thats my worst one with pins and needles all the time) The injection itself was painful but not as bad as I thought it would be, but now I am honestly in agony. Today is even worse than yesterday. I can barely move it, its stuck in a weird claw like grip. I could play a very convincing role in a horror movie Dr said my symptoms would be worse for a few days before they hopefully got better, but my god I never had pain before, now If I try to move my fingers I could cry. I hope its all worth it. I am not having the other wrist done, no way. I have an appt with the consultant anyway in early March as my Dr rekons surgery would be best for me, which I hope they will do. Happy bloody New Year! Ivy House closed quite a while ago, unless it's reopened since.

I would estimate that 75% of my rage comes from trips to the Co-op (which is where I do my main shopping). There are so many fuckwits in there, it's ridiculous.

The last couple of years I've made it so we've had beef/vegetarian bollocks as that's all I can cook. Going to my mam's this year though and I'm reliably informed that turkey & gammon are on the menu, with all the trimmings of course. Looking forward to it.

Good point, I forgot I went on a team one. We went bowling (I am shit), but went for a meal first. Me and my mate arrived late, before we got there they told the staff it was my birthday and at the end of the meal they played the happy birthday song and I had to dance with a member of staff dressed in a dog costume That's just reminded me my team is attempting to arrange bowling for some time in January. I made the mistake of mentioning that I own a bowling ball and now they all think I'm really good, when in fact the bowling ball was an impulse buy about 3 years ago and doesn't even have finger holes drilled into it. I am destined for humiliation.

Not having a Christmas party this year. Everyone's just doing things amongst their own teams, and thankfully we went out for a meal last month to welcome some new starters, so we're not bothering. Work nights out are shit, generally.

Just watched the last one, absolutely awesome. My favourite series so far I reckon.

If it's the one with Harvey Keitel, I only watched half of one episode....it was so toe curlingly bad, I switched over and never went back. Might have worked better if I hadn't seen the British version first. Same for The Office. This, fucking shite. The US Office is awesome tbh.

I have 6 invites. Used it for a bit last night, not particuarly blown over by it so far like.

Had that a few times, scary as hell the first time but it's not so bad once you understand what it is and just wait for it to pass. 23 years man, can't even imagine what that must have been like.

Umbrellas are the devil, but I usually carry one in my bag. I prefer to use the golf umbrellas from work though, at least if I'm going to piss people off I might as well be really dry.

Restaurants, around 10% if the service has been good. Don't mind looking like a twat and not tipping if I've not been impressed with the service though. Taxi drivers normally get an extra couple of quid if they've been ok, if I didn't enjoy the journey though I just wait for my change. Takeaway, usually round up, don't always bother though tbh. Don't tip in bars or have a need for any of the other things mentioned in the OP.
