I'm doing a German course with the Open University at the minute. It's a bit difficult at first, as I'm rusty since it's years since I did GCSE. Been listening to German radio stations to try and help, but loads of them just play English music.

As was Peter Doherty, the Jammy Dodger.

That finale has taken Dex to another level. Spot on......Was getting worried the show was going a bit 'soft'. Agreed, took me a while to get my head around it and I've thought about it a few times since watching it, excellent TV. I remember me and Mrs P were in a kind of shock after that and barely a word was exchanged for a good 10 minutes. Same, and I was silently fuming that I hadn't even remotely seen it coming.

First time I went we stayed in some dump that lifted my credit card details.. Second time stayed near the station, think it was an Ibis. It was fine, never saw any trouble tbh. The Van Gogh Museum is quality, and the Sex Museum is funny as there's always a few perverts wandering around.

This, basically, is why I will not take *loads* of valium. I got offered beta blockers when I first went to the doctors about it but didn't like the sound of them for the reasons CT mentioned above.

I get valium, it helps a little but I'm always a little too cautious to take enough to really calm me down.

Beards are nasty, unless you're Santa. Or a nonce. Actually, maybe Santa should shave more.

I hate flying (bad experience) and I've seen too many episodes of Air Crash Investigation. That said, a lass from work is about to start a new job with Emirates and it sounds pretty cushty. Shame I'd need to be on valium constantly.

Got my half price one today, the pineapple was lovely. Looking forward to the chilli almonds as well. Btw Peter did you get a £1 off for each of us that signed up? Already roped in a few others from work so might keep it going for a bit at the cheaper price.

My reasons were threefold: 1. No quids as I get paid next week 2. Been full of cold all week and didn't fancy sitting outside for a few hours 3. Couldn't be fucking arsed

Got my first one today, only tried the korean chilli rice crackers so far, which are lovely. Also got some marinated olives, cashews and chocolate peanuts for Himself.

Used to need mine doing all the time, not had it done in years though. I quite like it, and it's amazing how much better you can hear afterwards (duh). Last time I got it done I had forgotten the doctors was next to a train line and got a huge fright when one went by Got it done once though when I had an infection too and it was agony.
